I've been a patient here for years. Thankful for the help that I have received for my ADHD and anxiety!
I have been a patient at this clinic for about six years. I must say that the staff is very caring and attentive. As long as you communicate your needs and concerns and follow their instructions, you will be in good hands here.
Dr. Fairweather and I go back more than 10 years she is good at what she does and has really helped me in so many ways. She has mad a difference in my life.
The staff here know what they’re doing and are wonderful to work with. Both Lisa and Aimee are very knowledgeable and have helped me find the medication that best suits me. They truly understand many of the common experiences with ADHD and more. There are moments in which our conversations catch me by surprise but from those, I find myself understanding ‘me’ more than ever before and even better, how to grow from where I stand. Thank you so much.

Dr. Fairweather and staff is awesome!
They aren't very accommodating when it comes to scheduling conflicts. Clearly this office only operates to make money.

Responding to a video appt. via link sent in reminder with Aimee Hughes. No problems with Hughes or Fairweather, but link/app. Was charged day of appointment 2+hours before video appointment. Used the link provided and waited while the app screen said "waiting for dr to enter chat"...waited and waited, then called telling Tiffany what was going on. Appt. 3:45, called 3:53 and told I was a "no show". Of course, after very short phone call could only communicate thru KLARA. Then no response on KLARA during trying to figure out the ON portal, etc. No sign off or goodbye from office. Did get message thru KLARA next day. After office said they had talked to Aimee, another appointment with date was offered. I asked later if the offered appointment would be charged...answer yes. Have been patient for 8+ years and NEVER a no show. The office has the messages thru KLARA about having problems with the ON portal. I was told office had sent 6 emails. since last June. I could not find them and asked at least twice for the emails and no response concerning the emails. I feel this was handled very cut and dry.....The patient is wrong....we will not check into app problems...if you want to see dr...pay again...end of story :( Lisa Fairweather...I have seen you responding to reviews. I ask that you check into this matter. Thank you...;.T. Mills
Won't accept insurance and charges $525 for an initial consultation - how is this even real?
Dr. Fairweather has been amazing with helping me navigate my newly diagnosed ADHD. Any questions regarding medication were answered promptly and she is open to trying different medication options until I have found a dosage that works for me, and that I feel comfortable with. Her and her team go above and beyond to ensure that any and all concerns I may have are addressed.
I’ve been seeing Dr.Fairweather for over a year now & I am very pleased with the help I have received not only from Dr.Fairweather, but her staff as well. The staffing is very helpful, kind, and great at responding whenever I have any questions or concerns in a timely manner .
Dr. Fairweather has been amazing, I've had a lot of difficulty trying to find a doctor that truly understands me this past year. Dr. Lisa on the other hand has been so helpful and supportive, she truly cares about my needs, she explains my treatment plans in great detail to help me understand as well. By far the best psychiatrist I've seen, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor! LOVE Dr. Fairweather! She's been a huge help in finding the treatment options that work best for me, my overall health and wellbeing, and my personal goals. While her office doesn't take insurance they're very upfront about the cost, communicating an expected timeline and process for treatment, and providing requested info. I was diagnosed with adult ADHD mid-2020 with another doc and had struggled with getting treatment from my GP. Dr. Fairweather has helped me dive into treatment, make a plan, and listened to my concerns, questions, and insight into my experience with different medications. It has been life-changing to get the treatment I need after years of having to advocate on my own behalf with doctors who didn't get that just because I've made it this far in life doesn't mean I'm not struggling with my untreated ADHD and other mental health diagnoses.
TLDR: If you're looking for a neurologist who is kind and caring and attentive, this is a great place. BUT be prepared to pay A LOT out of pocket. I was searching for somewhere to finally get a diagnosis for ADHD for a long time, and reviews pointed me to Fairweather Medical. I absolutely love Aimee Hughes. She's kind, caring, incredibly attentive to my needs, and she LISTENS when I talk to her about my concerns and answers my questions without hesitation or being condescending or rude. Overall, the best psychiatry experience I've had as a patient. I would 1000% recommend Aimee to anyone I know because of how wonderful she is, and in fact my husband switched over after a month of me seeing her. But it's very pricey. Office staff are nice and usually from what I can tell just overwhelmed with their work but they're typically very fast to respond and very kind as well. It took a few reminders on my part to get them to send me the receipts for my visits so I could submit them to insurance since they don't work with any insurance, but Megan especially is typically quick and she and Alice do a great job. However, again, it's just so expensive. I expected that going in, but just be aware. I understand that neurology and psychiatry are expensive and that of course we need to pay for service and work they are providing. They don't work with insurance, but I'm fine with submitting my own requests when I can get the papers I need from them. The primary issue I have with cost is that I have to pay to submit a request for renewing my prescription. I know that these are small charges, but they add up quickly and it's a bit frustrating when I could simply send a message or call instead of submitting a request that costs $35 on top of whatever my prescription costs. But I understand that this may be a secure way to manage the requests, because I don't know how many they get in a day. Just would be nice if there were a cheaper way. Again, I adore Aimee. And other than how much we're paying I've been very happy with Fairweather Medical. TLDR: If you're looking for a neurologist who is kind and caring and attentive, this is a great place. Seeing Dr Fairweather has by far been the most productive treatment in my journey with adult ADHD. Dr Fairweather is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and communicates the complexities behind ADHD in a way that is easy to understand. The thorough assessment process and following treatment has truly changed my life and I am thankful for Dr Fairweather and her staff. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking treatment for ADHD. You will be heard, cared for, and given exceptional treatment!
The office staff is all over the place. They don’t respond to messages sent through their portal and don’t take responsibility for their inattentiveness. I took time off work for an appointment they scheduled only to show up to a closed office and no one answering the phone. They only made excuses as to why my appointment was not in their system. When they rescheduled me for the next day, they cancelled that appointment 15 minutes prior to the appointment because they didn’t receive my lab work. They didn’t receive my lab work because I had asked 2 weeks earlier if my labs were sent to the lab. No response. Complete waste of money and time. The office staff is all over the place. Dr. Fairweather’s assistance has quite possibly saved my marriage. I’ve still got a long way to go but her help with improving communication with my wife has made a huge impact in our relationship. My entire family is beyond grateful. I fully endorse her and her entire staff!
Dr. Fairweather and her staff are phenomenal! They have made my treatment experience so easy and I couldn’t be more grateful. The team utilizes awesome tools to communicate and walk through the appointment process. Pricing and availability were very clearly communicated to me before I even scheduled my appointment. I’m so thankful for the time the team took to implement and adjust to these telemedicine options as we navigate this “new normal” post COVID. Megan was such a huge help in helping me schedule my appointment and assisting with all of the paperwork I needed. She communicates so well and responds really quickly. My experience with her helped ease my anxiety about my appointment. Dr. Fairweather is incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind. It is highly obvious that she genuinely cares about her patients. My consultation with her was so validating and made me feel really understood. Dr. Fairweather not only helped me understand my diagnosis, she also walked me through practical lifestyle things I could implement right away. She also spent extra time and care to make sure I understood exactly what my next steps are treatment wise and answered all of my questions. Following our appointment, Dr. Fairweather personally called me to discuss further medication options. Again demonstrating such a high level of compassion and empathy for me as the patient. This review honestly only scratches the surface on just how incredible this office is. If you’re struggling and debating on whether or not to reach out for help, please contact their office. This pdoc avoids difficult cases of treatment resistant depression. I was refused as a patient after revealing on the intake form that I've tried 1st, 2nd line SSRI and others and suffered side effects and no remissions. Such is the sad trend in psychiatry.
I love Nurse Practitioner Hughes, but do not like how this issue was handled at the front desk. I was due for a refill on 10/5/21 and was told that I have to wait until 10/19/21 for a refill which would make me go over a week without my medication. I feel like they are sending messages without thinking about the messages that they are sending... especially when you clearly don't see that you are relaying information to a patient that they will have to wait over a week to receive a refill... I messaged back on Klara patient portal again yesterday and did not receive a response. It is now Friday... and have only one day left of my medication. As a nursing student who graduates in December, this is concerning. Edit on 10/9/2021 since I can only message the staff in the Klara patient portal. I am not sure how to message Dr. Fairweather directly in the portal. I am a very understanding individual, and did not call your front desk once. I hardly ever complain, dislike confrontation, and this is the only negative review that I have ever posted. I appreciate you clarifying what occurred this past week and only wish that was clarified by Alice as well in the message she sent to me. The fact that I was messaged that I would not receive more medication until the 19th (my next appointment) without any explanation only created unnecessary stress for not only myself but your practice as well. I would've completely understood if I was told exactly what you stated to me, or if it was acknowledged that there must be an issue if a patient is needing a refill on October 6th, but a refill is not available until the 19th- red flag. I then did not receive a response the next day- now I completely understand why, but at the time this came across neglectful without any background information on what was occurring with the e-prescribing company.... there was no explanation. I was not rude at all to the staff, and stated that I understand that your practice is busy. Better communication could have helped lessen the negative responses. Dr. Lisa Fairweather is a real cut above other Doctors I have visited in the past, having been a patient for over ten years, she really cares about more than just providing prescriptions, she is not hesitant to let you know alternatives to treatments and maintaing healthy eating habits to improve energy and clear thinking.. having me check blood thyroid levels indicated a low thyroid level, which indicated I needed to see a physician & improved an aching joint issue that I had for several months, I would very much recommend a visit to see her! Dr. Fairweather is simply not your typical psychiatrist, her and her staff are deserving of some notable distinction from the crowd. They care, Dr.Fairweather and her staff genuinely care about their patients, and they live that out. Even when short a critical staff member, and the existing crew overloaded, I find them working into the evening hours to ensure that I’m well taken care of, or script sent as needed. It’s really quite refreshing, and sadly, surprising. And beyond this level of care that her and her practice provides, it becomes very clear, very quickly, that Dr.Fairweather is no amateur in the field, she’s competent in a uniquely valuable way as she has personal experience with some of the struggles that many of her patients share, enabling her to relate to and treat her patients on another level. Best decision of my life to come here. My life no longer feels like a train wreck. Thank God for the people here who are helping those of us who need the help!
I love Dr. Fairweather so much. She is very down to earth and listens to your problems. She has helped immensely with my ocd, which in turn helped me cut down on caffeine and cigarettes. I would recommend to anyone especially for help with ocd.
There's a steep cost of entry, but you get precise and detailed diagnoses from Dr. Fairweather's team. I struggled with ADHD my whole life, but being labeled as a "gifted child" by my educators and mentors led me into a troublesome upbringing, where my impulsivity and hyperactivity overrode my intelligence. I graduated with a 2.9GPA, but scored a 31 on my ACT, which is low B's in High School, scholarship level scores in collegiate tests. Schoolwork, schedules, discipline, and social skills were locked behind a wall I couldn't climb. It made me depressed, anxious, and disheartened with the world around me I learned to bottle everything up and pretend to be someone I wasn't. It was such a hopeless struggle. Fast forward to 2020 when COVID struck and I decided to get my mental health in order. I saw a doctor who prescribed me antidepressants, which helped, and he suggested I see someone for an ADHD consultation. Dr. Fairweather is who I went with. I met with Aimee Hughes over a Skype call and talked about my past and present at length, maybe an hour an a half. She confirmed what I had suspected my whole life and got the process started for me to start taking Adderall XR at the minimum dose. I cannot convey in words how much Aimee and Dr. Fairweather have done for me. My whole outlook on life changed for the better. Having counseling with them and the medicine I take, I feel, well, normal. I can make and keep schedules, I don't dread simple tasks, and I can stay focused on subjects that don't necessarily interest me. I feel like I'm not struggling anymore. If you're on the fence, do it. If the price is high, find a way. I'm more productive now than I've ever been, emotionally, socially, and in my career. If your story sounds like mine, do it. I can't say anything more poignant. There's a steep cost of entry, but you get precise and detailed diagnoses from Dr. Fairweather's team. … More

Great experience. Easy to talk to, flexible and accomodating when the request makes sense. Even though it is a telemedicine appointment, it is a "real conversation/exchange" not a one way conversation. I like her attention to details in adjusting the meds to the best dosage.

I came to Dr. Fairweather's practice a year or so ago because though I was able to manage my ADHD and anxiety up through college (with a lot of effort), I wanted to be able to thrive with it at my new, more demanding job. I am looking for a psychiatrist at the moment and have never been to this clinic. When reading the reviews though, I noticed that in response to one negative review, a response was made by Dr. Fairweather that there had never been a patient by that name in their office, and maybe a pseudonym was being used... Further positive reviews contain feedback that stated HIPPA and Federal Law prevent them from confirming or denying whether a specified person is a patient or not. So you either are lying, or you're in violation of the law here. This is pretty serious stuff and enough to make me never set foot in this office. The highest standards of care epitomizes Dr. Fairweather's practice. Authenticity, compassion and patient centricity best describe this office. A rarity to find these qualities and standards in modern medical practices.
ADHD is a common disorder that affects many people. There are many who find themselves unable to focus, and others who find ways to compensate in order to be more successful. It can be difficult to put your finger on ADD/ADHD when you are the one who suffers. You may not realize that not everyone has the same struggles as you. As a successful medical professional, I was unsure whether I "needed" help with my ADD. I have struggled with attention deficit for most of my life. It was not something that was commonly acknowledge while I was in school. As I have taken on more projects, my attention deficit became a greater issue. Dr. Fairweather came highly recommended among the medical community of DFW. I have found her to be a great listening ear, with no judgement. Her knowledge regarding a plethora of psychological struggles, including ADHD/ADD, bipolar disorder, and OCD, makes it easy to put faith in her capabilities as a practitioner. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fairweather for anyone questioning whether or not they might be struggling with the aforementioned disorders. ADHD is a common disorder that affects many people. After suffering - and I mean SUFFERING, for 7 days (couldn’t leave the house and that has never happened to me) Aimee was like a bright light when I was stuck in the darkness. She listened to me and immediately developed a treatment plan that I walked out of the office with that day. A few days later I had a question about a side effect and I heard back from Aimee in 11 MINUTES! She has saved my life and my career. I couldn’t be happier with the whole staff at Fairweather, but especially Aimee Hughes. I saw Aimee Hughes last Wednesday after my first bout of panic attacks. I have been seeing Sharyl Workman for a short time, but she has already helped me so much more than anyone else has. I've seen many doctors to manage my ADHD and anxiety issues and this is the first time I've had someone look at my issues holistically and provide guidance to live an overall healthier life. As for the staff I can't sing their praises enough. With other offices it can be so frustrating navigating insurance and scheduling and paper work that is not the case here. They are thorough and responsive. Above all else they are soooooo compassionate and understanding. It's so helpful when you are already feeling vulnerable and frustrated when treating mental health issues. The only downside is cost of care here, but that's not their fault really it's the cost of healthcare in general these days. While it is expensive it's worth it you definitely get the value! I highly recommend this practice to anyone! I have been seeing Sharyl Workman for a short time, but she has already helped me so much more than anyone else has. My appt with Aimee Hughes was great! It was a follow-up from the previous PA. She made me feel at ease as well as eager to help me as an individual, not my condition. She reviewed my file from the previous PA prior to me coming in, so it was refreshing to not have to repeat my history, as you typically do with nurses and doctors at a regular office visit. Aimee was friendly, listened, and was respectful and receptive to my desired treatment and concerns. We put a plan in place and I left feeling relieved and unjudged. Very pleased with the outcome! I have been in a state of incapacitating anxiety for the last two months. I have gone to doctors offices, therapists, even my OBGYN trying to find relief from the torture I’ve been experiencing every single day- only to have more fear and uncertainty each time I sought help. I made my appointment because of the google reviews, and I’m here now for that very reason. I was so nervous going in expecting another let down, but Dr. Fairweather took her time with me, listened to everything I had to say, reassured me that I was going to get better and stayed straight forward with me about my path to get there. She’s intelligent, relatable, and compassionate. She could tell at the end of our appointment that I was overwhelmed with a few things, and she pulled me back aside to make sure she further explained and reassured me so that I felt comfortable. I feel more at ease with the future and that I’m going to be in good hands with her helping me. I have been in a state of incapacitating anxiety for the last two months. DR. FAIRWEATHER SAVED MY LIFE. I've been to numerous psychiatrists over the last 20 years, and never before have I had a psychiatrist who listened, cared, AND knew her stuff. I was on the brink of suicide, feeling hopeless because no doctor had ever been able to help me...until I met Dr. Fairweather. She was the first doctor of MANY to get my diagnosis--and treatment--RIGHT. THANK YOU, DR. FAIRWEATHER!
I was in a very bad place emotionally, but Dr Lisa Fairweather agreed to stay late to see me. She listened, cared, and she made sure I was comfortable with our plan of treatment before ending our session. I've only had 3 more sessions for ADHD, anxiety and depression, but Dr. F has proven that she's here for me and she's made me feel understood and hopeful...more so than any other doc. Th
What can I say? I saw dr. fairweather and was pleasantly surprised. Along with my attention problems, and I left there feeling more confident than ever that I was 1. understood, AND 2. on the road to recovery. Yeah!
I couldn't recomment dr lisa fairweather more highly. I was doing horribly, and feeling like no one could help. After just our first session, I knew I was in great hands. Dr fairweather truly listened, and I have no doubt that she really cares about me.

I saw Dr. Workman on my first visit and can't say enough about her professionalism and overall welcoming spirit. She made me feel comfortable from the start and truly gave me such a sense of relief by the time I left my appointment. It felt as if I were being heard and understood for the first time in a really long time. The front office staff was also wonderful.
Dangerous practices ... please do not risk going here.
If you think you are going to be able to see Dr. Fairweather, don’t bother. She MIGHT do your initial appointment, but you will be shuffled to Sharyl Workman who is NOT a Doctor. You will NOT be able to get anyone on the phone EVER. You will be FORCED to only text them through their online system, Klarus. They may or may not get back to you. To ask for a refill of your ongoing medication, you will be forced to go through Dr. Fairweather’s personal rescriptme website. Here, you will pay $35 just to REQUEST your normal, monthly refill. After being a patient of hers for the last 2 years (now Sharyl Workman for the past 6 months) I would advise you to avoid this “practice” like the Plague. They are nothing but a medicine factory. They keep changing their hours and closing sporadic days without notice. Do NOT expect to get actual help here. Please Google Dr. Fairweather’s past before making an appointment. Beware this place does not take insurance. Your first visit is $450 and follow ups are $175. Also, you can NEVER get them on the phone. Try it, you'll see. I was recommended this place by a friend who said a certain drug had changed his life and with us having similar problems, he thought it might help me too So i paid my $450 and asked for the medicine, i left with nothing. I related this to the PA (that's who I saw, my friend saw the real doctor so maybe she's better who knows) and was told I paid $450 for advice, Not sure i really got any advice anyway. And that's some mighty expensive advice! There are a lot of psychiatry practices in the area; I'd try a different one. Beware this place does not take insurance. Highly recommended physician!!
What a breath of fresh air to have someone with the knowledge to be able to help you or no one else could see it
Dr. Fairweather and her team are really great. I highly highly recommend them.
I’ve made great strides in my health under Dr. Fairweather’s care! Her staff is the best.
This is the best psychiatrist I have seen! The front desk was so helpful! I spoke with the receptionist and she answered every question I had and was so kind and understanding!
The whole staff here is professional, knowledgeable and caring. It's refreshing to have someone simply listen, relate and answer your questions. Simply put, deciding to make that first appointment has been one of the best decisions i've ever made.
Ms. Workman and Dr. Fairweather are a great team that truly care about there patients. They will do whatever it takes to get them on the right treatment plan. I highly recommend them.
After calling multiple doctors offices in town to find the right care professional for my girlfriend, I was very happy to be able to connect with Kayla at this office. She was friendly, professional, and took the time to really help us out with what we were looking for.
Fairweather Medical Group changed my life. I’ve been struggling with ADHD my whole life. When I started my position, the demands exceeded the coping mechanisms I’ve used my whole life. Sheryl worked with me around my crazy travel schedule to help me get control over my life and my stress. I’m so grateful!
Dr. Fairweather and Sharyl Workman are the best of the best. The office staff is so incredibly helpful and attentive. I have struggled with ADHD my entire life and can say without a doubt this is the most well managed care I have ever received.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I came in with multiple problems and after just a few months all of my underlying issues have been taken care of. When I had a med that didn’t work for me they saw me promptly to switch up my regimen. I’ve been seeing the nurse practitioner and she’s been great, she listens to you and really wants to help. They order lab work and they also offer a genetics test which I highly recommend. They’re more thorough than my PCP. Also, I have never waited more than a minute in the waiting room. It’s easy to get ahold of them through they’re online messaging service, they’re extremely prompt with sending prescriptions, and the receptionists are very friendly. Definitely recommend this place!
