Dr. Lisa Dos Santos

Amazing surgeon, compassionate and thorough. I would recommend her to any one i care about, 100%.

A good surgeon, but the facilities she works with did not do the best when it came to both comfort and pain control. (I know this because my sister recently had the exact same surgery and had a very different experience from mine.) Dr. Dos Santos was apathetic when I brought this to her attention. Very unqualified to work with patients that have experienced medical trauma or those who have PTSD. My experiences proved her entire team, from administrators to nurses follow her lead and are cold and hard to work with.

Had surgical procedure by Dr. Dos Santos, Should have realized when I waited 2.5 hrs for the initial appointment to find another doctor. She never came in to see me post surgery or follow up with a call. My post-surgical appointment was with a very nice P.A. but not the doctor. She lacks the basics in bedside manner. I'm sure there are better doctors than her and the factory experience.

I had to have surgery done and I contacted Dr. Dos Santos. Her front staff called me the next day for consultation. Dr. Dos Santos was very thorough and she did the surgery as soon as it was possible. She even called me the Frday before my surgery to put my mind at ease. My surgery went perfect and the after care was excellent. I still see her for 6 months follow up. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dos Santos.

I was referred to Dr. Dos Santos by my OBGYN (probably because they are Northwell physicians. It was determined I needed a procedure . I called the office to have Dr. Dos Santos call me back because I had some questions, She never called me back. The person who schedules the surgery appointments was incompetent, she never sent me the medical clearance forms, and she was hard to get a hold of. If you need a physician to answer your concerns outside of your visit, she is not for you.

I have a medical diagnosis which required a doctor who was able to think outside the box, something which unfortunately, is seldom found today. Dr. Dos Santos was the perfect physician for me. She was thorough, thoughtful and extremely informative. I would highly recommend her. Having recently undergone a robotic hysterectomy with her, my recovery was quick and fairly painless. She also has a great sense of humor --I love the fact that she is so very human.

I tried for a week to make an appointment. The first faxes of my medical reports supposedly were not sent even though my fax machine said it went through. So I sent them again and made sure to call an hour later to confirm that they were received. I was told they were and that they would call. Three days go by with no call, I call them and ask how long is the wait. They say 24hrs, they ask my name, I'm put on hold for almost 20min and told again they don't have them! Screw my worries right?
