Dr. Lisa Michelle Coester

My experience with Dr Coester is amazing. I had two procedures done and she did amazing work on my Shoulder and Knee. I strongly recommend her.

Lisa is amazing! She listened to my concerns, when others wouldn't. Surgery went amazing. She's so caring about all her patients. The staff Is amazing as well.

I had been given a "new" medication that was later found to cause tendon ruptures. Dr Coester recognized my bicep tendon rupture other docs missed, strapped my arm down and had me on the table hours later. She saved my right arm. I am a professional pianist in Colorado Springs. If your only option is surgery by this doctor, think twice take my advice, drive the three hours to the Mayo clinic in Rochester MN. This doctor is proof a medical degree doesn't mean she got top of her class!!!! Remember that guy in shop class that got a C? I bet so did she!

Awesome doctor. Took all the time in the world with me, answered all questions, showed me what was wrong. Very easy to talk to. Would definitely refer her.

After an injury, my doctor told me ice and ibuprofen for my sprained right arm. No improvement. Went to see Dr. Coester who took one look, strapped my arm down and said "don't move it, you're on the table at 8AM." She found a bicep tendon rupture with only 2 small strands of tendon holding on to the muscle. After 2 hours of intense work, my arm was immobilized and soon was as good as new, even for lifting. I am now a professional pianist in Colorado Springs. This would not have been possible without what I consider the genius of Dr. Coester. I owe her everything. She is the absolute best you can find. THANK YOU, DR. LISA COESTER!!

Very condescending. Did not listen, made assumptions and acted as if I was crazy for suggesting I know my own body.

This doctor did not believe everything I told her about my pain after a rotator cuff surgery. From her notes I found that not only did she not believe me she also lied about tests she performed on my first visit as well as other things. I retore my rotator cuff during a knee replacement about one year after the rotator cuff surgery. I asked for an MRI and she told me that an MRI does not work well after a rotator surgery. That was a lie. I ended up with a referral for a shoulder replacement.

My husband saw Dr. Coester, and she didn't have the time of day to listen to him. She was very abrupt and had no compassion for the pain he was in. She didn't order any additional testing. She dismissed him as just having back pain which was a major misdiagnosis. He was later diagnosed with multiple myeloma by a different doctor.
