Dr. Lionel Anthony Henry

Lord knows I miss Dr. Henry. I haven't even found a good doctor for my kids to this day. But I'm so grateful and thankful that Dr. Henry took care of all 6 of my kids and that the staff was always helpful. I also miss Clair she was the best. She went out her way to give me her infant car seat when my premature son was given the wrong one. Her and the other lady from the hospital always knew me and all my kids and that made them feel like family. If this office ever opens again with a good doctor please let me know because good doctors are so hard to find. Love you all God bless ????????❤️????????

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Henry for 13 years. He is very informative and welling to help with anything in keeping her heathy.

I love Dr Henry and staff.

he has treated Abella nothing but gentle patience an care. He is a awesome guy! I was nervous because she is my first child but she's 4 now an he's been seeing her since she was a new born!!!! An no issues at all!!!

My kids love Dr.Henry , he listens pays attention and is very informative about any small child or adolescence ! Specialized in ADHD and autism ! Friendly staff and clean office ! Always on time , we never wait long to be seen ! He's definitely a keeper !

Dr. Henry is the BEST pediatrician! As an American expat moving around the world for work, we always look forward to coming home and our kids having a checkup with Dr. Henry. Our oldest is 24 now and he has the fondest memories of his pediatrician! Dr. Henry’s recommendation of dove soap helped with my sons sensitive skin. He has gone above and beyond with many frantic calls (I’m a mother of 4 - had my first child when I was 17) from white poop, asthma, to crazy rashes...he has always been there, listened, and provided excellent care (and with the right diagnosis). Dr. Henry has always made me feel 100% comfortable and confident with the course of treatment needed. He has always shown ME respect as a mother.....which is huge!! Hands down the BEST pediatrician! Love Dr Henry and staff. They are always helpful when I need help for the kids.

Dr. Henry was my children’s and now grandchildren’s pediatrician. He is a very wonderful, caring man who always goes above and beyond.

Dr Henry needs to hang it up! My doctor visits with him is super repetitive and it’s starting to seem scripted. As if he’s telling all of his patients the same thing. He referred me to use dove soap for my baby’s skin because he has eczema. The soap irritated and further damaged my baby skin. I told doctor Henry that the soap was no bueno for my baby’s skin. You won’t believe during our next appointment he suggested the same soap again. ????????‍♀️ The final straw was my last appointment, I told him that my baby had really low iron (as he should already know) as mentioned by the wic office. And asked if he could prescribe iron vitamins for my baby, he smoothly dismissed the request/concern and suggested that I feed him oatmeal with raisins. I have completely washed my hands with dr Henry and if anyone tries to refer to you to him runnnnnn!!!! Dr Henry needs to hang it up! wow... 4 star rating- totally floored. He has missed so many big diagnosis and failed children miserably. Last straw for me was a weekend emergency and when I called he told me that he was watching a football game and what was going on with my son wasn't that important. Well... after his surgery was completed we dropped Dr. Henry like a hot potato!

Best pediatrician ever! I haven't seen one that works like him and that makes sure to keep up with my children's health the way he do. Just love it!

Very friendly staff. Easily available for urgent appointments. Dr. Henry is very informative and ensure you understand your child's ailments and treatment. The best pediatrician in Tallahassee.

The worst place I've ever worked for as a medical Assistant worked there a week & she told me I waa no longer needed because I asked for time off which was 4mths away to take a trip & I was on a 120 days probation period which is 3 in a half months so I was way good to take off then his wife changed & said you have to be working with them for a year before you can take off which was bull & then she changed my pay talking about it was a mistake she made can you say rigged job & yea watch out for Claire too the white girl she will snitch on the low & she's very sneaky The worst place I've ever worked for as a medical Assistant worked there a week & she told me I waa no longer needed because I asked for time off which was 4mths away to take a trip & I was on a 120 days probation period which is 3 in a … More

RUN RUN RUN! I'm a 1st time mother & the first words that come to mind when I hear Dr. Henry.. DISMISSIVE, INCOMPASSIONATE, and UNPROFESSIONAL!! The staff sucks, the office is ancient & smells like mold. The nurse didn't even know how to give my baby shots! The last straw was last Friday after I picked my daughter up from daycare. I called the office to see if I cld bring her by. She had eye boogers, fever and fatigue. 1st they refused me service and tried to diagnose my baby over the phone saying that it was an allergic reaction. I opposed and Claire told me they wld squeeze me in. Well I arrived, the door was locked, I called, Claire said she was coming.. NEVER DID! And then they took the phone off the hook! Dr Henry has prescribed my baby meds she was allergic to and dismissed several of my concerns about my child's health. He abuses his title and will look at your child and "think" he knows the answer. Great doctor. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He became our pediatrician beginning with our son, who is now 18. We have 2 other children now with him as well. He has answered questions not only concerning medical things; but, also developmental and educational things concerning my kids. He strives to offer natural solutions, if any, when dealing with illness; but, does not hesitate to offer medicinal solutions, if needed. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

The best pediatrician, wait time is under 15 mins, he answers all my questions and spotted my baby skin condition and prescribed her a cream that started to work immediately. The other place we went to just keep recommending over the counter creams that did not work. They scheduled her next appointment, unlike the last place that told us to call a week in advance to schedule. Flexible scheduling, always available. Love that I see the actual doctor and not a nurse. I highly recommend him! My girls see Dr. Henry. They are on Medicaid. He is the best doctor we have found that takes Staywell Medicaid in Tallahassee. He helped us find the right, affordable medicine for my oldest daughter's bladder issue and always gets the kids in if they are sick.

My daughter and I love DR. Henry! He takes time watching how your child behaves. He takes time reviewing your child's file BEFORE he enters the room, and he takes time completing the documentation BEFORE you leave. He is very kind and thorough. He was very understanding when I had to stop breast feeding at just 2 months after my daughter was born (I developed health problems) and was very carefull with teaching me about her asthma when she developed that at 2 years old. I am a young mother and he taught me very well and the staff was alway curtious. I'm writing this review because we moved away and I wish I had a pediatrition as nice as he is. Thanks Dr. Henry!
