They always make me wait AT LEAST an hour, even if I get the earliest/ first appointment. Ruins your plans for the entire day, makes you late for work. You can only make the appointment through phonecall, which isn’t great. The doctor is always in such a hurry to get the appointment over with. Dr. Lino Fernandez was recommended to me by a coworker. He is THE BEST, he listens to your concerns, he goes over your medication and shows he cares about the patient well being and answer any questions. I Am So happy I took my friend recommendation. Thank you Dr.

The doctor’s office is irresponsible. I submit paperwork and they don’t fill it out. They don’t submit authorization timely to the insurance companies. They are rude and unresponsive.

This man saved my life, and continues to do so. Not only is he experienced and knowledgeable... but he is kind, gentle and understanding.

I love the service and stuff . They are very patient and always welcome everyone - they call you a day in advance to confirm your appoiment and work with you for scheduling.. Great doctor as well! ????

I've been visiting Dr. Fernandez for ~10 years. Have had a great experience with them. Sometimes the wait is a pain but mostly fine. They give a lot less hassle then some other Doctors offices i have visited.

So kind, humorous and understanding. He’s saved my life over and over again, at every appointment. The in-house psychologist Iris is also amazing.

Little to no questions asked about me or my mental status. Massive wait times and zero listening. Great prescription of the basic drugs but I can’t say they know me. I asked for what I know works for me and they ordered it, albeit after a massive wait time. Super disappointed, especially during a time of heightened emotional pressure on us all. No questions about how I’m doing... really??? Thankfully I’m on, but imagine those who aren’t coping well...

I took my son gor a visitar with lino Fernández and had a great impresión of him. He order an MRI and his Office gave me a prescription for IT. When I took my son for the exam. The prescription was incompleta. IT needed yo say with or without contrast. The hospital and myself called the Dr's Office but no answer. Called for a week before they returned my call and said they would fax IT to me as I wanted to make sure I got IT myself before rescheduling the exam. I was given an appointment 3 wekks before at 11:30, I, as usual, arrived early at 11:20, waited for an hour and there was still a gentleman waiting ahead of me. Horrible!!! I do not recommend this place because when I asked about the wait time I was told I would be seen by a nurse practitioner! I am sorry but I am not paying insurance to be seen by a nurse practitioner, I anticipated this appointment in order to see a doctor and never saw him as I walked out after 1 hour and 20 minute wait! I wish that I could give this doctor's office a negative 100 for such horrible service and professionalism. Never have I been treated so unfair and humiliated in my life to the extreme of feeling sick to my stomach and stressed. Dr. Lino Fernandez had been my psychiatrist since '16, honestly this office as so many issues, extreme long waits, medicine not sent to the pharmacy, working around their schedule (they leave for vacation and don't care about patient’s no being seen while they're out) or trying to get scheduled for an appointment period. Number 1 ISSUE: Never ask them for paperwork/ important documents to be completed! They can't even issue a simple letter of emotional support for your pet which is ridiculous. These people lose your forms or find errors on them to delay the process which makes no sense, just do it right the first time. This office is made up of 3-4 people at the most but you would think an army works here of how messy, unorganized and rude they are. It all came down when I asked for a form to be filled out by Dr. Fernandez. Laurine Mejia (not sure what she's there for but just useless) didn't let me fax over these documents with time, advised me Dr. Fernandez had to see me and that all they needed was one week to have this completed. I did everything I was told to do however they couldn’t seem to send it complete and to top it off TWICE? A lot happened in between which was so frustrating but no one could call me back, no one could give an update and the outcome of the necessity of this information just caused me tremendous damage. During this entire situation not once could I get the so-called office manager “IRIS RAMOS” to call me yet when it came for my follow up visit where she had the nerve to sit with me and argue. I came in as usual, my plan was to speak directly with Dr. Fernandez about the entire situation I encounter and bring in Iris but when I signed in I was asked to pay extra fees, they wanted me to pay for sending my paperwork wrong two times in a row. I refused, I was very disappointed of how they managed the entire situation and wanted an apology and the fees waived. I couldn’t have expected what came next, truly shocked. One full hour of back and forth, making up lies just to get money out of me? Seriously, I’m your patient, I come here for treatment, “this is mental health” and you’re here treating me like I’m wrong and you’re right? I can’t explain to you how horrible this person is but can tell you to avoid this office. I would have paid these fees if this person would have had a bit more character, sympathy and showed how important patients are to them but that’s was not the case. She was just lame when I express my dissatisfaction, not one of my arguments did she accept and this woman calls herself a therapist? I really hope Dr. Fernandez knows what’s going on in his office. I didn’t get to see him, had no choice but to leave, her harassment was too much to handle. Never in my life have I gone through something like this, hope this experience avoids anyone else from going through a situation this this. They will read this and so you know I will make this public as much as I can. Everytime I come I have to wait. For the last appointment I expliained that my work schedule changed and the only time I can come in is during break. Because of my inconvenient schedule they booked me 3 weeks ahead. Still when I arrived they couldnt take me in. I waited for 40 minutes, then asked for a refund so I could go back to work. Full disclosure this is my doctor, therefore Ive been without my medication for the past month. No particular problems with the doctor himself, just his office. The receptionist is a joke, they love making sure they have absolutely no blame in any situation. As soon as I called over a concern they instantly just start listing off excuses for whatever happened instead of offering ANY solutions. Its honestly ridiculous.

I like this Dr because he is extremely careful and conservative prescribilng the medications that he suggests. Even though he is asked to prescribe a medication, if he think is not the right choice, he will take the time to explain the reasons for his denial. So far I've been following Dr. Fernandez for many years and I get exactly what I need. His care and his knowledge is out of this world. I feel great, I feel balanced, I feel my self thanks to Dr. Lino Fernandez and his staff.Great team!! ??

This guy doesn't practice psychiatry, he hands out medication without caring or taking any time at all with you. Complete sweatshop operation. If you need pills easy without any real questions, this is your place. The staff is completely disorganized, then 3 years later I start getting bills again that they claim are from what my insurance would not pay, along with threats of sending me to collections if I don't pay an amount <$100. Total joke.

In terms of psychiatry, Dr. Fernandez's practice does a mediocre job. However, his front office staff are very unprofessional- they usually have a bad attitude and have incorrectly filed my insurance multiple times

Edit: I have been back again because it is very hard to find someone who takes my insurance, and the front desk person told me that it is not uncommon for folks to have to wait 3-4 before being seen. I would not suggest this office if you have ADHD as they seem to have very limited training on it. The therapist in particular did not seem to know that ADHD could cause issues with emotional regulation or anxiety. Definitely do not go here if you an an LGBT person. The therapist is transphobic and awful and will say really harmful things to you like that your gender isn’t real if it’s not legal (even though therapists are usually part of the process of legally changing your gender). I have never dealt with such an unprofessional office let alone doctors office. They went on vacation for a week without notifying me July 4th, leaving me with no refills for my medication. I called and left numerous messages, there was no emergency or alternate contact or a notification on their outgoing message that they were on vacation, so I actually went to the office to find it black and locked up and that's how I learned they were out of office. After being off my medication for over a day, I had to go to my primary doctor who gave me my prescription. Weeks later I never heard back from the office even when they did return, showing no concern for the fact that I had left messages saying I was out of medication. I called and told them I wanted my records to be transferred over to another doctor and to myself and how upset I was about everything. They assured me they would do this and call my last round of prescriptions into my pharmacy and that was 5 days ago!!! They still have not done any of it and give me the run around every time I call. If you don't already have mental health issues, dealing with this doctors office is enough to make you have them! Great staff and the doctor is really nice and knowledgeable. Would give 5 stars but Parking in the building is a pain. There is plenty of parking on Coral way just one block over so it's not too bad. Also there is a wait but every doctor I've been to has had a wait.

I have been to a lot of doctors here in miami and i must say Dr Fernandez is the best of the best he has never rush my visit he actually takes the time to resolve the issues and my life has changed thanks to Dr Fernandez , the staff is very helpful and making appointments is an easy process ....

He's a nice doctor to talk to. Personable. Willing to listen and provide some comfort/advice. It's nice that he will spend more than a few minutes talking to me. Would recommend.

The staff is very kind and caring and thorough. Dr. Lino is a professional and a gentleman, he is very caring and humble. It has been a blessing to be at this office. Don't be afraid to reach out-you'll be blessed.

I've been here a couple of times in the past couple of months. My visit started with a different clinician before I saw the doctor. He seems to genuinely care, which is a nice change. Nice office, everyone tries to help. I'd recommend him. Oh, and the therapist is nice too.

I am so greatful to Dr Fernandez for helping me with my chronic condition. After visiting a long list of psychiatrists, he was the one who discovered the right treatment for me on the first try. After three years seeing him I have not felt any symptoms again. I love life!!!! I love Dr. Fernandez!!!!

Don't go there, they only want your money, once they get it they start avoiding you, even if it's urgent.

His practice is unprofessional and impersonal. After an hour wait, I was quickly ushered through to a doctor and then to Dr. Lino Fernandez. The staff was friendly and helpful. The doc made me feel very comfortable and so did his assistant. Would recommend him and the wait was minimum.

There is ample parking in the garage, and the staff are kind and professional. The doctor is insightful and very nice as well. I've never had a problem rescheduling an appointment, and appreciate that they call you 24 hours in advance to confirm (there is a fee for canceling within 24 hours, so they definitely look out for patients and assist those that manage a tight schedule or forget about appointments). Been here a few times now. Dr. Fernandez always takes the time to answer my questions, fully explain everything to me, and listens to how I'm doing. I used to go to a psychiatrist that would just write a script within 5 minutes of seeing me....let's just say I'm doing a whole lot better now.

Dr. Fernandez Takes the time to listen. Some times the wait is a little longer than others because he is doing his job. When I needed the time to be heard he was there, now that I am better I understand that others are been heard as well. It's not all about me! HORRIBLE OFFICE!! I chose the doctor because of his good ratings... I lost my job and insurance. The manufacture has a program to offer free medication but that doctors office needs to fill out a form. They refused to fill it out without a $160 visit. When I asked to speak with Dr. Fernandez so that he could personally make the decision, I was told it was "impossible" because he does not make personal phone calls. When you are in need the most, they are not there!
