Dr. Linkston Thomas Cryer JR.

Nobody wants a root canal but if you’re going to have one done, this is the place. From knowing I needed one done to it being done was less than a week. Pretty short wait time in my books. I’m an anxiety riddled person when it comes to the dentist but this experience was one of the best I’ve had in my adult life. 10/10 definitely recommend.

The staff and Dr Cryer are so kind. The office is clean. They have a third party company that makes it easy to set up payment plan for what your insurance doesn’t cover. A great plan for someone who gets nervous at dentist.

Took my Eldest son to him today after trying so hard to find a dentist in Columbus that accepts Adult disability Georgia medicaid. He was kind, professional and talked to me about what he needed done . The front office was was welcoming and nice. If you want a dentist who is kind and patient and knowledgeable I'd go to Dr. Cryer.

Another great visit to Dr.Cryer. This dentist is the most personable, professional dentist. No lectures, just friendly, courteous service. I would recommend him for all your dental needs.

Like many, I had a prior, traumatic dental experience. Needless to say, I was terrified, absolutely shaken lol. The outcome? Read on to find out! I'd spent about two months trying to find an in-network provider that wasn't booked until April, to no avail. Having gone to an urgent care for relief, a staff member recommended Dr. Cryer and said he'd take of me. I called and was able to schedule an appointment quickly. I visited the office as a new patient, needing serious help. In all my terror, I honestly felt as ease before I even met the provider. His staff was professional, yet calm and relatable; they made me laugh and were really good at taking my mind off of being anxious. I wasn't able to have any work done that day, but that didn't stop Dr. Cryer or his staff; they offered me another appointment for the coming Saturday! I was shocked, and so glad. My nerves had really gotten to me the day of, but Dr. Cryer and his awesome hygienist (a really funny, kind, compassionate guy) made me feel heard and comfortable before, during, and after my procedure. It was over before I knew it and took less than an hour! And let me just say that what I needed done would've probably taken another provider a lot longer to complete. I'm just so thankful and relieved lol. My fears are put to rest! I can't express enough gratitude to Dr. Cryer and staff. If you're anything like me and can't bear the thought of going to the dentist, call this office. You won't be disappointed.

So it's new years eve eve and every dentist is closed. I found Dr Cryer. Absolutely wonderful. He meet me at the office and just jumped in to make sure I was not in pain while he did the extractions. Highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Cryer and his staff took very good care of me. On a Friday afternoon he stayed late to help me out with all the pain. I would recommend him to anyone. He’s very compassionate and friendly.

I called due to a broken tooth with an infection and they got me in the next morning first thing. I have horrible teeth from a chemo medication and had several broken teeth. I couldn’t get them removed that day due to insurance, however they called that afternoon and had everything worked out with insurance and booked me the next Morning! Gina at the front desk is beyond amazing and stay’s on top of everything! The Dental assistance Chris is extremely pleasant, sweet, and attentive. Dr Cryer was beyond amazing! Through the entire procedure he talk’s you through it, make’s sure you are okay, extremely high lifting and friendly. Very professional and knew what he was doing. I didn’t even realize he had gotten all 5 teeth done and gave me my antibiotics plus instructions. He made sure that I had information for a referral to get a piece that I need to replace the teeth. Came in beacause my surgical extraction was 3 weeks away at my primary care dentist. Was in alot of pain and was in need of immediate surgical extractions due to infection. They were very straightforward and open about what I needed done and was able to meet the cost I was going to pay at my primary care. Efficient and quality customer service. Best dentist yet! I didn’t feel a bit of pain thanks to Dr. Cryer performing my root canal and crown. He’s good people and has good people working for him. Definitely gonna keep seeing Dr. Cryer while I live in Columbus.

I went here today to get a tooth pulled. These guys are great, at least they were to me. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are for. But I had a good visit. He numbed up the area and when I said I could still feel it, he stopped and applied more until I didn't feel it. I had a dental emergency in the middle of the day one day, and they were able to see me right away. I have anxiety and severely when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Cryer was so comforting and reassuring throughout the whole process. He Constantly checked to see if I was okay and also is very good at reading body language (he could tell when I could start feeling something and would stop and give me more novacaine). Gave me procedures I didnt need, took advantage of the fact that I was young and didn't know anything. Definitely will tell you you need a root canal when you dont. I do not reccomend.

Me and my girlfriend went in to get a few of her teeth seen about and he was going to charge 800 dollars per tooth and when we were about to walk out they dropped the price By 400 dollars and told her how important it was to do it now basically scaring her. 2 phone calls later we find out that tooth extraction is 120 max of 280. I had a terrible toothache once and just walked in. They took me immediately and pulled my tooth and the price was reasonable too. It’s hard to believe some of the reviews I am reading. I am on here now trying to figure out a way to schedule an appointment for my sister online.

He tried pulling a tooth he couldnt not get it out, and now a year later my tooth inside of my jaw bone is cracked from him and my gum is now ripped open from poor stitching when he did get the other tooth out. Horrible dentist shouldnt even be allowed to practice, disgusting. Oh and lets not forget how you are taking wayyyyyyyyyy more money out of MY BANK ACCOUNT than your supposed to be. If you want some fraudulent work done, then use this dentist. If you overpay, normal offices would pay you back, not them. If I could leave a 0 star I would first of all the man at the front desk that does the insurance information was the one that got me out the waiting and took my X-rays ! There was no one in the office except myself, my boyfriend , the doctor and the front desk guy ! They told me I needed a crown. Root canal , and a extraction and immediately begin to quote prices ! Very unprofessional ! I saw on other reviews that they were money hungry and this is true ! The doctor had on dirty scrubs with bleach stains on them it just was not a positive vibe ! I just recently seen Dr. Cryer for a extraction and root canal. I read the reviews prior to going like many that read reviews I was hesitant. However I'm glad that he had me come in on a Sunday yes you read that correctly a Sunday and took the pain I was having away. He was very professional and kept asking me if I was ok and not feeling anything. I was also concerned with billing as it was mentioned in reviews as well no funny business there either, housekeeping isn't a strong suit here and it could be a lil cleaner. The tools that were used were however. I would give him 5 stars except I'm a firm believer in we all have room for improvement. I believe his would be following up with your cleaning staff to ensure its clean. That's what most expect when going to a doctor's office. This is an in-network (UC, in my case) Dentist that will over charge your out of pocket expences. If you've gone here, GET A SECOND OPINION before agreeing to any procedures.

Left fragments of teeth in my mouth and was told he took out all my teeth, so I could get dentures. He refused to fixed the fragments he left and the tooth, been told until fixed I can't get dentures. I have to sleep with a cpap machine, I wake up every two hours because of the air lock on mask, from hurting fragments and left tooth. Looks like I am going to hire a lawyer.
