I've been with Dr. Wingo for a decade, and he's always kind, professional, helpful, and thorough. I can't speak to the negatives I'm reading from a few others, but I can speak to my experience with him--he's been terrific. :)

Dr Wingo and staff are arrogant and uncaring. No social distancing Dr Wingo did not like that he was critized by a mere patient. Don't go here unless you like being treated like a number.

Dr. Wingo is wonderful. He corrected a mis-diagnosis I had received from an optometrist, discovered what the real problem was, which turned out to be something very simple and easy to handle. He saved me from unnecessary surgery. I can't thank him enough.

great! Extremely well run office. Dr. Wingo takes time to explain your condition and is very thorough. I am delighted he is on my health insurance plan.....

Be ready to wait wait and wait a little longer! They do not respect appointments times.

I have been going to Dr Wingo for 13 years. He has been so attentive and professional in my eye needs. He has performed cataract surgery on both eyes and treats my glaucoma very effectively. I would recommend him to anyone needing eye care.

Dr Wingo is extremely professional, caring and thorough. He has been an ideal Dr. I trust his judgement and he answers all of my questions until I'm satisfied. I recommend him highly.

Went to get an updated check on my vision and cataract. Needed new glasses and contacts. I received a pair of glasses that do not improve my vision. When I explained this 3 times at follow up visits, I am always told, wait 3months and come back for a recheck. I hear them say that to everyone. I paid over $700 for my glasses and can't use them. It's a disgrace.

Dr.Wingo is a very good Dr. Very threrull,considerate,and lets you know what he's checking for when putting anything in your eyes.And he explains everything to you so you understand everything. And the staff is wonderful too!! No long wait time!!

My experience with my 5 year old was horrible. The staff would ask what the picture was and could be a milk carton, but the staff would correct my 5 year old by saying "housey". I think from any parent from a professional if going to correct a child the least they could do is pronounce what the picture is properly. Also when given a new prescription for glasses, found out they gave her what an adult would need not a child. Same a lot of time and money take any child under 8 to shands.

Have always had a pleasant appointment. He explains diagnosis and procedures so I can understand what is going on with my sight. His staff is pleasant and professional and they also explain test that are done and help answer questions. Never had a bad experience.
