I’m at the stage of pre diabetes and slightly high cholesterol. The doctor’s advice….lose weight. If it is that simple, then I would not be in this condition. No suggestion of a dietician or weight treatment. Instead her method is to wait until you have the diagnosis, then treat. What about preventative interventions?

I booked a virtual appointment for Dr. Howard for today. My confirmation email and text message said that I would receive video link for my visit. My appointment was supposed to be for 2pm and I had not received this link by this morning. I called the number at 1pm to find out why I had not received the link and the receptionist told me that she would forward my information to their office and message them about my video link. I waited for about 40 minutes and still had not received the link so I called back. The same receptionist told me that their office is forwarding their calls to her because they are about to leave for the day but she would message them again. I was extremely confused at this point because it clearly states that their office closes at 5pm. My husband and I decided to drive to the office ourselves to find out what was going on. We get there to find a note taped to their suite saying their office is closed from December 26 to January 2 for the holidays! So if the office is closed for that length of time why was I able to book the appointment in the first place?

Dr Howard is great. She really listens.

Today, 09/01/2020 I was refused to be seen by Doctor Lillian Howard. Like most places, I had my temperature checked prior to entering. They had a survey of COVID-19 questions, which I answered yes to one of the questions. Yes, to lost of smell and taste, I explained to the young lady that I tested positive for COVID-19 in late March and weeks later I had sinus surgery. It wasn’t until I had sinus surgery that I lost my sense of smell and taste. It’s not clear if the loss of smell and taste is related to COVID-19 or my surgery. After checking with the doctor, the young lady said they would have to reschedule my appointment and wouldn’t be able to see me for two-weeks. Which would mean the third rescheduled appointment. I explained to her that I had my NEGATIVE COVID-19 test and antibody results for their review and records. I’m still unclear as to what they were expecting after two-weeks. I understand business policies and guidelines, but I wasn’t advised to bring another negative test. Perhaps my experience today doesn’t fall under discrimination, but I certainly felt discriminated. Suggestion to Doctor Lillian Howard: Reach out to your patients prior to their appointment because most of us take time from work to see a doctor and a girl must prepare for these visits (if you know what I mean). First time seeing Dr.Howard. I had been having earaches so decided to go see her. Dr. Howard and assistant Annette cleaned out earwax along with the end of a q-tip out. Immediately after I could hear again and last night I felt great no pain.She did what another Dr. couldn't do. I will FOREVER have her as my Dr.!!!

Dr. Howard and her staff are excellent! I have been going to Dr. Howard for 12 years and she and her staff always treat me with respect, take the time to answer any questions I may have and make sure that any specialists Dr. Howard refers me to have athe appropriate orders from her. I highly recommend Dr. Howard.

The doctor and staff were very attentive to my medical needs and with evaluating my reason for making the appointment. The physicians assistant moved me very quickly from the waiting room for initial entry of physical data. After that the doctor was almost immediately there for evaluation, consultation and presentation of a plan to address the problem.

I am highly disappointed with the waiting time. I waited for 55 mins, and it was frustating. I feel it's of no use to make the appointment. I had to cancel my other commitments for the day. Patients time should be respected at all costs.

Dr. Howard has been my Dr for the longest time and has been extremely helpful, not only in my health matters but a friend when I have suffered life let downs. She is a Fantastic Doctor as well as a Tremendous God sent Person that every should know in their life time . She is a DOCTOR that heals illnesses and the spirit.

You are a threat to others. You people home time after time, throwing antibiotics at them and saying “give them more time,”’as the“sinus infection” didn’t improve. Thanks to you, my mom is fighting long and hard in ICU with double pneumonia, due to COVID19; it’s gotten so bad, she was administered the anti-malaria drug and she now cannot breathe without supplied oxygen ; hospital physicians are shocked you didn’t admit her during week 1. You let her deteriorate for 2 weeks. You were killing her. Other physicians are still trying to fix the damage you allowed to happen. And you actually still managed to stoop ever lower and try to CYA by making notes that didn't even match the timeline of the scans, stating you you told my mom her lungs looked bad. Blatant lie. I am concerned about your high ratings, because you have people that actually trust you. You shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine. Do you even know that ibuprofen is awful when fighting COVID19??? Because your “COVID19 expert” with infinite wisdom, told my mom to take it. Thank God I have friends that are nurses that told her to stop immediately. I hope you think of my mom with every breath you take. Because each one you take in, you took one away from her. This is on YOU. FOLKS THAT READ THIS, I WOULD ADVISE YOU SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE. I don’t have to know you to want you to be well. But please avoid this doctor. She made more than a small oversight. She sent my mom home to die. Simple as that. And she’ll do it again. I pray that she never be able to lay another her hand on a patient.

I am so sad to give this review but I have tried to see Dr. Howard for two months. I know I can go to a clinic but the fact is, she is my primary doctor. I had set an appointment and was a few minutes late and they wouldn’t see me. There was a doctor there but said no. It’s just super inconvenient when the only available appointments are st 11 and 3. I work full time and go to school so my days are super long and those times don’t work for everyone. It just makes me very upset that they don’t care enough to help their patients. Dr. Howard is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, it appears she has become a victim of her own success. Since joining the Memorial-Herman group, it has become increasingly difficult to book an appointment. After nearly 20 years as her patient, I am now told that yearly physicals will only be done at 8:30 a.m. It is with great regret that I have to find another doctor; getting a yearly check-up should not include fighting rush-hour traffic on 290 as a requirement. So long, Dr. Howard.

I worked for Dr. Howard years ago and she is an amazing physician. She carefully assesses patients and thoroughly answers any questions they have. She is definitely a patient advocate and her patients absolutely love her.

Doctor Howard is one of the best. She takes her time with you and shows great care.

My family and I have been going to her over 25 years. She is amazing, as a person and doctor. Dr. Howard is extremely knowledgeable and caring. She has an excellent bedside manner and knows the questions to ask to get her patients the adequate care they need. There is no other doctor my family trusts more than her. Even my dad who is afraid of all dentists and doctors likes her. That is saying something. It is because she treats her patients like family. We highly recommend her. She is an Angel.
