I've been seeing Dr.Tondo , since 1998, He is a very knowledgeable caring Dr, To me he is the best

I have been going to Dr Tondo all of my Adult life and I Love him to pieces. He is a very good doctor and truly cares for his patients.

Went to Dr. Tondo years and years ago but it was very hard to get in for an appointment. I tried calling today to make an appointment as his office is local to me but I was informed once you leave his office and visit another doctor "He will not take you back". Dr. Tondo is professional, listens to my medical issues, and is very patient with me. He's always respectful, courteous, and well-versed in his profession. Give it, Doctors don't know every answer. The human body is an amazing maze but when it warrants more studies, MRI's, scans, blood work etc., he does it. I'm not a patient to go to the doctor for every little pain and ache there is like many on here that gave a low rating. When I'm really in pain or have an ailment, Dr. Tondo will get to the root cause without putting me on a bunch of meds that may cause more harm than good. I appreciate that. Yes, Dr. Tondo is a very good doctor. I just hate the fact he will probably retire within the next 10 years and I have to find another doctor. Dr. Tondo has been my primary care physician for thirty years, ever since I moved to Troutman. I was one of his first patients when he established his practice on Perth Church Road (in what is now a chiropractor's office). I can still recall his bedside manner the first time I met him. He joked: "There's only two reasons why a young man your age comes to see a doctor. Your girlfriend or wife told you to, or you're scared. Which is it with you?" Dr. Tondo and I are both natives of New York City, and we bonded immediately. Honestly, I don't believe the negative ratings given to Dr. Tondo. They describe someone who is not the caring physician that I"ve known and who has cared for me for over half my life. Wonderful Dr. listens to you and has a wealth of knowledge. He also has a great bedside manner. I've been seeing him for over 20 year's and all my family also.

Great Doctor & Staff!

He didn't ever seem to care about what I told him. He didn't care about what medication had and hadn't worked for me. I had to settle with what he gave me, even if it didn't work. He had called me in a perscription, that I had been off of for years, then tried to blame me even after I had told the pharmacy that it was wrong. I eventually had to report him to the medical board.

Dr. To do is a wonderful, detailed oriented, caring doctor. He explains your condition very well. Great bedside manners. He knows his area of expertise as a primary doctor very we.. GREAT DOCTOR. Highly recommend him.

Only seen him, because he was the only one who accepted Medicaid. He always made me feel like he never believed anything I said. He wouldn't do anything for my pain. I was on anxiety meds that didn't work, in 2016, so he changed them. Those didn't work so he changed them again. I have been on these for over a year. I rarely take them, but keep them in case I need them. Well a couple of months ago, I noticed after I picked my prescriptions up, there was a bottle of the original anxiety meds je put me on. I told the pharmacy and they said that Tondo had called them in. I was recieving both meds, because that's what he prescribed and he and the pharmacy, should have told me not to get both and the pharmacy should jave said something to tondo. Well, I don't take the old prescription. Anyway, I tried to get the ones the were correct filled, to make the story shorter, tondo dropped me as a patient, because he wrote me a perscription that I DID NOT ask for, but got filled, because he ordered it. Now, I am worried that I am going to get in trouble for his mistake. A good doctor would have read my chart and a good pharmacy would have said something to the doctor after I questioned it and if I was not supposed to have them both. I just thought, since neither worked well, that he was giving me a combination of the both. I am not a pharmacist or drug addict, so I didn't know. I am supposed to ne able to rely on a doctor that gets paid a lot of money, to do his job right and rely on the pharmacist to notice what I am mot supposed to be mixing. I have been going to see Dr.Tondo for years! My mother and also my brother she's him my dad was seeing him also.My dad WOKE UP one day had heartburn bad he called tondo,and he put him on a heartburn pill,next day my dad had a massive heart attack and died.Now he cut me off my colonipins,for no reason at all and didn't even tell me ahead of time.And it could had gave me a .seazure!!!Dr Tondo is Always been good to me. But now that he is about to retire...I'm trying everything I can to get my mother and brother and my wife to leave him find another doctor!....If you looking for a caring Dr.you better look elswere . Receptionist or front desk office not friendly at all. So hard to get and appointment. They always promise to return my call if there's an available but never did call me. My husband even told Dr. Tondo about the situation and promise in front of my husband that they will call me....but till now nothing. So disappointed. No complain about Dr.Tondo,
