Letisha Annette Sneed

I’m not a fan of Dr Sneed. I’ve only seen her and another staff member in the office. My child Situations, I had numerous questions about my child. As any parent, you would be concerned about your child and find out all options possible to ensure your child remains healthy. With that being said, I ask questions that a doctor should know pertaining to medical conditions. I’ve had to call numerous times for referrals to be sent and there was nothing ever sent. I would get in contact with that staff(when they do answer) and they would tell me it’s been sent or currently in the process and it never was sent. I kept calling and at some point I said forget it but the only way I could get it done was if they sent the referral I couldn’t schedule the appointments. I then got a letter in the mail stating she no longer takes my child insurance but come to find out that wasn’t true. If my concerns as a parent caused you to let my child go is ridiculous and YOU are horrible. But I’m not surprised because she could never give a clear answer about things and maybe it was meant to happen that way because I like clarity about things and not having to be feel like I’m bothering a doctor with concerns about my child.

We LOVE Dr. Sneed. We have been bringing our four kids to see her since our first baby was born 8 years ago. We have never had a negative experience and we have never waited long in the waiting room. The nurses have always been friendly. Belinda is the sweetest and so professional. A professional office staff is a big deal to me, aside from the doctor and nurse and we always receive great service.

I recently chose Dr. Sneed because she had excellent reviews and I’ve always loved the stone oak area. While I was pregnant I was always in good hands. I should have read these google reviews and not only on the DR because I see everyone having the same similar situation. Because of the winter storm and some sort of glitch I never received my daughters Medicaid ID and anybody that I had called couldn’t tell me her ID# and the 30 days were up of her being under my insurance. Well right after I received a call an hour before my 5 week old appointment , Tiffany called and canceled it because there was no way of billing her appointments. When I expressed my concerns to her because it was my daughters one month check up and her hep b shot , she kind of let out a small laugh and said there’s nothing they can do. Mind you my daughter is approved for Medicaid it was just waiting to somehow receive her Medicaid ID# without 211 because they’ve been down since the storm. I called my insurance and they were super helpful, I was assured that she is covered for 90days if needed and that my situation was acceptable for that 90 day coverage. The representative called dr sneed office to let them know and Leonard ( Leo not sure already forgot ) did not believe a word the representative was saying. The representative had me on hold while making that call and then told me he was sending them proof through fax because it is Medicaid guidelines and it’s in their handbook. They still would not accept seeing her. I understand everyone wanting to get paid but come on, this is a newborn baby and they were denying her service because of this situation even though my insurance provider said she can be covered 90days. Their going against guidelines and that’s just awful. Thankfully this happened because I will no longer take my daughter to this office. I found another great office that a friend recommended to me and they accepted her under the 90day coverage PLUS they were able to provide me her Medicaid ID as well just by looking her up in the system by name and birthday. The Dr , super sweet . but obviously she needs to work on straightening her staff as all these other people on these reviews are saying and just be a little more compassionate about first time parents who have a hard time with Medicaid because we know how difficult the system is but it was obvious my daughter was approved it was just a waiting game for the ID# and if they were more understanding and patient , they would have received her Medicaid ID cause I somehow got it just a day later with the help from another office staff that we are more comfortable with now . I love that she is very patient and kind with kids. She also is very quick and responsive to answering any calls and questions.

We had been going to this office for over a year. The Dr was kind and we never once had an issue with her...but, once I had my youngest daughter there was an issue with the office manager and it has been 5 months and it has not been resolved. As a parent of a newborn needing to be seen soon after being born I feel like we were taken advantaged of and lied to in order to receive a payment out of our pockets that day knowing our daughter was already covered as a newborn. We called the insurance company and they said to go ahead and pay since they WOULD NOT see my newborn until we paid. The insurance company let us know we would be able to be reimbursed for the money we had paid...well if I would have known what was about to happen I would have just saved myself the money and taken my newborn elsewhere to avoid the anxiety and frustrations I have 5 almost 6 months later. I could see if this was just an isolated incident but if there are multiple people saying the same thing about the same person there is surely some truth there. I’ve had my insurance company call relentlessly to get this resolved for my family and I and the last woman that helped me told me the office manager whom she spoke to was rude, did not know proper billing protocol and she also advised me that he was super rude and wouldn’t speak to her after a certain point. I’ve called numerous times, and every time I’m met with a passive aggressive tone. I paid out of pocket for services when multiple people have advised me that I should have NEVER had to. This issue needs to be resolved in the coming weeks. I am willing to tell anyone that listens about this situation and ensure that others know what kind of office you are running there. Guess again, Dr. Sneed. We always paid out of pocket to you and that was never the issue. The issue we had with your staff is their unwillingness to work with the insurance company. Also, our complaints about how your staff behaved are corroborated by the insurance company. By the way, the amount that your office sent to collections was for $5, which was then somehow increased to $15. We gladly paid the nuisance fee. Buyer beware. Guess again, Dr. Sneed. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. Doctor is good but that guy Leno is the worst. The staff does not have it together and even after we are done with them we are not. Their bully Leno tried to berate me and was very demeaning. I had to get my husband involved to get him to stop. Had an outstanding balance that I rather pay a debt collector than to ever have to speak to them again. One has composure in front of children, but to be treated this way and have you on the verge of tears in front of the children is abhorrent. I'd rather leave than be treated this way and continue to expose my child to this kind of behavior. Never have I felt so strongly about a doctor's office that it warranted a review to warn others. Office manager is rude and puts money before patient care. There are many options for pedestrians in the stone oak area. I plan to take both of my kids out of this office and move them to a office that is more patient focused. I agree with pays for the services that we receive. What I do not agree to pay for is mid management of care. Not providing enough medications between visits and making us pay you to sign a prescription is petty and mismanagement of care. The cost is not the issue is the principal. I will pay more to do business with a provider that has a good practice. My suggestion is to look at your policies and hire a competent office manager who knows how to speak to your patients and customers. I found Dr. Sneed last minute by chance. I was going to take my kids to another Dr.s office one morning and did not feel very good about going back to this Dr. I looked up the reviews about the long wait and office staff and I didn't want to settle for the same treatment we had just previously dealt with. I had been to this Dr. years ago but the reviews didn't make it sound good. I called up Dr. Sneed's office last minute and they were able to get us in. From the front desk, to the nurse or MA to Dr. Sneed, they were all great! Dr. Sneed answered all my questions, asked me good questions, was great with my kids and I just felt like she was genuine. I've only been once so far and I hope all the rest of our visits are just as great. As of now, I'd recommend her and her office to anyone who needs a new pediatrician! My children have both seen Dr. Sneed for almost ten years now. She has always been very attentive to our concerns and has never made me feel or my children feel unimportant. She has made incredible progress and growth throughout the years in her practice and we respect her for the care and concern she has provided to our children along the way. I have recommended her in many occasions as being the best pediatrician in San Antonio and will continue to do so. She's a wonderful and thorough doctor my daughter feels comfortable as a teenager going to her.

Dr.Letisha A Sneed, MD has been seen my son since we got back to San Antonio 2009. My son now 11yrs. and he's very conformable seeing his doctor. She responds quickly when needed and is very patient with children. Highly recommend her to anyone. She's a amazing doctor. Thank You Dr Sneed for everything you have done for my son.

We just had a Newborn baby. And wanted you to go to Dr. Letisha A. Sneed but when we got there they said the couldn't see my Daughter because she was not on my insurance. So I called my health insurance company and they said once they have her social they will back date her coverage and the doctors office should be fimilar with this procedure. The doctor office told me they still can't see her and we left. In the same parking lot we called another Doctor and she was seen the same day. Don't take you children her especially a newborn. You really need to speak to your receptionist; she's deterring people from your practice.

Dr sneed is a wonderful pediatrician. She responds quickly when needed and is very patient with children.

Love Dr. Sneed. We went to her 6 years ago when the doctor recommended to us by the hospital was dismissing some concerns we had about our premature newborn when she was discharged to us. Dr. Sneed has been my sons doctor from birth. She is calming, smart and a great communicator. She always puts our minds at ease and we look forward to visiting with her. Highly recommend her to anyone. We love Dr. Sneed. Lino is a wonderful medical assistant and he cares greatly about our son.
