Dr. Leroy Odom

My first visit had a great experience took his time aswer all my questions and concerns

Dr. Odom is a remarkable professional and gentle physician; his kindness and sensitivity compliment his medical skills and seamless approach; that we are each valued human beings sharing our humanity; regardless, of status, education or any difference; other than we are each unique creatures. Dr. Odom is a highly experienced well-educated physician, offering forty some years as both physician and ongoing scholar in several specialized areas; within which his research in Digestive & Hepatic Disorders are well-documented. His immediate and kind bedside manner proves both comforting and reassuring to we patients. he listens intently, asks questions, answers and explains patiently so one never feels rushed. Too, I have heard and noted hospital nursing, doctors and auxillary staff express praise, respect and fondness toward Dr. Odom- including his wonderful and gracious office staff.

Good doctor. The experience was positive. The doctor's office and hospital weren't on the same page as to the time of my procedure (a discrepancy of a half hour), but I'm not sure whose fault that was. It would be nice to be able to make copayments online. What year are we living in?

Worst doctor's visit ever. My exam consisted of him sitting 5 feet away from me at all times and not checking my eyes or the affected areas at all. I had tests done that he recommended which turned out to be useless. He never check the test nor the culture and left on Friday when I was expecting to get my results. Had to go to the ER because he was not attending me as my doctor. Never got a call from him or his office after that weekend as a follow-up. Worst doctor's visit ever. My husband had an appointment at 11:45 and it’s 1pm and we still waiting. Very slow and unprofessional. We will never come here again!!!! So sad I try to support my people but never again!????????

The phones never seemed to get an actual answer after my initial visit making me feel ignored during what feels to be urgent.

Dr. Odom is a very nice man, but I wouldn't recommend him for an urgent medical problem. You have to make an appointment to receive test results; you can't get them over the phone or electronically. I had to wait 30 minutes in my last appointment and he didn't even acknowledge or apologize for making me wait. When you have intestinal problems you want to feel a sense of urgency and convenience from your doctor. Dr. Odom is old school in the way he treats his patients.

He has a good bedside manner, and explains well.
