Mr. Leonard Vincent Covello

Dr. Covello is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I was referred to Dr. Covello by my cardiac specialist whose opinion I respect. From my first meeting with Dr. Covello, I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, an expert in his field. He was also very open to any questions I had, listening patiently and answering in easy to understand language. He is very friendly and personable and clearly enjoys his job and his patients. During my hospital surgery, all the nurses I encountered had the highest regard for Dr Covello and gladly endorsed him. Other patients I met in his waiting room also expressed their respect and appreciation for Dr. Covello. I'd never experienced a more pleased group of patients in a waiting room. Dr Corelli is a wonderful doctor, however his office staff and office manager are so rude. I will not be returning to his office unfortunately.

Dr, Covello performed nasal surgery on me in July of 2020. I haven't had to use nasal spray since then and I breath easier every day. Thank you Doc.

I've been seeing Dr. Crovello for over 15 years. He performed sphenoid sinus surgery with great results. Dr. Covello is very conscientious and takes the time to listen to all your concerns.

Dr. Covello is an EXCELLET ENT. He is knowledgeable, personable, honest and works with integrity. He's a phenomenal surgery. Had my tonsils and uvula removed. All went very well. I appreciated his honesty about my what my post op experiences would be. He prepared me for everything!

Best Service ever...

Long time patient.. gone are the days of getting an appointment same day or in a couple days. They continue to run about a month out in order to get an appointment. Recently found out he partnered with the hospital and now gets all their referrals. If you have an earache, throat problem or something that needs attention quickly don't bother trying here anymore, I was told to go to Urgent Care because I couldn't wait a month to see him. Even though he is the best ENT around I am very disappointed in this decision. Guess it's all about the $ now, this happens to the best of them. Recently found out he partnered with the hospital and now gets all their referrals. Dr Covello is very knowledgeable and congenial. His staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. I had a persistent ear ache that did not completely respond to antibiotics. I had a very short wait of less than 10 minutes. Dr Covello ordered a culture so that an appropriate medication could be prescribed. I would highly recommend Dr Covello.

Dr. Covello is amazing however called today to get a refill on pain medicine for my son at 9:15 am and they called me back at 4:15 PM telling me they close at 5:00. They told me he was busy. 7 hrs...unacceptable

I have had sinus problems for years. Dr. Covello recommended a balloon sinuplasty and the doctor was awesome. He explained everything that was about to happen so I was prepared for the procedure. He is also a very pleasant person. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with sinus problems.

Dr. Covello is one of the BEST Doctors that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I have had Ovarian Cancer and Thyroid Cancer and have seen many doctors. He is so personable and tells you everything you need to know about your health. I would recommend him to all family and friends!!!!

Doctor Covello was very good about explaining to me what needed to be done to relieve my sleep apnea as well as my repeated bouts with tonsillitis. I appreciated his candour as he explained the procedure as well as the recovery. On the day of surgery he even stopped by the waiting area to see me, asked me if I was OK and if I had any questions for him prior to surgery. He was kind, confident and was great for my spirits as my anxiety level lessoned due to his visit.

Excellent doctor. Well trained and brilliant. An asset to the Northwest Indiana community.

When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very compassionate. She was able to have me scheduled with Dr. Covello right away. Dr. Covello was awesome! He answered all of our questions and made me feel at ease. I will definitely be recommending him and following up for other allergy related issues.

Several years ago, Dr. Covello was recommended by my internist to diagnose a suspicious lesion on my right ear. Dr. Covello saw me a short time later, and immediately detected a Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He arranged my outpatient surgery expeditiously, at a surgicenter not far from my Valparaiso home. The procedure went very well, and left no scarring or major distortion of the earlobe. His manner is brisk and businesslike, but he gave me confidence in the future.

Waited for about an hour and a half. Sent me next door for hearing test. Probably spent 60 seconds examining me. Totally ineffective prescription. Charges $122 OVER what my insurance covers. Wouldn't go back if it was free.

I waited for an hour and a half. The doctor sent me for a hearing test. He must have spent at least 60 seconds examining me. The bill exceeded my insurance coverage by over $122. His prescription did nothing to help. I certainly would not waste my time to go back to him even if it was free. If I am going to be seriously overcharged, I at least want a competent doctor.

I have suffered from chronic sinus problems/issues for many years. After having some bad experiences & ineffective procedures performed by 2 previous doctors without any form of relief, I decided to take another chance & try out someone new. I'm extremely happy that I did because Dr. Leonard Covello was truly a Godsend! He's very detailed oriented, professional, informed, thorough, kind & has a great bedside manner. After surgery I finally feel great & my quality of life has vastly improved :)
