Dr. Leon Hodes

A visit to Dr. Hodes’ office is unlike a visit to any other doctor’s office - the staff is friendly, inviting and knowledgeable; the office is clean and safe (which has been critical over the past two years); and Dr. Hodes is nothing short of extraordinary - he goes out of his way to ensure the patient’s needs are met and is thorough and supportive.

Office staff is pleasant and kind. Dr. Hodes is by far the best doctor i been to and his attention to his patients is like no other. I would recommend Dr. Hodes to anyone hands down.

Dr Hodes is an excellent doctor. He always spends time and really listens. I never feel rushed and he is an excellent diagnostician. His office staff goes above and beyond! Highly recommend.

Dr. Hodes and his staff are excellent, I have been going there for many years and have never had a bad experience. His medical knowledge and skills are unparalleled. I would highly recommend him to a friend.

The receptionist is not kind. All the receptionist must to be kind, specially if is a medical office

Dr Hodes is kind caring and a very committed dr. He is on time and pays complete attention to every little detail. He spends more time with his patients then any other dr I have ever been too. He is knowledgeable and I am so lucky he is my dr.

I like doctor Hodes but in his office is new front desk receptionist who is very rude, unprofessional and she does not want to register patients.

Dr Hodes is, and has been my doctor since taking over his father’s practice several years ago. The senior Dr. Hodes had been my Primary Care Physician —and an exceptional one at that — for most of my adult life. Dr. Leon Hodes continues in his father’s footsteps and, like his father, is an exceptionally accommodating , personable, readily available & competent doctor to his patients. I never have to wait for an appointment; am never rushed or hurried out of a consultation, — be it an in-person office visit, or a tele-med video — and have never left a consultation feeling ‘unheard’. He takes an interest in the individuality of the patients & incorporates the totality of the person — their personality, situations & circumstances — in his treatment approach. He listens to & hears the patient’s input & truly works ‘with’ and not ‘at’ or ‘on’ them. His office staff — each & every one of them — compliment his approach. They treat me with respect, a comforting familiarity & friendliness and a reassuring professional capability & aptitude. Oh, and one more thing. . . Dr. Hodes Is an amazing Physician. Today it’s hard to have faith in anyone doing a good job and caring about you too. He does a great job and with his care for patients goes above and beyond.

Dr. Hodes is empathetic, knowledgeable and a trusted internist who has been treating me regularly for nearly twenty years. He is bright, engaging, and exceptionally well versed in his practice. I would highly recommend him.

Does not care about patients, and only cares about money. Poorly ran practice after going cash-based. DO NOT GO HERE. 1 star is too many. Front desk staff is especially rude and inept. IN RESPONSE TO THE BELOW COMMENT - My friend WAS a patient of this practice, and I had to assist her through a very dangerous situation because of their negligence. I had to deal with front desk staff first hand, and I am not even sure they notified the doctor of the situation. Since when do receptionists have the authority to make medical decisions? Also, commenting on who does and does not attend their practice is also borderline a HIPAA violation. While I thankfully do not go to this practice, I still stand by my comment as I did have a first hand experience of how rude the staff is while trying to help my friend. I would also like to note that my father DIED because of an almost identical issue as what this practice did to my friend today. While he was not a patient of this office, he was being seen at practice that responded the same way as this one did to my friend. Very disappointed in this practice recently. I'm not even sure that Dr. Hodes knows how his front desk staff treats patients or their health care needs. I was put in a dangerous situation with medication due to the staff saying they would call in a few days worth of a prescription until I could come in for my appointment (5 days). They never did it, and then called me the following Monday to tell me I needed to schedule an appointment to get my refill, when I had already done that the Friday in which I called....After calling to let them know that I already had an appointment scheduled, and that they had promised to send in 5 days worth, the woman said "Well I wish you would have gotten the name of the person that did that"....Are you joking? This is a small practice and I'm pretty sure that your scheduling system has different user names. Needless to say, I am switching to a new practice. Dr. Hodes is a good doctor and man, but I cannot have my healthcare in the hands of his front desk staff. **Note**The medication is something that I have been prescribed for years, that requires a daily dose, and stopping taking them immediately can have some pretty dangerous effects. Doctor Hodes is a compassionate and knowledgeable physician. I joined the concierge boutique membership because he knows my issues, and guves me thevtime I need, and do not ever feel rushed The officecstaff knows my bame, and are friendly, and help me with wgat I need.

Being in the medical field for roughly 20 years has provided me with the privilege of having access to many different doctors but I have chosen Dr. Hodes as my personal doctor due to his exceptional knowledge in both diagnosing and treating his patients. He is an amazing doctor and person!

I had such a wonderful experience with this doctor and his staff. I hadn't been feeling well and from the moment I picked up the phone and dealt with the staff to make an appointment, to my actual visit and follow up, I couldn't be more impressed. Not only was the staff friendly and professional, but the doctor himself was compassionate, understanding, listened to me and also had such a relaxed bedside manner. This is how medicine should be. I never felt rushed and the doctor had me do additional testing to rule out anything further. The doctor even called me after my appoinment to see how I was feeling and to follow up on my testing! I cant say enough about this practice and the individualized care that I personally received. I have recommended this doctor to many of my friends who have not been able to find a doctor that cares. Trustworthy, friendly, and attentive! Great Doctor!

I've been a patient of Dr. Hodes for 15+ years. He is thorough and knowledgeable and I have recommended him to many friends, co-workers and family members and they are all very satisfied as well. His office staff is the best of any physician's office that I've ever been to. It is a pleasure talking to them and even when they are busy, you never feel rushed. They have often helped me on short notice and followed up with specialists appointment for me when needed. Highly recommend

Dr. Hodes is a true gentleman. No matter how busy his office is.. he takes his time with you as if you are his only patient. He explains the condition and all possible remedies. Should something arise that is out of his area of expertise.. he is quick to recommend a specialist so you get the best possible cure to whatever the ailment is.
