Dr. Leo Jan Bastiaens

Was not impressed with his judgement or professionalism- not worth the wait or time to see him. He doesn’t listen to his patients and makes a lot of assumptions for treatment. He show no compassion for those who need help.

My husband had an appointment with this so called 'psychiatrist'. My husband suffers from Autism and has most of his life. He is on disability for it. Dr. Leo Bastiaens claimed my husband did not have autism and wanted to cancel his therapy because of Bastiaens prejudice against my husband! Leo Bastiaens is a biggot and decided to treat my husband with such disrespect that we are considering a law suit. DO NOT go to him. He has no clue what he is doing. I hope his licence to practice his cruel form of psychiatry is revocted

He refused to give me refills on my medication before my appointment even after my therapist sent in a medication request. I am now over a month without my medication and in full crisis mode. He was notified I was in crisis mode but did nothing. Worst part is, similar thing happened last year with him. I ended up switching doctors and saw her today. She said she heard similar stories about him. I really liked him, but my health is at risk with him.

If he asks, don't tell him where you work or your height and weight. Don't tell his therapists anything about yourself either. Avoid them at all costs.

Really tries to get to the root of problem and get the medication right! Doesn't give up, keeps trying to find a solution! Highly recommend him!

Doctor B. lacks the empathy and compassion his field requires. If you want a professional who genuinely cares, go elsewhere. Do not waste your time and money.

DR. Batiens treated me about 9 years ago and saved my life. I will be eternally grateful.
