Arrogant provider doesn’t seem to care much about patients or the pain they suffer from. Also commits HIPPA violations in office. Discriminates against younger patients. If you are young, you can’t be in that much pain. Just think it away. “Mind over matter” if that worked I would be healed already!!!

This doctor was so rude to me by the time I had surgery date done he took me into the room lay down face down supposed to inject 2 3 4 5 and what happened he stuck the needle in and I felt so excruciating pain every inch but he put the needle in I was about to throw up he did it once he did it twice and then he's put the third in where was supposed to be he did the Second Sight and he pushed it in then he pushed into the second time he pushed it into the third time and I was about to faint and then the third time he pushed it one he pushed it twice I fainted in the operating room he called we need to terminate the procedure and I went to recovery with very low blood pressure stayed there about the hour with my head down on the floor in the hospital bed so I can get my blood pressure back up and then I look at what was being done and he had billed my insurance company for completing the procedure which no novocaine would ever injected into me

Very knowledgeable doctor. Knew EXACTLY what I needed and explained everything thoroughly. I was not able to walk for 2 weeks and went to Dr. Berkwitz. Immediately after my treatment for back problems, I was able to walk and have been doing good for over 1 1/2 years. He is a blessing in my life.

Follow up? Ended surgery as I fainted. Terminated but act like my fault. Maybe inject numming before pushing needles in neck.

Terrible physician. Literally badmouthed another physician, hurried through appointments and when he did my back procedure, was rude, performed the burn improperly and kept telling staff they needed to hurry up. DO NOT BOTHER. He should have his license revoked!!!!

I give 2.5 because the staff was amazing accept the mistake of writing my fill date out a month later then it should have been,it took a week to fix that,, Dr. Berkwitz changed my medicine that was working for 3 years and decides to put me on some medicine that I already tried and I told him my insurance would not cover the cost of it $850 for 30 so a month goes buy with no help they changed it again to another medicine and told them the same thing and 2 weeks went by, in that time he drugged test me 4 times and i passed all of them, inwhich there was no reason for the drug test, so now i go back to get put back on what should have been in the first place and they told me that they where releasing me, I latwe come to find out its because in 2001 I a brush with the law which was 20 year ago and my ethnicity, so being honest withis Doctor was not the best policy because he has ethical issues and morals that when he gave his oath to the board was a lie, so good luck if you find yourself in front of this doctor...God Speed my friends...... After many years of suffering severe knee pain, my 97-yr-old mother is now pain free without medication, thanks to Dr. Berkwits. Her orthopedic Dr. wanted to do total knee replacement and told her that nerve ablation would not work. Thankfully, we did our own research and we are so grateful to Dr. B for his genuine care and concern and his professionalism. The nerve ablation was a success. My only regret is that we didn't know there are so many options in coping with pain without medication.

Im finally out of pain in my lower back thanks to the terrific care of Dr Berkwits and his wonderful staff. They 'cooked' the nerves in my back so that the pain messages cant be transmitted to my brain. I know the pain may come back, but right now, I can walk about pain free!

Dr. Berkwits at the Pardee Pain Center gets my highest recommendation. His expertise and knowledge, using injections and ablations reduced the pain in my back and knee by 80-90%. I am now able to be fully active as I was before arthritis attacked my knee and back.

We were referred to Dr. Berkwits and found him to be an excellent choice, and the perfect doctor to deal with my back pain. He is completely professional, highly intelligent, personable, highly ethical and "user friendly". Dr. Berkwitz spent an ample amount of time with us and answered all of our concerns in language we understood. He is very careful dispensing pain medication, which we found comforting and highly ethical since some doctors are pretty loosey goosey with their prescriptions.

Very helpful care for my back pain from Dr. Berkwits and his staff. His image-guided injections were skillfully done and successful for me.
