Amazing doctor!! Not only is she knowledgeable in her field, she has a bedside manner that is rarely seen anymore. She truly cares and listens. What a refreshing experience. I would highly recommend her. I felt better right away knowing I was in expert hands.

Dr. Cantrell is the BEST doctor I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable, reassuring, caring, thoughtful, and has a great sense of humor as well. This is such a loving and caring doctor. Love her. She cares about her patients and shes straight up with you. I can tell she truly loves her job.

Dr. Cantrell is gentle and personable. She makes herself available to her patients. I saw her for severe stage 4 Endometriosis. I wanted only the best for the very tricky surgery that was before me. She took plenty of time with me both preoperative and postoperative. I had full confidence in the judgement calls that she would have to make during the surgery. I have had an Endo operation at a different hospital in the past with a different surgeon. The difference between the two experiences was night and day. The UVA experience was the best. They have a large staff of knowledgeable medical professionals. Everyone worked very hard to keep my pain under control, and to educate me on how to care for myself after I got home. One of the best doctors that I’ve ever had! She personally responded to emails, answered my many questions, was a great stress reliever, and freakin hilarious. I loved her!
