I would not recommend Dr. Shah because she does not know how to treat patients. She gets impatient and rude if you ask a question and then a clarification. She made us feel that the questions my husband and I had were stupid. Very rude! She is not empathetic. Do not go to her!

Not only was her demeanor off-putting, but she was rude and insensitive. I would not recommend her at all, especially if you are looking to get pregnant after a loss.

Very knowledgeable. Her gentle demeanor was very reassuring. Helped me understand my condition.

I went to Dr.Shah for a consult(by my doctors recommendation) following two 2nd trimester miscarriages. I was under the assumption I was going to get some advice and also some possible answers or at least a plan. Dr shah seemed stuck up,unsympathetic, and didnt seem to care about why I was there. She went over my written history only and came to her own assumptions. Wasnt helpful at all and was a waste of time. If you are looking for someone that will be sympathetic as well as knowledgeble or at least interested do not go to her.

I called Dr Shah up on the phone when I was 5 days postpartum because I had come down with a 104 degree fever. I explained my symptoms including very engorged breasts. She told me I probably have a virus and to 'wait it out'. I told her I was pretty concerned about the high fever and said I think I may have an infection. She told me I don't have an infection and if I'm that concerned I should go to the ER. Then she said she had to go because she had another patient waiting on the other line. I went to my primary the following day and was diagnosed with an infection in my breasts called Mastitis!! Dr shah made made feel unimportant and like I was over reacting. Thankfully I did not take her advice by waiting it out. I would never recommend dr Shah to anyone and I will never use her again.
