Dr. Lee Everett Edstrom

Dr Edstrom rebuilt my husband’s nose after melanoma. He was extremely professional & courteous. He listened to our concerns & addressed them with compassion & efficiency. He did an excellent job with the surgery. My husband & I were amazed & completely happy with the results!

Please file complaints with the hospital. this dr needs to retire. He almost ruined my life and did ruin my marriage. Ivwent to him for small scar removal and had to have 5 surgeries to correct what he did to my face. Stay away from him

Hes a hand surgeon do not let him touch your face or body. He is a horrible doctor who doesnt care what he does to people

I had a consult with Dr. Edstrom for skin removal after weight loss. He was completely unprofessional, and rude. I understand some doctors don't have the best bedside manner, but he was beyond poor bedside manner. I went in proud of my weight loss. I left completely discouraged, and feeling terrible about myself.

As a child with spina bifida I had terrible pressure sores on my feet. Dr. Edstrom slapped skin grafts over the surfaces, repeatedly, which always failed since the inside was still a hole and sometimes infected. It was awful having flaps of skin removed from my hips and thighs, with all the pain and scarring of that, for treatments which kept failing.

I almost so so disappointed with my breast reduction dr edstrom did on me. As are the other 4 women i referred. He left my areolas extremely high and not round at all they are oval. He also told me he wouldn’t do a lollipop incision and did the anchor when i was under I Ann so incredibly disappointed. It’s been years and I am not going to have them fixed from a different surgeon. Also he wouldn’t give extra pain Meds for my reduction surgery when I ran out. It was an awful experience.

Dr. Lee Edstrom performed a MACS face lift on me that had disastrous results. He damaged the underneath portion of my skin where I can never have another facelift or necklift again to correct his mistakes. He was negligent and did not take responsibility. Do not go to this surgeon...you've been warned! I talked to my attorney and he said good luck in finding another physician to testify on my behalf. I asked why? He said because Rhode Island is such a small state...all of the physicians know each other. So much for a legitimate malpractice lawsuit! Had rhinoplasty years ago. He did an awful job! 15 years later I find out he compromised my septum and created a deviated septum that I did not have before surgery. I know this for a fact because I saw an ENT before meeting Edstrom. He lifted my tip way too high and I had cartilage poking out of my tip. Needless to say I found a surgeon in Boston who SPECIALIZES in rhinoplasty, not dabbles in everything like Edstrom. 5.5 hours later in surgery and I have the most amazing nose and I can breathe.

Had breast reduction in 2010. My scars weren't closing and kept getting worse and bigger. Every time I went to him he said it would get better. It just got worse. Turns out it was necrotizing fasciitis. My GP gave me an ointment and when I returned to Edstrom he had NEVER HEARD OF IT. It took exactly three months for my skin to heal from the day of surgery until I was no longer having a problem. Three months that I could not shower fully or feel normal in life. My scars are so ugly from the infection being untreated for so long. I'm just glad I went to my GP when I did. Do not go to Lee Edstrom. He has no idea what to do when you have complications. He will just tell you everything is fine....meanwhile your skin is being eaten by bacteria. Save yourself and find literally anyone else. Had breast reduction in 2010. I was at first put off by the negative reviews, but Dr. Edstrom came so highly recommended from a well-known hand surgeon that I decided to trust the surgeon. I can not be more pleased with the result. Attentive, knowledgeable, disciplined, and clear, Dr. Edstrom is the best. I highly recommend him. He knows his stuff, and explains it well. His surgical assistant is tops. The office staff is efficient and helpful.
