Best doctor ever been going there for a few years now and I'm very satisfied with the doctor there

I canceled this appointment after talking to a very rude office person by the name of Candace. The doctor may be very good, but after dealing with the office who were not at all helpful I decided it was not the place for me. I've been an RN for over 50 years and know how important good patient relations are and these were anything but...and since I can choose who I want to go to and who I don't want to go to, I choose NOT to go to this practice.

I was asked to come in early to do paperwork before being the first patient. Mind you, I am in extreme pain. I showed up even earlier than requested only to find no one there. That was the second time that's happened. Then, when they did show up, they asked me to move my vehicle because they were going to do a photoshoot. Seriously? Late to get there and then instead of treating me they want to do a photoshoot? I obviously won't be going back. However, I do find Dr. Brock does a good job of treating the source of pain rather than the symptoms. I just can't recommend after being treated like that this morning. Dr. Brock is amazing.he has been there & rescued so many people & saved so many lives & given hope to so many.Thank you Dr. Brock for being the inspiration & humanitarian that you are.

I have the greatest respect and admiration for Dr. Brock. Anthony McCannon, who is a great family friend or might as well say it as family, had helped save my son who was part of a horrendous accident a couple of decades ago in Greene county Georgia wouldn't have been here now if it wasn't for Anthony bc of the 6 family members in that car, my son was the only one saved bc Anthony was first on scene and was actually crawled up into what was left of the car looking like a pretzel and helped tremendously on the extraction while acting in a cool and calm nature according not only to witnesses, but my son also. After getting him out, Anthony volunteered to go with him in the life flight to Augusta Georgia leaving his own personal vehicle at the scene and bc of my son begging him so bad about not leaving him until I could be found and then went there to be with my child. Dr. Brock shows the exact same professionalism with all of his patients, not just one or two. He also has such compassion and a strong soft heart for each patient, the couple of times I went with Anthony there and wondered why he was travelling so far away from Palmer Texas to get there after realizing that bc of Dr. Brock's caring staff from the lady who makes the appointments all the way up the tree to Dr. Brock no wonder why he enjoys going to him each month. First off Dr. Brock is a great example of a Christian, second he's a person whom a lot of patients trust with telling him any and everything about what's going on not only with their pain problems, but with personal issues also, and last the doctor part in him not only just taking the time to listen to each and every patient's problems with their pain instead of just treating them like cattle with a number to run in and out of his office everyday just to try and get more in to make more money. I really feel down deep in my heart Dr. Brock is going to have one of the best mansions in Heaven just for caring like he does. Dr. Brock is the consummate professional. I have had multiple epidurals and facet blocks from him and they have all had magnificent results. However, the best I can say about him is that he genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend him and would rate him more than 5 stars if I could.

Dr. Brock is the best pain doctor you will ever have in your life. Dr. Brock believes and trust God in every way of everyday. He will always take care of you just like God does everyday. This doctor almost killed me. He did not clearly explain that I would end up having to go to detox to get off the insane amounts of pain medication he had me on. I had multiple doctors look at me terrified and ask me, "Who did this to you?" when they saw all the medications I was on. I am thankful I got off the medications and never ended up with a substance abuse problem. I know he was trying to help (he is compassionate), but long term use of fentanyl and dilaudid is never a good idea. At one time I think I was even on the highest dose of patch they make of fentanyl, dilaudid, valium, ambien and a host of other non narcotic medications all at the same time. I couldn't see it at the time because I was in pain. If I would have gotten my spine fixed earlier I would have been good to go. Instead I ended up on massive doses of pain medications that changed my personality and how I related to everyone in the world. Tranquilizing doses of medication are never the answer. Surgery, exercise, meditation, and psychotherapy are all better options than opiate chronic pain management that will get you physically dependent on opiates and left holding the bag. Do not let the desperation of pain cloud your judgment and get you physically dependent on an empty substance that will not help you in the end.

I have been to Dr. Brock many times, and he has always been a pleasure to deal with. Not that my spinal injections have been pleasurable. This morning I had the first appointment. This is the second time I've had the early appointment. i was told to be there 15 minutes early, which is standard. Both times they have not been there at the time they require me to be there. No one. This time, however, it went too far. I was sitting in my truck waiting for them to call me in, when someone drove up and asked me if I was there for the photo shoot. I told them this was a pain management office, thinking I was being helpful. Instead, I was asked to move my vehicle so they could do their photo shoot. At first, I was incredulous. What? Yall are already late, and now you want me to move so you can shoot some photos? The hell you say? Then the assistant who helps Dr. Brock came out as if to ask me to move, but I was already starting the truck, so he went back inside. Nope. Not me. I left.

The staff is nice, and Dr Brock is a great doctor. The one problem I have found is that no one ever answers the phone when I call their office. They need to hire more people if this is due to being under staffed.

Has been my pain management physician for 10+ years. He and his staff have been God sent. Kind, curteaous and a Christian who follows his word.

I love doctor Brock for being not just amazing surgeon, but for being an amazing selfless human being in such an inspirational Christian. I pray for him frequently. His staff is amazing as well. They care about their patients so much and it's genuine. Dr. Georgette Ebuh is such a lovely human being and spends quality time with me and has helped me many times. I personally met Dr. Brock yesterday when my Husband had his first round of injections for pain due to Post traumatic arthritis in his right ankle. He's been seeing him since January. He's very humble. I like him very much, He was thorough explained the procedure, and recovery in detail. He administered the IV and even walked my husband to the car in his wheelchair. I don't know of many Dr's that do that. They usually put that work off on their office staff. I definitely recommend this Dr to anyone struggling with pain. He's down to earth, and very pleasant. Dr. Brock is, essentially, what you want in a pain management doctor. He listens to you, asks questions, takes whatever time needed. Your first visit is both an evaluation and a "get to know you" meeting. He does not push drugs like so many others. But if you need them, he will make an informed decision as to what you need and of what. I have never asked for, nor gotten, a prescription from him. He instead tries to treat the source of the pain. In my case, it's both cervical and lumbar spinal degeneration due to youthful indiscretions (military service mostly). So he recommended and does injections into the spine to treat the source of the pain, and does so within reasonalbe limits in time and pain level. Some people may pause at his overtly Christian views. I am agnostic, but I don't mind if someone prays for me. He's a great doctor with a great attitude and most of his staff is helpful and friendly.

Dr. Brock is one of the most caring physicians I have ever known. I live in pain every day of my life and his procedures have given me a better quality of life. He’s a Christian Doctor and prays with me before any procedure is done. I care so much for him and his staff........

I didn't even get past the office staff before I decided this place is horrible. I'm leaving this review in the hopes that maybe the doctor checks it occasionally. This practice is losing patients due to the incompetence of the schedulers! I called the McKinney location after my doctor had faxed over my referral. The statement, "you need a referral," spills out of her mouth so fast you can barely get a word out of your own. I said, "it was faxed over last week." Her: "Well, we haven't received it." Me: "How do you know?" Her:"We are backlogged with over 100 faxes, but we'll give you a call as soon as we run up on it." Me:" Soo....basically you told me you haven't received it, but in reality you don't know." Her: "we'll give you a call." Me:"How will you do that if you don't have my name or number?" Great Dr and NP's/ PA but the staff other than Brenda are horrible rude VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had surgery to repair 3 large abdominal hernias therefore was unable to complete my second spinal steroid injection I informed the office if this so did not make my monthly appt long story short surgery went horrible went into respritory failure was released 12 days later 7 weeks home bound with home health 4x a week!!! I was given tylenol 3 which I informed the staff ( Donna) she said ican fill it as long as I want on anything other than from my surgeon!!! I finally got released from my Surgeon called Dr. Brock to make my appt she rudely in few words called me a liar and accused me of Dr shopping insinuating I was seeing more than one Dr not the case Dr Cernero as well as so many Drs have NPs PAs who will see you for follow ups and postop care!!! Donna wad do Rude yelled at me I couldn't get a word in she was yelling so loud I just hung up!!!! I feel like I paid to do one injection 2 visits they got their payment and didn't care to follow through with care! First off, I have known Dr. Brock for 20 plus years. Not only is he a good friend but he is also a great Dr. Over the last 25 years I have had several pain doctors, and the best one I ever had moved to a different state. And even he told me to go to Dr. Brock. I don’t get special treatment because we are friends, but he treats everyone with the same respect and care they need. His entire staff are very professional and go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. His 2 P.A.’s, Georgette and Janet, are 2 of my favorite people. I not only think they are great medical professionals, but I’ve come to think of them as friends. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. i HAVE TAKEN MY WIFE SEVERAL TIMES TO DR BROCK FOR LOWER BACK INJECTIONS. HE IS SO CARING THAT WE PRAY TOGETHER AND WE ALWAYS RECEIVE A FOLLOW UP CALL THAT AFTERNOON OR THE THE NEXT DAY. GREAT STAFF AND DOCTOR. HE REALLY CARES!

Georgette was professional and caring. You can tell she truly enjoys her career and her patients. She takes the time needed to spend with her patients when needed.

I really liked Dr. Brock, but it has been 4 weeks since my first appointment with him (Mon, 3/25/2019), his procedure scheduler was supposed to call me on 3/27/2019. I finally received a call today, 4/24/2019, his scheduled only working on Wed, from 9:30-5:00. I could not take the call, so she left voicemail. I returned her call at 2:24, the first opportunity I had, and left voicemail for her. When I had not heard from her by 4:23, I called and left a second message. I have called three more times, each time receiving a message that they could not take my call, to leave a message and they would return my call as soon as possible. I now have to wait another week before I can schedule my procedure. I don’t usually wish people ill, but I hope everybody in that office someday has to live with the daily pain I do. They might hire a scheduler who works every day. Once a week for scheduling procedures is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Im so thankful and grateful for all dr Brock has done for me. I am especially thankful to ms. Georgette she is the best and I couldn't ask for anything else. The staff is great and know you by name. Thank you to all of Dr. Brock's staff ...

After we moved 500 miles to be closer to three of our grandchildren, we began to seek a new team of physicians for my wife, who has suffered from fibromyalgia for about 20 years. We were referred to Dr Brock by our primary care physician. He evaluated my wife's conditions, began to prescribe her meds, and prayed with her. For the past year we have come monthly or bi-monthly to be seen by Dr Brock or his very compassionate and competent nurse practioner, Georgette. What a blessing!

It's a blessing to have a pain mgt. Dr. that cares about his Client's!!! I respect and admire the Man, He's a really smart Dr. I give him my complete confidence during injections!!!

Recently moved to the area from Fort Worth. Dr. Brock actually helped reassure me that I will get better and my pain can be treated WITHOUT narcotics, which is great. He got me in to my appointment right at 2:30 which was when my appointment was. And spent almost an hour with me answering all my questions and explaining everything to me in detail...MRI results, going over medical history, and explain treatments that will help long term not just temporarily. Dr. Brock is a wonderful doctor as my review above demonstrates. But I have been approved by my insurance carrier to receive the second set of steroid injections for my back. I had an appointment for same but had to cancel due to some other medical issues (MS). I have been trying to re-schedule but Dr.Brock's office phone is never answered, and if I get a call back it is days later if at all. What is a patient supposed to do to deal with this situation? Communicating shouldn't be this hard

This office is a complete and total circus. Avoid at all costs. After being forgotten in the waiting room (an hour and a half wait), just to be shuffled into the patient room to be forgotten again (another hour and a half!!)... 3 hours wasted waiting for the doctor - I finally get 3 minutes with him to give him the run down on my two auto immune diseases that my rheumatologist and PCP have diagnosed. He decides to do 6 spine shots of cortisone, and I was sent off to book the procedure with the front desk lady. After waiting 45 minutes in line to book my procedure - she yells out the glass window that she will be reviewing charts and will call everyone tomorrow with their follow up appointments.... I leave, frazzled because the visit was a complete and total joke.... Fast forward to 3 weeks later - STILL waiting for the phone call for my procedure (left numerous messages, never to be returned.).... I check my mail and have a $2,500 drug test bill waiting for me. I call my insurance immediately. They state that Dr. Brocks office (which is covered in my insurance company's plan!) used an out of network drug test company, and my insurance had already paid $1000 of it, and would not be paying anymore. They also stated it was a simple drug test, not a test to diagnose me or anything!!! I already told the doctor I was on pain medicine, and I know that the doctors have to do urine analysis when I'm on pain medicine... BUT AN OUT OF NETWORK LAB?!?! STICKING MEEEEE with a $2,500 bill!!!!!! I called Dr. Brocks office, FURIOUS, just to be sent to voice mail when no one answers (SHOCKER). Not only will they NOT call any of their patients back, they screw them over with absurd lab companies that leave their patients with thousands of dollars owed!!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE. They do not know the FIRST thing about customer service, they will NOT help you with your pain management, and good luck ever getting them to return your calls. This office is an absolute joke. My son was referred to Dr. Brock by our Orthopedic surgeon for complex regional pain syndrome. Dr. Brock is wonderful, kind, and concerned. His office staff make multitasking look easy.

Still waiting on my phone call to book the procedure I was suppose to have done... back in October. This office does not return phone calls, nor will they ever answer the phone. They were in network with my insurance company, and decided to use an out of network lab to run my urine analysis, sticking me with a $2,500 bill that my insurance will not cover. This office is a total joke - you will not receive care for your pain management, nor will you ever be treated like a valued customer.

Previously I had extreme nausea after given anesthesia - I requested that I not be given morphine because I felt that was the cause. The physician listened to my concern and I was given demoral instead. I woke up without the nausea and was very thankful!
