Mr. Lawrence H Zager

Dr. Zager performed surgery and an implant on me 20 years ago. I’m happy that he has not yet retired to place another implant for me today. My implant 20 years ago is still in perfect shape. Unfortunately I have lost another tooth at 59 years old. I recommend him for the young and elder.

I just had one of the most complicated wisdom teeth removals. Probably should have gotten these taken out much earlier. Other oral surgeons recommended not to and so eventually this became a no other option extraction. Dr. Zager is a very different type of oral surgeon. He went through my xrays and explained everything. AND on top of it, he called me on A SUNDAY to make sure I was feeling okay. Will definetly be getting other teeth extracted with Dr. Zager! I had four impacted wisdom teeth removed over two sessions with Dr. Zager, and I can't recommend him enough. A few of my roots were intermingled with my nerves, so I was worried that I would be left with unwanted effects from the procedure. Both procedures went just fine and I have no lingering issues. Dr. Zager and his staff were kind and communicative throughout. Both of my procedures were on Friday, and Dr. Zager himself called me both times on Friday night to check and see how I was doing. Quick, efficient, but not painless. I went in for an extraction, and before we started i noticed that i still had some feeling around the extraction area and requested more anesthesia but he insisted that i would be fine. I started to feel pain i asked him to stop but he continued. I had to repeat stop multiple times and push his shoulder before he stopped. Doctor Zager is a master of his craft. I came in anxious to get 4 wisdom teeth pulled so to help with that he split it into two sessions. Both times he did the extractions it seemed effortless for him and my recovery was smooth. The team is great and I was comfortable the whole time! Thank you!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Zager on the same day. The procedure itself was quick and the recovery was fairly smooth with Dr. Zager's instructions. I highly recommend Dr. Zager for wisdom teeth removal.

I had three wisdom teeth extracted. What could've taken an hour took Dr. Zager 10 effortless minutes. I had minimal swelling and very little discomfort post operatively. To add, he phoned me after my surgery to find out how I was doing; he is extremely personable and caring.

Really nice guy, but I can't recommend. I came to get a wisdom tooth pulled. The tooth was pulled, but shortly thereafter, I noticed that bone was now painfully jutting out of my gums. It took not one, but two, subsequent visits to get him to fix this. After all that pain and trouble, then I get him with a bill much more than I was quoted. This quote had nothing to do with the follow-ups either. I don't know if the receptionist coded the procedure incorrectly or what, but it was about $500 more than I was quoted. I'm reporting them to the BBB. This was my third wisdom tooth extraction (the others with other doctors), and it was by far the least competently done and the most expensive (even excluding the extra bill). I was seen by Dr. Zager for an oral surgery procedure. He and the staff provided excellent high quality care and follow-up which resolved my dental issue. I am very grateful for the prompt care I received under the challenging circumstances we face with the ongoing pandemic.

A terrific oral surgeon. I only needed one dose of extra strength Tylenol after my implant surgery. Dr. Zager is both skillful and caring. And his staff are all quite professional.

5 stars for Dr Zager and his staff! I have 3 kids who were treated by his team 2 had wisdom teeth removed by Dr Zager. Exceptional oral surgeon attend to every single detail from beginning to end. Has competitive service prices is very generous with his time and expertise. As a business owner myself I highly recommend his services.

I came to Dr. Zager with a bottom left wisdom tooth infection and then later I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Zager. I am 31 years old and I definitely should not have waited this long to have my wisdom teeth pulled, so do it as soon as possible! The experience was as good as a tooth extraction could be. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable, the surgery was quick and mostly painless (only had expected pain/soreness that was easily managed with Ibuprofen/Tylenol). The entire team and staff were helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns I had regarding the procedure. He performed the extraction and I had minimal pain and swelling the days after. I had an simple surgery done at this office. The doctor was fine, but the staff is quite disorganized. I was billed an amount that was different than what they said when I called, and then when I called back it was yet another amount. They honored the first amount they initially verbalized, but I find their billing team to be quite disorganized. I would find another doctor with a better office team. There are many around the city. 4 wisdoms extraction, first day was the worst day....took my pain meds antibiotics and slept thru the rest. Follow up a full week later and I was in top top shape. Zager is dental excellence. - ms

Dr. Zager is very professional at the same time not cold or mechanical. He made me feel comfortable sitting in his office and getting my wisdom teeth removed. The whole procedure was very painless, and I did not have any issue with pain or infections at all after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Zager.

Dr. Zager did an excellent job removing my wisdom teeth. I had a more complicated hook near a nerve and I had no damage. The staff were helpful with insurance and both the staff and Dr. Zager answered all of my questions. As a Cosmetic Dentist, I highly recommend Dr Zager. Dr Zager helped my 96 year old dad with his dental needs, my dad is a retired dentist and he was very impressed with Dr Zager.

From the receptionist to the billing manager to the dental assistants, patient service is OUTSTANDING!! Take it from someone who hates the dentist, this practice is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A Great Dentist!

I was afraid of having a tooth pulled, but Dr. Zager and his staff were extraordinary! Everything was explained, the process not nearly as bad as I thought and the excellent and easy to follow instructions for recovery were very helpful. I had no swelling or bruising and minimal pain (to be expected). Dr. Zager gets my highest recommendation!!
