My husband was so fortunate to find an outstanding job that was going to relocate us to beautiful Danville, Virginia. Well, finding doctors for myself, my husband and our 14 year old (one for each necessity) is quite the task. I honestly had NO IDEA HOW DIFFICULT IT WOULD BE!! Every single place BESIDES Dr. Winikur’s office was just tragic to be quite honest. From the moment we said hello to the friendliest of receptionists, making my appointment, walking in the door and being greeted by the most pleasant and professional staff it was a completely different experience from any other office I had encountered since moving to our beautiful new town. Once I checked in I was greeted within 5 minutes by Dr Winikur’s Nursing Assistant. I had previously filled out my paperwork so they already knew my ailments and had my records from my previous doctor so that made things so much easier. Then I met him….yes him, Dr Winikur himself. What an absolutely charming and caring doctor he is!!!!! I really appreciated that he listened to me, that he looked at my previous records and was very thorough with his exam. I had so much anxiety before finding Dr Winikur and his extraordinary staff. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars my husband and I would definitely rate him higher. Dr Winikur and his staff are friendly and nice. I have only seen him three times so far and it's been good each time. The staff are friendly and amazing. They take their time and they don't get annoyed when you ask questions, even when they are silly.

I saw dr Winkler and he was great at first. I got sick and couldnt keep anything down. I managed to keep one of my pills down the day before but he said there was no meds in my system. I had a test done that showed I metabolized meds differently. I got the dismissal letter the day my dad died so I didnt fight it

I had my first visit with Dr Winikur a week ago and everything about the visit was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The staff was professional but very friendly, Dr Winikur's nurse Nat has great people skills, and Dr Winikur is a wonderful listener who gave me all my options, clearly explained, with respect paid to my concerns. He wanted to know what had worked for me in the past, and what had NOT worked, and we came up with a treatment plan that was clearly laid out and explained in great detail. I can't fault any aspect of my visit that day, and I look forward to subsequent treatments with him.

I liked Dr Winikur from the first day I saw him. He makes you feel comfortable and easy to talk to. He answers questions and he doesn't hesitate to let you know you will not have another chance if you do not take your meds as prescribed. He works hard to help you and for that I am grateful. Thank you for all you do.

I have been seeing Dr. Winikur for close to five years for pain management he’s an excellent doctor he listens to your complaints and he tries to take care of as much as he can without the government stepping in but he’s an excellent doctor and his staff is very mannerly and polite to me!!!

I love Dr. Winikur. I’ve been seeing him for 5 years and no problems with him or his staff. He listens and gives great medical advice. I will not go see another PM DR. He cares and is always on top of everything. I would definitely recommend Dr. Winikur ????

Dr. Winikur is a wonderful doctor, he is the best....he always makes me smile and he has given me more information about my health issues more than most doctors...he gives great advice and his personality and his jokes are just so great. Not all doctors are good doctors..... Do your research!

I got dropped because of one of the staff members! He cares more about his staff then he does the warfare and well being of his patients! It takes forever to get a injection! I was his patient twice in my life, they almost killed me the first time years ago, I had to go cold turkey! Went back years later and everything was fine, for 5 years, until the other day he dropped me! He doesn’t care about you, he cares more about himself and his staff! I could go on and mention things that clinic has done to me, but I won’t because he could get into trouble! I am telling you this clinic will give you drugs to get addicted and then drop you, for no reason! You get a letter and you don’t get to explain anything! I did everything right, went by his rules, everything! Please don’t go to this quack he will get you messed up!i am going cold turkey again!if I die my family can blame it on the staff! I am horrified that places like this exist! I just took my 80-year old father to his 1:00 appointment today. He never even made it in to see the doctor. The monster at the front desk said that he didn't have an appointment. Upon further inquiry, we found out that the doctor had decided to cancel his appointment. No one bothered to call my dad to tell him. My father can't drive, so I took the day off of work to take him to this appointment (which, by the way, is three hours from my home). My dad is very well-liked, and I have NEVER seen him be rude to anyone. However, the receptionist said that the doctor had decided to take him off the appointment list because she said that the last time he had been to the office, he was arrogant and rude. I am truly mortified at the way he was treated, and if karma is a reality, I don't expect this place to be in business very long. I am horrified that places like this exist! Dr. Winikur is a good doctor but his office staff is trash!! Today was the second time we've drove 30 minutes to my mother's doctors appointment only to be told she called and cancelled it which is not true. Then after we left I called to see if the next time someone supposedly calls and cancel the appointment if she could call our home phone to be sure bc we don't be calling she told me no and it's a note in the system cancelling. Everyone at this office is super nice. Dr. Winikur is very informative and has excellent bedside manner. Would highly recommend coming here

Dr.Winikur is an awesome doctor.I've been seeing him for years. He has helped me so much. I wouldn't be able to function without the excellent care he has provided. I can't say enough about the care. He's great !!!

I have been a patient of Dr.Winikur's for about 20years and I have always been satisfied with my care. He's a compassionate and caring doctor that will do whatever it takes to find a way to help you with your problem.

Straight forward and caring unlike other doctors in my 15 years I have seen for my spine disease. Some doctors don't follow HIPPA regulations, but they always do here. If you want a true doctor than this is the place to go.

Dr Winikur is awesome. He's thorough, answers questions, is respectful & attentive to my needs and concerns. He also makes me laugh, and when you have chronic pain, it's always a pleasure to have a doctor who cares enough to put a smile on your face when you're in pain.

Very poor client service from receptionist/ medical assistant. She had an attitude because I was asking questions about the type of care they provide. I ended up leaving the office without seeing the doctor. You don't have to settle for anything, there are plenty more places that offer better client satisfaction.

I was in a car accident in 2007. Dr.Winikur was awesome in my insurance hearing. He explained my health and pain issues so well I won my case. He has since then been very professional and kind to me as I seek treatment to try and keep working with my back injury rather than seeking disability. I have back, leg, and hip pain every day and his care has enabled me to continue working as a nurse. You are truly blessed if he is your doctor.

My experience with Dr. Winikur has been wonderful. For the past 7 yrs. he has been an excellent doctor. He is caring, compassionate, and concerned about my condition. He has a great sense of humor, which is very refreshing, especially when I go to see him and am in a lot of pain. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.
