Always great to see Dr. Stokar, listens to my concerns and does a thorough exam.

Dr.Stokar along with his staff were very professional and made my visit very comfortable.

I went to another dermatologist a year or two ago for this problem, and that doctor acted like I waseating his time. He told me to soak my finger. That's it. Dr. Stoker actually listened to what I had to say, and was genuinely concerned about my condition. Telling me exactly what needed to be done and when, and took the time to answer every question I had. Everyone working there is very kind, and non judgemental. I went in feeling afraid and unsure of my finger could be fixed and healed, and I left knowing that it could, and would be. And everyone on the team was so kind and patient.

Nice friendly staff. Short wait this morning. Dr Stokar has good bedside manners and knows his stuff.

I found my experience with Dr. Stokar at Advanced Dermatology to be pleasurable. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The sign in procedure was seamless and my wait time was minimal. Dr. Stokar was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed my condition and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. I received frequent reminders prior to my appointment and a follow up email immediately following my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Stokar.

Dr. Stoker is a great Dermatologist. He provides exceptional service and is always very pleasant.

I came in with a massive cyst. The doctor spent less than 30 seconds looking at it before giving his opinion on what should be done. He claims the cyst couldn’t be dealt with in his office. He issued me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. I couldn’t walk or sit without pain upon leaving his office. Nothing he did helped me and it was not worth the $137 that I paid out of pocket for the visit. UPMC’s Urgent Care handled my cyst within 10 minutes of being in their office and the doctor actually spent more than 30 seconds with me.

Dr. Stokar did a fantastic job! I went in for a mole removal and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Arrived 10 minutes early checked in. Was taken in on time. Staff were cordial and friendly. Saw Dr. Was treated and out in reasonable time. Check out was quick and easy.

Dr. Stokar is top notch. I was referred by my PCP for some questionable moles. Dr. Stokar patiently answered my questions about every one I asked about, all negative. I had a big smile and a much more relaxed feeling. Then he asked about another small area that had been visible for about 2 weeks. It wasn't itching, bleeding or any of the things that I had read about, so I had discounted it. Dr. Stokar said he wanted to test it and removed it in the office in about 3 minutes. No pain at all. Imagine my surprise when it came back positive. Impressed me immensely and confirmed for me that I had MY dermatologist! I no longer ask about anything and leave the office absolutely confident that I have had the best medical care that can be given.

Visited for my six month check-up.

Prescribed face wash for oily skin I've used before. Gave me an exema cream for an infected nail that hurts so bad I can't use and is going numb in spots. Quick mole check. No chance to talk.

This visit was to check on pre-melinomas on my scalp. I am bald and just over 70 years of age, and would like to avoid skin cancer brought on by over exposure to sunlight. Dr. Stokar was prompt, courteous, and provided suggestions that I can readily implement.

Dr.Stokar is very professional and he takes the time to answer questions and concerns that I may have. He is thorough and gentle. He makes me feel at ease when any procedures are performed. I have complete confidence in him.

I have been to Dr. Stokar before. He found a squamish cell carcinoma and I had surgery to remove it. When I went back for a yearly check (scheduled for early morning), I waited 20 min to be called back to an examining room and another 20 for the dr to show. Check was very rushed. When I asked about skin concerns I had, he asked my age and said my problems were normal and likely hereditary, even when I said they'd started recently. He asked a PA to send in prescriptions for me, then said "These are very expensive, so we are sending them to the pharmacy we use. They will contact you in a couple days." Seriously? Total time spent in office, incl wait time: 55 min. Time talking to staff: 10 min. Time talking to Dr. Stokar: 5 min. He didn't explain anything and brushed off my questions, then said "Have a good day" and left. Not a good experience; also will be my last visit.

Dr. Stokar is professional, knowledgeable and caring. My wife and I are thankful that we have him as our dermatologist.

Dr.Stokar was soft spoken and very gentle. He removed cancer from my face and never felt a thing. First time I was ever at a Dermatologist and I am way up in years. The office staff made me feel very comfortable.

Complete body check for melanoma

My visits seem to average about 30 min of waiting time. Dr. Stokar seems very competent as does his staff. The process is kept simple by design and We can all appreciate that. Making appts and appt reminders along with easy bill pay make the whole experience that much better.

Following up for a rash on my arms

My former dermatologist in Harrisburg told me that the skin problem on my forehead was nothing to worry about. Dr. Stroker did a biopsy and found it to be skin cancer

He is the greatest. My husband has a skin condition that drives him crazy and Dr. Stokar has helped him with various scripts to combat this immune disease.

I was referred to Dr. Stokar by my PCP and he resolved a rash issue I had for 8 months. Highly recommend. He Also communicates in terms we can all understand.

I did not know James Worry was no longer at the practice, so I had to see Dr. Stokar. After waiting over an hour in the examining room, he came in and said "How Old are You?" I thought it was very inappropriate, since he had my records. He did a procedure on my face and that was OK, but I will not go back to his office. Unprofessional.

I went in for a 4 treatment package on my face for wrinkles. They suggested I pay for all of them upfront. I had a terrible reaction after the first treatment and would not get the remaining 3. Each treatment was $400. They said they could not refund my remaining money. They are owned by a large chain and they claim all billing matters are out of their hands. They said I could come in and buy $1200 worth of product to use up my credit. Do not waste your time at this office. Very uncaring and unprofessional.

Would not ever waste my time and copay. Waiting room has music blaring so loud it sounds like you are at a rave. Office staff is unfriendly and wait times are long only to be rushed out once Dr finally comes in. Then I was given samples and told they would send my prescription to their pharmacy that they use and would have it within 2-3 days, which i never received. I called pharmacy and was told they left several messages for md office and they were never contacted back.

This was my first and absolutely the last time that I will see Dr. Stokar. He removed a cyst on my face, he should have closed it after removing it, and he didn't even schedule a follow-up appt. I will have a scar on my face the rest of my life because of his treatment or lack of treatment.

Seen him for 30 seconds came in took three or four tags off my neckDid not laser room just cut them sent me home with a patch on my neck the bled for 16 hours I finally went to the emergency room and they put silver nitrate on the stop the bleeding If you want pictures I can email them to you not very happy

I normally see the assistant James who’s wonderful. My last visit was with doctor stoker for some reason. I waited almost two hours for him to spend 2 minutes with me. If you want a good visi my Do yourself a favor and ask for James

Dr. Stokar was excellent and potentially saved my life by removing an abnormal mole. I always know that I am in good hands and his expertise is really second to none. He always displays good humor and a calm demeanor. I highly recommend.

My son went to see Dr. Stokar and visit went well, but the office staff was rude and unwilling to assist my son when he was told that he had to pay $100 for the visit. My son called me immediately and the office staff refused to speak to me. I advised that our deductible was met. She advised me to take it up with their billing department, who would give my son the refund if it is due to him. I advised her that poor customer service will not get any good reviews.

We were referred by another physician to Dr. Stokar. The office scheduled us for first available and they saw us in 2 days. We saw the PA and the Dr. They were both knowledgeable and diagnosed and performed a treatment the same day. The online reviews had me concerned but the Physician referring us has been excellent so we scheduled the appt. We would return and I would recommend them.

There is one doctor and one PA in this office, at least according to their sign. Waiting room was packed and I waited well past my appointment time. Patients in the waiting room were all grumbling about the wait. When I finally did get seen by the doctor, he was very rushed and made no time for me to express any concerns I had or to ask questions. He had no concerns about what I came in for but said twice that he would remove a small cyst, which wasn't even why I was there. Won't be back.
