I am currently a new patient, and I was impressed during my first appointment. Dr. Slama is knowledgeable and spend the proper amount of time explaining the diagnosis and treatment. I have now seen Dr. Slama several times. He is what I describe as an old fashioned doctor. And by that I mean a doctor who truly cares about you, takes his time, makes certain to ask all the questions, and does not treat you like a cookie cutter patient. He is WONDERFUL! The first time I saw him I had been struggling with a cough that simply would not go away. I had an amazing primary at that time, but he was unable to help me resolve an ongoing persistent problem. Dr Slama did. I only wish I had a primary doctor that was half as good as he is! It was the very first time I saw a doctor actually look at and go over the "new doctor" forms that every doctor has us fill out. Because of that he knew what not to recommend. He didn't just ask for my history, he utilized it! But not only does he offer exceptional medical expertise, but he does so with warmth & caring. I highly recommend him! And the medical & office staff were great as well, they handled my scatterbrain late arrival at my last visit (during our pandemic) with kind understanding. Dr Slama is so caring and wonderful. He actually talks to you and explains everything in terms that you understand. The entire office is excellent.

He was my doctor when I was Admitted into the hospital he was the only doctor that diagnosed me he became my mom’s doctor with COPD my dad’s doctor with COPD and my daughter-in-law’s doctor he is wonderful caring and very personal

Amen! I finally found a doctor that I love. He listens and is very attentive and personable as well. He has a way of explaining things to you that I actuallly understand. The rest of the staff is amazing and very friendly.

Dr. Slama took his time with me and did not rush which is very important to me. He noticed things on my scans that other doctors did not. The whole staff overall is very polite and efficient.

One of two of the most professional Doctors I have ever met. I am truly blessed to have him on my side.

Personable, professional, great "bedside manner." Takes time to actively listen. Studies History, asks pertinent questions. Discusses findings. Extremely knowledgeable. Doesn't rush through appointment. Feel like I've come to the right doctor!

Dr Slama treated my second case of Valley Fever. I got well quickly and can exercise and do yoga breath postures with ease. He is one of the best doctors I have ever gone to because he listens to what you tell him and he does the right thing in treating the problem. He doesn't rush you in and out and I appreciate his time and care for my health issues.
