Dr. Schouten, has been the pinnacle of internal medical care doctors. From my first visit, my concerns were addressed with complete holistic assessment of every issue and was provided with excellent support. My expectations have been far exceeded by him, and I have him to thank for saving my Christmas. I recently saw him for a last minute appointment regarding extreme concerns. Not only is Dr. Schouten the most qualified doctor in his practice, but he possesses the ability to assess his patients in a thorough manner, while genuinely showing interest in YOU! Having extreme fear, while managing chronic illness, his emotional and mental support, with rational explanation truly has provided me the relief I have been in search for months upon end. When medical physicians have their residency, doctoral studies and learn how to juggle the complexity of illness; I wholeheartedly believe that ALL medical physicians current or soon to be should definitely follow in his footsteps.

Dr. Schouten is a fabulous doctor. He spent a whole hour with me and was very patient. Extremely empathetic and knowledgeable, he is a wonderful problem solver, and a great primary care physician. I would heartily recommend Dr. Schouten.

We will never return to this doctor for yearly medical exams because of the subpar medical care we received. The medical exam was insufficient, our legitimate concerns were dismissed, and we received vague answers to our questions.
