Awesome doctor to locate the source of my ankle injury and fix

Dr. Mauer. It’s always pleasant to me and has excellent bedside manner for a physician. I have encountered others the fall well short in this category.

Great location. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent care by Dr. Maurer. Seeing Bella again was a highlight.

Dr. Maurer and staff are very professional and truly care about the patient. Hopefully I don't need to see them again, however if I have another foot injury, I would not hesitate to schedule my visit with Dr. Maurer. Highly recommended.

Dr. Maurer makes you feel relaxed and let’s you know up front what will happen and know what the patient needs to do before and after procedure.

Dr Maurer is great! Knowledgeable, professional, and personable. And Bella the comfort dog gets 5 stars too!

Dr. Maurer is amazing. My daughter is his patient and she is very comfortable with him and his staff.

I've been seeing Dr Maurer for several years now with a variety of foot problems. Without fail he has resolved them in good time. He has aways gladly afforded me the time I've needed and is generally a pretty good dude. I am fortunate to have had him recommended to me. His staff is always very pleasant, accomodating, knowledgeable and professional. It's always cool when you go to a doctor and they actually help with what ails you. And there's Bella. The presence of Bella is a delight. Do yourself a favor, go see them with those foot and ankle issues. And stay beautiful. An addition to my review, I read a review from a few years ago from a person stating he couldn't get an appointment because he is a senior on Medicare and that they don't care about senior citizens. Well as a senior on straight Medicare I can tell you that he is absolutely incorrect. He probably chose the wrong provider. I hear that a lot.

Dr. Maurer and his staff are courteous, competent and knowledgeable. He was undaunted when I came to him with a foot and ankle that were virtually non-functional after decades of abuse and neglect. His approach is conservative, trying or eliminating all non-invasive options before considering surgery. Once surgery was decided upon he meticulously planned and explained the procedures involved in what was to be a very extensive and complex surgery. The surgery went flawlessly, and he personally followed up in pleasingly unexpected ways. I couldn't be more pleased. If you need professional care for your feet or ankles this is the doctor to see. If the podiatric world had rock stars he would be at center stage.

Great Doc ( Mauer) , very thorough, and listens to you about the issue. Gives good recommendations, too bad he’s not in my Kaiser plan.

The staff was really friendly, Dr. Mauer has great bedside manners. Everything went smoothly, loved Ellie (the dog, I think that was her name).

The doctors here know exactly what they're doing. They know how to best help you with foot and ankle pains. Dr. Maurer was able to know where I was feeling pain without me telling him where. I was astounded at how much knowledge everyone here has. The front desk people are fantastic. Everyone I've encountered here has knocked my socks off with their service. Dr. Maurer has got me through a lot of issues with my feet. I am on the way to years of pain-free skiing and hiking now! And who doesn't love having his assistant Bella to pet during appointments??

Doctor did a thoroughly examination. The doctor's assistant (Sam) was very kind and was able to respond to all my questions. Sam is just overall amazing and definitely deserves a lot of credit. Another great visit to Washington Foot and Ankle with Dr. Maurer. Had my final 1 year check up after surgery. Everything has gone well and I have healed nicely. Dr. Maurer was wonderful. His staff is friendly.

Awesome! Dr. Maurer was so thorough in helping me understand where my foot pain is coming from and developing a plan for addressing the issue. I'm so grateful my family physician referred me to him!

I trust Dr. Maurer very much. He and the staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Maurer never makes you feel uncomfortable when asking questions, he answers clearly and in a way you can understand. My only complaint as of late, is that the wait times have been very long. This never used to be an issue, but it is one now. Yesterday I waited almost an hour past my appointment time to get into a room. He did come in shortly there after though. Visited DR.Maurer for what I Thought almost silly! A sore toe! Poor me! Stupid me. But he immediately started picking and digging at what could easily become a true problem ! Ingrown toenail! Who knew ? Thank you Doctor for quick and efficient treatment, a time of learning ,sending me on the way with happy toes and even a candid photo of my poor great toe! Dr. Maurer did a great job looking at my foot issues & deciding what needed to be done.

Dr Maurer and his staff are great. They got me in on short notice and took plenty of time with me. I think the doctor is very knowledgeable and discusses options for care with you.

I have been seeing Dr Maurer for years anytime foot problems have come up for me. He is always engaged, utilizes cutting edge information and technology, is kind, funny and everything I would want in a doctor. Most recently I came to him because of terrible pain on the top of my foot. He X-rayed,which didn’t show a problem, I wore a boot for 4 weeks (conservative treatment) and had an MRI when the boot didn’t help. The MRI came back inconclusive and the pain was still there. He then had me go for a CT fusion which showed a fragmented Navicular bone. Bingo! I had it removed yesterday and am on the road to recovery. I appreciate his doggedness and desire to find the problem and his expertise in knowing how to fix it. I recommend him highly! Great experience. Staff was friendly and provider has really good bedside manner. Was very through in his analysis and explained things in layman terms. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mauer is the best!

Always gives you all the time you need, gives you options - and has make it so my chubby older body can exercise again. He knows feet, ankles, and shoes. He is the best.

I was very happy with my visit with Dr. Maurer. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful in the office. Dr. Maurer was very professional and knowledgeable and very friendly at the same time. He answered and explained everything in detail. He came in to the room with his dog Bella, an adorable theraphy dog.
