Dr. Lawrence Edward Foote

Dr Foote is nice and easy to talk to. My issue is around their protocol and how they charge the patients. I was referred to Dr Foote by my OB due to irregular white blood cell count during pregnancy. Dr Foote took some blood sample to rule out leukemia etc. This was in October. No one ever followed up with me on results. I had to call the office repeatedly to follow up and to find out I need to make an appointment with the doctor to get my results back (they can’t just upload my results or have a nurse tell me.) We made a virtual appointment but somehow Dr Foote didn’t show up. (This is probably due to technical miscommunication, but quite frustrating.) Then we made a second appointment and I finally got the results back in December, 2 months after the sample was taken. As suspected, nothing was wrong with me and the visit lasted a couple of minutes for Dr Foote to tell me nothing was wrong. Then I found out the office charged my insurance $250 for this appointment! In my experience dealing with other doctors, getting the test result should be covered as part of the original service and should not be separately charged. Anyway, want this experience to be shared with others for awareness.

Dr. Foote easily addresses all my concerns. He also has an easy going and great personality.

Fast. Efficient and professional

I have been seeing Dr. Foot for approximately 10 years. He always takes the time to listen to the patient and he goes further by explaining conditions and causes in laymen's terms, even drawing pictures to help me understand. He also doesn't give up. He does the extra research to find answers and ways to treat various conditions. I have two very rare conditions and he is able to treat both.

This is my second opportunity to see Dr. Foote. I went back to him because of the very positive experience 5 years before. If I need a hematologist again, I’ll be back. Why? He is thorough, easy to talk to, practical, knowledgeable, he takes time with you, and he follows up. The US medical system needs more like him. Thank you Dr. Foote.

Dr Foote has the best manners, I’ve been A patient of his since 2009 he has always been honest with the best sense of humor he is one of those doctors who cares and listens to his patients, very personable.

Dr. Foote takes time with me and answers all my questions, most of the time calming my anxiety and fears.

Doctor Foote has been my family’s “go to “ doctor for over 10 years. When others can’t figure things out, 9 times out of 10, he will. His straight forward demeanor and clear explanations are refreshing.

Dr. Foote is the only physician I trust 100%. He is the very best doctor, in my opinion. and I value his opinion 100% about my care.

Have been a patient of Dr. Foote's since 2008. He is an excellent physician that truly cares about his patients.

I have great confidence in Dr Foote. His demeanor instills in me a sense of calm despite the potential seriousness of my illness.

Dr. Lawrence Foote has been the BEST DR. that I have had during my 5 year battle, I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have you as my Oncologist. Bedside manner is EVERYTHING to this former R.N. I highly recommend Dr. Foote for anyone going through this disease.

The appt was for my mom. Dr Foote is very very very nice and professional. He listen joke and talk to my mom like she was his patient for years. Matter of fact everyone was really nice even the other patients lol. Nurse Michelle really sweet,nice and patient as well. This was the first ever appt for my mom. Wonderful environment.

Dr. Foote is a wonderful doctor, not sure how I would make it through this breast cancer journey without him. His medical knowledge is vast but it is his silly sence of humor that I enjoy the most! I'm a 15 year patient of Dr. Footes.I have always appreciated Dr. Foote as a caring qualified physician...... But I waited over an hour for my scheduled appointment this year and the same last year. I don't know what's happened, but the staff in the last 2 years has become unprofessional, and non responsive to patients. I love Dr Foote but he has a staff that does not support him appropriately. Irscw much sadness that I can NOT RECCOMEND THIS Medical practice any longer .

Dr. Foote took an hour with me explaining my lab tests, answering my questions and reviewing my information, which is almost unheard of today in the medical profession when time is short. He is a fantastic Doctor and was very funny too. I appreciated his time and experience, and have a much better understanding of my situation thanks to his explanations and recommendations. I appreciated his time and am very happy with his recommendations which were spot on. I would recommend him to anyone needing assistance in his specialty area. AWESOME Dr. and staff ♥️♥️♥️

Outstanding doctor, thoughtful, nice. He has seen it all which is very comforting. Does NOT over medicate. Explains everything. Staff is great. They all really care about their patients and you can tell.

I have been under the care of Foote for nearly 17 years. He has taught me so much about not only my disease in general, but more specifically how it effects my body as an individual. Wether he makes a sketch of what is going on with your health or spending those few extra minutes to assure I understand he is the greatest hematology dr you will find in the Houston area. Not to mention he was trained by the best Dr. Rice(ret) and just so happened Foote trained my ex husband in onc/hem rotation LW

Dr. Foote is an amazing doctor. He takes the time to really listen to me and works hard to help me understand what my situation is. It is not unusual for him to literally draw pictures for me to "see" what a certain procedure is, etc. I have been seeing him for several years. I have two rare diseases that he treats and although they are rare, he really knows a lot about them. When my father was diagnosed with lung cancer I immediately called in Dr. Foote as I have full confidence in him.

I had a new patient appointment with this RUDE doctor , on May 10th . When I scheduled the appointment I also faxed over my childhood medical records , and any patient records the doctor needed to review my case ahead of time . Once I got there after signed in and paying copay I had to wait 2 hours to see this Rude doctor . Once in the room the doctor came in 30 to 45 mins later with a attitude , no bed side manner at all , nor pt. care experience hes just clearly a doc for the money. No passion
