What I appreciate most about Lawrence Cross, LCSW is his candor and honesty. He doesn’t tell you what you want to hear. He tells you what you need to hear. And when he tells you, you need to actually hear him. You need to listen because he is basing his words and guidance on decades of experience in the field. If you are open and honest with yourself and him, he will guide you to the true issue and help you understand. He will remind you to remain empathetic to yourself while maintaining your accountability. My marriage and my family have all benefited enormously from my sessions with him. Larry was exactly who I needed to help me and who I will continue to work with on this path of understanding. Five stars all the way.

My experiences in sessions with Larry have been very positive. I have been in continued service of Larry for beyond one year...that alone speaks volumes as to his performance. It was well worth the 1 hour travel distance each way. Larry obviously brings lots of expertise along with his many years of service to people he may serve.

I have been seeing Dr. Cross for months now and I could not be happier with my sessions. Dr. Cross is a very good listener and always gives helpful feedback on whatever situation I present. No matter how chaotic or frantic I may feel before my sessions, I always leave with a sense of clarity and resolve. Over the last year Larry Cross has helped me deal with a number of issues related to anxiety and depression which have dogged me most of my life. He has done so in a firm but kindly manner, and his professionalism reflects his long experience in the field. If a person is honestly desirous of dealing with difficulties in his or her life, I have no qualms regarding recommending Larry Cross as a therapist.

I really wanted this to work for my husband and I but with each time it got worse. He would talk about his political views and condemn views that were not his own, that would take up about 20 minutes of our paid time... He is quick to judge you and your situation and once he comes to that there is no telling him otherwise. I felt attacked and told him so, he responded with that is not ok and maybe I should see someone else because he is not in the business of stroking egos.... because he's to busy stroking his own to care about you! He is the most unprofessional "professional" I have ever meet! He gets rid of all of his bad reviews, but you will not get rid of mine!!

Larry Cross is inclusive in his approach when dealing with complex relationship issues. He is even handed and challenges each parties assumptions which enables self-examination for all parties. I feel the time spent with Larry gave us a road-map to save our relationship.

Larry was very helpful in Marriage counseling for my wife and me. He didn't take sides, was frank and honest, and helped us break down walls we didn't know were there. Lawrence cross was the most unprofessional “professional” I’ve ever dealt with. He charged me cash because he said my insurance company wouldn’t pay and then charged my Insurance company. When I asked him about it he became very defensive and told my wife and I that he wasn’t a good fit for him and we should sever our working relationship. I asked if he could recommend someone else and he replied no, we needed too much help. He then short changed my refund by 50% after he cancelled on us.

Without ever being hurtful or unkind, Larry’s honesty, insight and empathy encouraged and motivated me to take a good look at myself and how I could become a more balanced and productive person. Larry helped. He is a dedicated, smart man who wants his clients to succeed. I’m not just a healthier person for having worked with Larry; I’m a happier and perhaps even better person. Larry never gives up. I recommend him highly.

Larry is very easy to talk to and very down to earth. His comments are very frank and he says things as they are. My wife and I have been to several therapists over the years and none of them have helped us like Larry has. There is usually a bit of time spent in the waiting room - but that is because he tries to give as much time to each session as he can.

Mr. Cross was able to diagnose me quickly which led to me healing faster. He tailored the sessions to my needs, listened well and then made his recommendations. When I was better - we were done, he did not try to string it along, but left it open if I ever needed to return.

Dr. Cross is intuitive and knowledgeable. He is patient and kind. Dr. Cross, after getting to know my husband and I and our situation, has given us valuable insight on behavioral changes we CAN make in order to save our marriage. We are more than happy with the services he has provided for us.

Larry has been a good therapist all around. When I was searching for help he was the first to respond and was able to explain how to get set up with him easily. In the sessions I have always felt comfortable discussing any situation or concern. He keeps the apts. focused and makes sure the time spent is sufficient.

I have been one of Lawrence Cross' clients for a few months now, and wouldn't think of switching. Larry is very open and easy to talk to...his practice is located in a historic home where you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. I look forward to my appointments, and that is something I have never said about therapy in the past.

I was so terrified to start theropy, even embarrassed. When I reached out to Larry to Inquire about his practice, I was quick to get of the phone. He called me back to make sure I was okay and he talked with me for a while. You don't see that everyday. He cares about his patients!

Dr. Cross is very professional, but also approachable, and easy to talk to. He seems genuinely interested in helping his patients. He offers good insights, and advice. We always leave his office feeling better than when we arrived. By the end of each session we are usually feeling inspired and able to make tangible positive changes in our life. Working with him has been extremely helpful for us, and we've experienced many positive improvements in our relationship as a result.

Words cannot describe how poorly he acted. It has been a week and my family is still appalled by his behavior and that this man in permitted to practice. He yelled. He screamed. He had a tantrum. We never started the session as he started yelling! We never told him we are doctors, psychiatrists and CPAs. It was appalling to say the least. Please guard yourself.
