I emailed this office requesting an appointment. The response I received was very disappointing especially considering the specialty I was seeking. I was essentially told that Dr. Costello is not accepting new patients and neither is another doctor, who I assume is in the same practice. I was then thanked for considering their practice. I am not in dire need of mental health therapy but I know there are other individuals who may not be in a good place and where it may take a bit of effort to reach out for help...I know it took a lot of effort for me to take this first step. Essentially, the response was horrible. The doctors in this practice need to realize that their staff is the first impression for your patients and this attitude should not be acceptable. I've worked for surgeons in the past and I would never respond to a patient or potential patient this way. Recommendations to other practices would have led to a better outcome especially in mental health. I emailed this office requesting an appointment.
