Dr. Maitland has been thorough, kind and compassionate. I am very pleased to be one of her patients. The front office staff is a bit underwhelming, but It won't stop me from seeing the Dr.

When my family moved to Lynchburg, we scheduled a checkup with Dr. Maitland for both my daughters. They both had separate health issues and one of them had open bladder surgery a couple years back. I had all their medical files transferred from the state we moved from to Dr. Maitland's office prior to visit. I was worried some info may get lost in the transfer or something overlooked; however, when Dr. Maitland entered the room, she began to talk to each one of my daughters about their different medical issues and experiences. She also asked them about their hobbies and interests. They loved her right away! They felt more comfortable with her on their first visit, then with the doctor they have been seeing since birth. I, highly, recommend Dr. Maitland as your new family doctor.

The best doctor I ever had. Excellent listener, bright and caring. So difficult to find a doctor who actually pays attention to her patient. She does. The best!
