We have been patients with Dr. Plachta for 20 years now! We love the personal relationship she has knowing each of our 4 kids. She shows such personal interest in their health and well-being! In all of the years we have been with this pediatric office if we raise concerns we feel listened to and see change! Dr. Plachta has been a huge resource and comfort when more serious issues have arisen and when minor illnesses happen she is quick to get in to see or we have excellent results with the other pediatricians in the office. The office is kept clean and inviting. We have had great experience with Dr.Thompson, Dr. Ginnocchi, and Dr. Behrens as well! All are outstanding! Both of my sons have seen Dr. Plachta since birth. We selected her based on a meet and greet at the practice, and have been very happy since. She is attentive and personable, but more importantly knows what she is doing. We’ve had to take the kids in many, many times (thanks, daycare), and I am always happiest when we happen to get a sick visit with Dr. Plachta. Both of the boys love her too, which makes visits easy. I’m also in a unique position with a child who has a rare disease. I remember very well receiving a call from Dr. Plachta on a Friday evening last year with the news. I wasn’t expecting it, nor had I heard of it, and she made sure I wrote down both the name and key information. This greatly helped in the first few days, and she has been a support since then. Dr. Plachta has been our son’s pediatrician for more than 19 years. She is caring and compassionate, as well as very thorough with our son’s health. She is a huge resource and advocate for our son’s special needs healthcare and has been a valuable resource when recommending/coordinating specialists. Appointments with her are easily obtained and never rushed. She is considerate and thoughtfully engages our son during his visits. Any questions or concerns are always answered in person or when I call in to the nurse line, they are answered the same day with a call back. We are so grateful to have Dr. Plachta in our children’s lives. We met her in the hospital when our first child was born early, and now have three children who are her patients. It’s worth noting that while visiting Dr. Plachta’s office, we ran into one of the nurses who delivered our babies: she’d brought her own children to be patients of Dr. Plachta. I think it says A LOT when a nurse chooses a doctor for primary care. Things run pretty much on time at the office. They’ve always gotten us in when we were worried about symptoms. Dr. Plachta is a good listener, and talks to the kids (and me) respectfully - my kids look forward to getting to see her, almost like it’s a treat. She’s super-calm and super-gentle with terrific advice as a parent herself. We are so grateful to have Dr. Plachta in our children’s lives. bad Experience. I went to See the Doctor for my Kid for the Temparature and 2 year general check up for vaccination , Doctor suggested that she has an Ear infection and suggested Antibiotics and asked to visit back again after 2 weeks. When visited again, Doctor only looks for the ear infection and has no records for vaccination. When i constantly ask about the Vaccination, then they send the RN to give the Vaccination. And again i ask the RN for possible course of next vaccination, then she suggests that i need to schedule again for 2 year general check up which is ridiculous to see the doctor again and again, by which i loose the amount for every visit. No positive response from a single person the Facility. And more over, for a 2 minute check up, have almost spent an Hour for waiting simply in the room. bad Experience.
