We made an appointment with Dr. Patel after my 45 day old son has a rash that was causing him pain. We were asked if we would be choosing the doctor as our son’s primary physician. Answer: “we’ve yet to meet the doctor. I can’t truthfully answer that question yet.” They said okay and booked the appointment. 28 minutes before the appointment after we’re bundled up in the middle of January and on our way they call and ask again and I say we can’t confirm we’ll be choosing the doctor. They cancel the appointment. My son is in pain and Dr. Patel’s ego is more important than the Hippocratic oath. How could you deny a baby care before you have an opportunity to meet them or the parents? What type of irresponsible parent would commit to a provider without meeting them?

My kids have been seeing doctor MIkhail for over 7 years and we all love her. She is patient, kind and caring. She takes her time to listen to both my kids and I. She definitely goes above and beyond.

Dr. Mikhail is an absolute dream of a doctor! The gold standard. She is kind, understanding, and wonderful with children. I am so happy she is our kiddos doctor. Two years ago we moved, and I continue to drive from the north shore into the city to see her. A+ all around.

We left the Weissbluth office (the Weissbluth son is nothing like his well-regarded father) and switched to Dr. Laura Mikhail based on recommendations from friends. Dr. Mikhail is professional beyond words--great personality (and relationship with our infant son); thoughtful review of records; excellent communication on relevant topics and recommendations; and otherwise a smart, dedicated professional. Highly recommended.

We switched to Dr. Mikhail when my 1st child was an infant after a very poor experience elsewhere. She makes my kids feel like they are the most important people in the world and she has never steered me wrong. She does not over-diagnose and is very reasonable.
