This office is horrible they charged my insurance for a mammogram I never received I was 18 at the time and did not need a mammogram nor did I receive one. They also don’t answer the phones.

The first OBGYN in 10 years to take actual concern with my symptoms, explain the predicted condition, and discuss and offer me next steps for diagnosis and treatment. Rarely have I met a doctor with her empathy. She is thorough, knowledgable, patient and kind.

Really appreciated how quick I was taken to a exam room and seen by Dr. Laura Meritt. She was very attentive taking time to address my concerns and answering my questions. She & her staff were very kind & professional.

I have been a patient for almost 30 years. Dr Meritt is wonderful! Her staff is very professional and just as wonderful.

Dr Merritt and her assistant were both very kind, patient and gentle. The office staff were courteous and professional. No one seemed rushed or stressed out by their jobs. A very nice atmosphere.

Dr Laura Meritt is a knowledgeable doctor who connects with her patients first, listen to the symptoms and issues and work very patiently. She was extremely gentle while doing well women’s exam on me. I’ll recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Meritt is professional, communicative and reassuring. She listens to my concerns with genuine interest and recommends treatments that make sense for me as my body ages. I’m always treated with kindness and respect by her and the entire staff at the office.

Staffs are very nice and welcome. Dr. Meritt is very professional. She explained me well about the procedure and walked me in out the process of visiting. Really recommended !

Dr. Merritt has been my physician since I have moved to Austin many years ago, all the staff is caring and very professional, and for a huge bonus you can do your mammogram here also. Highly recommend!

Awful experience from the 45 minute wait time in the lobby to the $225 bill I received for a fully covered exam by my insurance. Contacted insurance and was told the office used the wrong billing code, spoke to the billing department multiple times and am still being charged for an exam that I never received. Also-it’s been 2 months and I still haven’t even received the results from the exam that they did perform! Unprofessional/money hungry/terrible at communication, poor listening skills. Please go elsewhere and avoid the headache and stress. 2/10/21*****Also-don't be fooled by the response from the business for me to please reach out. I've reached out MULTIPLE times with no results. In fact, I just received another bill for the $225 yesterday even though I spoke directly to the office manager and the billing offices two weeks ago. Updated 12/30/2021 - just had the yearly mammogram and OB appointment. Dr. Meritt and staff are still wonderful. I was reminiscing of the days when Tonya the wonder nurse was there. (Tonya - if you read this - you are STILL missed and I think of you often!) My only issue was my own - * Received a text the evening before the appointment to "check in for OB appt." Filled it out the next morning, day of appointment, including updating records and received an "all checked in, see you for your appt" message. Upon arriving, checked in with receptionist for appointments. (Or so I thought). Apparently it was just for the mamo. Had arrived at 8:30 for 8:45am mamo appt, per instructions. Got mamo and was SUPPOSED to recheck in with reception. I failed to do that. My own misunderstanding, as I thought the one check-in did both. Easy to miss - so do yourself a favor and check in, then re-check in, if you have both appointments at one time. Lol Again, we live a good distance away but worth the drive go see Dr Meritt. 25 years and counting! -------- Have been going to Renaissance Women's Group for 23 years. They have helped me deliver to beautiful healthy babies (who are now 21 & 18!), and helped me though the loss of twin angels very early in my pregnancy. Dr. Meritt, Dr Thompson & Dr Darby, plus a host of wonderful staff over the years, have been great. My daughter is now a patient of Dr. Meritt. RWG is a long way from our home, but so worth it. Dr. Merrit is personal, gives plenty of time to cover patient’s concerns, very knowledgeable and just truly a caring person. I have been with her for around 20 years. She delivered 3 of my 4 children. She was pleasant then and is still now. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Meritt has been my Gynecologist for approximately 8 years. She has talked to me about the probabilities of breast cancer due to family history. She has walked me through osteopenia and vitamin D deficiency back to healthy bones and appropriate levels of vitamin D. I appreciate the way I am treated while in her office.

I’m a brand new patient, I was super impressed that she immediately was concerned with what is going on with me currently and wants to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible. Super sweet and listened to what concerns I brought to her. Super happy with my first visit! I hope this is the first of a long lasting relationship.

Dr. Merritt was very thorough and listened like what I was saying was important - a skill lost on many physicians. Unfortunately the wait was longer than I had hoped, but I guess that is to be expected when there are so few people willing to participate in today's workforce.

She took her time to answer all of my questions and explained the options that were available to me.

Dr Meritt and her staff are always kind, considerate, thorough with questions regarding reason for visit and any other possible issues. She then goes over everything with me and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Dr. Merritt was wonderful, she took the time to listen. What I have not been happy with is that her nurse has not been good at returning my calls. And calling has been a pain. The calls go on a cue and after waiting, it then makes you leave a message. Twice I tried the front office and when they'd transfer me to her, I'd get back on the cue, makes you just want to give up. When nurse finally called me back she said they were trying to look into my 2nd insurance for the medication, but I didn't have a 2nd insurance. It took 2 weeks for me to get my prescription.
