Dr Erdman is a fantastic physician. She has been my gyn for over 10 years and I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s patient, kind, gentle, always informed on current research, and an excellent listener. I am so grateful for her care. She’s the absolute best!

Dr. Erdman is my obgyn. I have always liked her pleasant personality. I have been trying to have my yearly appointment with her for quite some time. I believe it was October when I called again and the soonest available date was in July. I was just called and told that they had to cancel that appointment and the soonest appointment is now January. A year and 3 months since I first called. We planned our beach vacation around this date in July. Not to mention women are dying every day from not getting proper, timely care. The office should absolutely NOT be accepting new patients. I am obviously going to be looking for a new obgyn. I hope I can get an appointment and not be told it’s too late and something wasn’t diagnosed in time. As most people realize, this happens every day.

Dr. Laura Erdman is the absolute best OB/GYN Doctor. She is very knowledgeable about her patients care while making sure that she fully listens to their concerns. She provides very detailed and comprehensive treatments and advice. Dr. Erdman is compassionate and thorough. The staff at the office has always been very nice and professional as well. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Erdman for many years. I had a minimal wait only on about two occasions over the years due to her having to deliver one of patients babies. I was given an option to either wait or be rescheduled soon. I highly recommend her for OB/GYN care and I recommend her often to other women for their care. Thank you Doctor Erdman for an awesome experience at this office always!

I have been going to Capital Women's Care for about 5 years now. I saw multiple providers for the duration of my pregnancy and Dr. Erdman delivered my son. The whole staff is professional, personable, and never makes you feel like you're asking a dumb question or brushes off any of your concerns. Dr. Erdman is a kind, understanding doctor with a great bedside manner; during the early days of pandemic there were a lot of unknowns and my husband couldn't come to any of my appointments, but the staff and Dr. Erdman made sure I was listened to; she is a steady presence in the delivery room and I couldn't be happier with the care I received.

Dr Erdman and her staff are all amazing!! They made my experience with my first child so amazing and easy! I highly recommend this group of doctors!

I have been a patient of Dr. Erdman’s for many years. She is an excellent doctor on every level. She has impeccable clinical judgment and her laser focus on the whole patient is rare. I value her expertise and appreciate the empathy she has shown me over the past twenty years.

Dr. Erdman is amazing! I have been seeing her for about 5 years now. She provides excellent care and is worth the hour long drive I have from Frederick!

The receptionist was professional, the waiting area was welcoming and clean. I was seen in a timely manner. Dr Erdman was personable and professional. Dr E listened/answered my questions and explained my exam. She also followed up on other health visit information. A very positive experience!

Dr. Erdman is the best!

Dr. Erdman is the best obgyn!! She delivered both my babies and both experiences were amazing and I felt so comfortable and trusted I was in great hands!!

The office is always clean and professional. Everyone is pleasant and welcoming from the receptionists, to the assistant, to the doctor. I make the drive from Westminster to this office in Towson because I thoroughly trust Dr. Erdman and have been with them for over 12 years.

Office staff is great...Dr Erdman is a wonderful doctor. She very compassion and take her time with you. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for OB/GYN care.

They provide a safe and comfortable space, the staff is so attentive. My visit as always was pleasant and all my doubts were answered. I left that place full of info.

To be fair, this review is as a first time father. I have no opinion for or against the aptitude of the practitioner(s) at this location. It is May 2021. My wife and I have both been fully inoculated with the COVID vaccine, but due to “company COVID policy” I am not allowed to attend her appointments. For perspective, inoculated or not, i am able to go to a bar, a restaurant, a sporting event, a theatre, the grocery store, work, and even visit a loved one in the hospital. What i am not allowed to do, is attend the ultrasound of my first child with my wife because this private company has not re-evaluated their draconian policies. These corporate policies directly contradict the CDC guidance, WHO guidance, and the guidance of our local government. I would also like to point out it’s not as if the CDC, WHO, MD Govt, or Baltimore County Govt changed there policies recently. COVID restrictions for this type of activity have long been repealed. Based on the nonsensical restrictions that are still in place, i cannot recommend this establishment in any capacity. As perspective parents, how are we supposed to trust anyone in this office to make an educated risk based decision about my wife’s health, or my unborn child when they cannot take into account the guidance, stats, and science available. While I understand and appreciate the company attempting to be cautious, these restrictions at this point are ridiculous. To top It all off, while I do not support the implementation of “COVID Passports” (in any form), I even offered to present proof of my inoculation. Still, I was told I could not attend. I have multiple friends and coworkers who are at this time, attending their spouse’s ultrasounds and doctor appointments in other locations in the same area. This facility was our number one choice and we were planning on utilizing them throughout the pregnancy and delivery but at this stage I have no faith in their competency due to a nonsensical, out of date, non-science based, corporate policy. I've been a patient of Dr. Erdman's since she came to GBMC. She is always thorough, gives clear explanations of exam results, and clear and thorough when responding to questions.

Always a pleasure going ! They are very responsive, and always following up on your well being. You naturally have a bond there, after all they made having two babies there a smooth transition! Always making you feel comfortable !

Dr. Erdman is so kind and understanding. She takes her time and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. Extremely caring , and treats patients with warmth.

I LOVE this practice. I recently delivered my first child with Dr. Erdman and Dr. Morrell, and Jeanette also cared for me during this pregnancy. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, not to mention some of the best healthcare providers I have ever had. Jenna and Amy, the sono technicians, are equally as sweet and compassionate. I absolutely love this practice. Dr. Erdman, Dr. Morrell, and Jeanette are just amazing. They are all so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable and I knew I was receiving the best possible care my entire pregnancy, during my delivery, and postpartum. I’m so grateful to have doctors that make you feel like family and are always there to listen to and address your concerns. Also, the office staff are just as wonderful. I changed to Dr. Erdman’s practice after finding out I was pregnant with my first child. I switched from another practice where I wasn’t happy and Dr. Erdman’s practice came highly recommend. I have been incredibly happy with every appointment and encounter I have had with Dr. Erdman, Dr. Morrell and Jeannette. I truly appreciate the care and compassion they showed me every visit as I navigated through my first pregnancy. My questions were always answered and I always received a return phone call if I left a message for them. Dr Erdman is the best at what she does. She delivered both of my children and completed a recent surgery. She is caring, comforting and simply the best. I recommend her to everyone, I trust her and wish I could see her for all my healthcare needs.

Dr. Erdman and her team are incredible. I have never had a bad experience in my 10+ years of being a patient. It's always easy to talk to someone, they run on time, they communicate well, and they are all so kind. Dr. Erdman is sensational. She is thoughtful and throughout. Once your baby is born, Erdman will leave you and your newborn for dead. Literally. Even just hours postpartum, in her own hospital. She is petrified of a lawsuit, and it shows. With the push across the country for more holistic, comprehensive care for women before, during and after childbirth, I encourage you to find someone else at another practice.

Dr. Erdman straight left me to die after the birth of my child. I wish I was exaggerating. Thank God for the ICU team at GBMC. If you’re looking for an OB who cares about you once the baby has arrived, steer clear from her and this practice.

Dr. Erdman, has, time and again, proven to be the most skilled and compassionate OBGYN I've ever seen. Even if it takes months to see her for visits (and it does, because she's so incredibly popular), it's worth it. She's gentle, kind, and extremely good at her job. The office manager, Jen (Jenn?), was also one of the most pleasant customer service people I've talked to. She personally fixed a billing miscommunication I had. The billing error was a miscommunication and not her fault, but she took responsibility anyway. It was not required of her to help me in the way she did, but she went the extra mile. She relieved me of an incredible burden. 5 of 5 stars, easily.

Awful . Don't recommend for expecting mothers!!!!

Used to be a patient of this office for over 33 years but once Dr Ottenritter left, Dr erdman, who had been on multiple different surgeries with me, would not take me on as a patient but did take on my daughter. Two weeks ago my daughter had a medical emergency that arises and when she called Dr erdman, she never responded. My daughter then went to emergent care and they faxed her reports onto Dr erdman for her to flow up with, and my daughter called to make sure they were received and left a second message. To this day , now three weeks, Dr erdman has never responded. Thank goodness for our family doctor looked at her reports, even though it should have been her gyn, and referred us to someone else who saw her immediately. I saw Dr. Erdman in 2005. She is wonderful. She provides awesome care and follow up. Her bedside manner is remarkable. If I still lived in Baltimore she would still be my doc.

Dr Erdman was my OB for my first child, who was premature and required an emergency c-section at work in Alexandria at 28 weeks. Dr. Erdman didn’t check on me, then didn’t return my calls when I reached out...at all. When I asked for a follow up appointment, she refused me completely. I was fairly ‘off’ (depressed) with my preemie (in the nicu for 45 days), who was 2 hours away and with no doctor willing to talk to me about what happened. Dr. Erdman refused to meet with me, stating that once the baby and mother were ok, it was not her concern. My sister called and asked for an appointment, because I was struggling (with PPD, which is normal with every pregnancy, but even more so with a pregnancy so premature), and Dr. Erdman again refused, but agreed to put me with a doctor (Male, no longer on the website, not sure about whether he’s with the practice) who told me that “all obstetricians are quacks and that they can’t predict anything”. I have no idea your circumstances, but be aware of this type of treatment. This treatment was crushing as a first time mom. I wanted to like her because she was recommended by a friend. But I will never forget how I was treated, like I was a problem, or a potential lawsuit. It was awful. Dr Erdman is the absolute best. She is very knowledgeable and considerate to each of her patient's individual needs. I am glad that she was recommended to me over 8 years ago and I am proud to recommend her to every single woman that I know.

Dr. Erdman and the other Dr's and nurses within the practice are phenomenal. I had my son via c-section and she was patient and understanding with all of my questions. I've seen Dr. Erdman for almost 13 years now. She delivered my son and has treated me before, during and after my somewhat difficult pregnancy and delivery. I always recommend Dr. Erdman to friends or coworkers looking for a new doctor. The office staff comes and goes (as do some minor complaints with the staff), but the medical treatment received is like no other!

I am 20 weeks pregnant and switched insurances. And was told I had to transfer to a different doctors office. I’ve only met Dr Erdman once and Deb the NP for the past few months. Both are very sweet and nice. But the issue I have is that the receptionist is very rude. She talks to people as if she was scolding a 4 yr old. She acts like she is annoyed with helping out. Dr. Erdman has been my OBGYN for almost 10 years. I've always felt very taken care of during our visits. She is a kind, conscientious, intelligent and sex-positive doctor, and one of the most trustworthy doctors I've had.

I've been a patient at Dr. Erdman's office for almost 10 years now and have NEVER had a good experience at the office. The front office is extremely rude and slow. I've never had less than a 45 minute wait. I was scheduled to have an IUD removal and reinsertion for an appointment recently and called TWICE to confirm that this was feasible after scheduling the appointment over 6 months in advance and was told at the office that it impossible to do that because they had confirmed with my insurance

After waiting for a hour in a paper gown with no update or apology at my last appointment (I was the first appointment of the day and scheduled this time with the assumption the doctor would be on time) and then being called today and being told my appointment that it took me 6 month to get was being canceled (they told me it would be another 6 months to get a new appointment), I am done with this practice. I work In healthcare and I am appalled at the disregard exhibited by this practice.

I'm relocating from MD to NJ. I am staying with family in MD from Mon to Fri. I contacted the Capital Women's based on a referral and explained I was 32 weeks pregnant. They asked me to send my medical records so the doctor can review. After 2 weeks sitting on the records and no one calling me back, I called to make an appt. They said they could not accept me as a patient because I was 34 weeks pregnant!! Complete waste of my time, no follow up at all, no decency/care for people!! Do Better!
