Star rating is intended for desk staff. Certain staff members are useless and uncaring. Here’s one incident: Home Health Care nurse called Levine’s office from our home with a simple request. Would they please ask doctor to sign off on a request placed days ago for permission to replace a Foley catheter that had been in for too long? Our nurse explained she needed to do this NOW because she had other patients to see and had to leave. A half hour later, and still no call back. Our nurse called Levine’s Office again, and turns out staff had not personally asked Dr yet, just left a message. They said they would get back to our nurse “later,” despite knowing this was urgent. Nurse left our house, saying she would have to come back. Much later, she got Levine’s signature., but was an hour away! We believe staff member she dealt with was beyond uncaring. This staff frequently continues talking to each other while patients wait to check in or out. They are very unprofessional.
