Absolutely worst doctor at MD Anderson!! Will question people that aren’t even his patients like they’re criminals and has NO bed side manner! He makes me and my husband feel uncomfortable every time we visit him . I love all of my husbands doctors but him and we NEVER look forward to his appointments. He shouldn’t work at a cancer hospital! Rude , makes you feel uncomfortable, and always has an attitude! My husband left with no medication while having a broken arm and was told it wasn’t his problem .

Dr. Driver was warm, empathetic, comforting and really took the time to listen to the issues that I was struggling with after a brain cancer surgery. He was able to create a plan for me to be able to use several modalities to keep as much pain as possible at bay, while enjoying the joy in each day. I very much appreciated his kindness and willingness to always go the extra mile to obtain equipment, cold pack, medicine, or whatever we agreed would be the best combination for excellent pain relief. I have always felt comfortable and well cared for by the staff in Dr. Driver's office.

Going through the pain management department at md anderson houston, texas is horrible with Dr driver. It's like begging for medicine. I have been a cancer patient at md anderson for several years and it stresses me out knowing I have to deal with him. Him and his assistants don't believe you have or are in pain plus pain management drs when your hospitalized they don't want you to use the pain buttons at all to report good numbers while in pain. Back to driver he doesn't believe you can be in pain even though I have evidence of procedures done all over me from the same hospital. It's like begging for medicine. Manners are way off and cold you might as well be talking to a wall to ask for compassion because he doesn't care to see you even if your in severe pain. All my other doctors have even seen me while in pain and told me to call patient advocacy there to complain. I've complained before about the hospital and how staff are but MD doesn't do anything. Get someone else.

Dr. Driver lacks compassion & empathy. His heart has become hardened & can l thinking everyone is a "drug seeker". I've had several encounters with him & heard similar stories from other patients. After I had to have a spinal tap, I needed a blood patch in my spine. I DID ask for pain medicine, because I knew it was going to be very painful. Dr. Driver told me that asking for pain medication was the 1st step to addiction. I wasn't given anything & was screening into a pillow. It was HELL!
