My wife had hip replacement and a year later shoulder replacement by Dr. Bear. Both went very well. She recovered well and has no pain. Very pleased with the surgery and the care by Dr. Bear. I would recommend him very highly. He is one of the kindest caring doctors I have ever met. Also the staff at his clinic are kind and caring too.

Wouldn’t treat with anyone else for my orthopedic needs. Kind, caring, personable and highly skilled.

I second everything the other reviews said. I picked my new insurance plan specifically so that I had the freedom to see him without referral. It's not just his skill, but also the fact that he looks you in the eye and REALLY listens when you talk to him, or have questions, rather than just the occasional glance up from the chart and the "uh huh" responses. I know he has a busy office and has other appointments, but he clearly understands the role and value that a patient plays in their own healthcare and gives you the time and attention that you deserve. After two rotator cuff repairs by other MD's, I tore it a third time. I had seen Dr. Bear for other stuff and I liked the way he does things, especially the way he explains things, including the part about it may or may not be successful. I felt it can't feel any worse so he fixed it a third time. Physical therapy went well and I knew after the other two fixes, it'll never be normal but I'm able to do just about anything I could before. My wife had failed carpal tunnel on both wrists with another surgeon so I felt Dr. Bear was the guy to fix them. We'll see him tomorrow, Aug 29th.

Dr Bear treated my wife after a fall resulting in a broken ankle in 3 places. We consider him to be one of the best. He is very skilled as a doctor, caring and professional. He makes a patient feel like family, does not rush to meet a quota, finds a way to get things done and is respected in the community. If you need Orthopedic care he will serve you well.

Best surgical experience; compassionate, highly skilled healer.

Dr. Bear has taken care of several issues for me. I trust him, very caring and takes care of the problems! Takes a little time to get to see him as he is very busy but so worth the wait. His office staff is warm and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Dr. Bear is one of the most caring, attentive doctors I have ever had. He spends time to get t9 know his patients and to answer any questions. He allows you to be part of your treatment plan.

Dr. Bear conducted a knee replacement on my mother's right knee. The surgery and post surgery went smoothly. The staff and Dr. Bear were organised, courteous, and professional. In particular, when I called to inquire about the pain level and swelling, etc., Katie (sp) was helpful. If I was unable to speak with someone helpful, Katie returned my call later. One point that would be helpful would be to speak to the doctor after the initial post appointments. Highly recommended Dr. Bear.

Dr. Bear was excellent. I have seen many surgeons in search of help for pain from a PAO surgery on my hip several years ago. A lot of surgeons seem to push going straight to surgery to "fix" you whether it will help or not; Dr. Bear does not do that. He truly cares about your health and well being and puts every effort into finding a way to help even if that means finding a specialist that he feels would be better suited to help.

When I met Dr. Bear I couldn't lift my right arm over my head... November 12, 2015 that started to change. I did my exercises and used hot water on my shoulder and just listened to my body. I am 90 + - % back and Lovin it. Thanks Dr. Bear

I Cheryl wilson. Have never been treated so kindly as I have by Dr Bear and all staff associated with him

He seems quite competent. Repeated experiences with the desk staff, however, destroyed all confidence I had in him. Their treatment of patients reveals poor training, complete disorganization, and an utter lack of communication within the office. I recommend that you avoid risk and find another surgeon.
