Follow-up care is my biggest complaint of all that prompts me to write this. It's non existent and left me begging for time to talk about my issues. The follow-up appointment after giving birth is basically free because it's billed as a package to insurance, so she didn't want to spend more than 5 min total in the exam or talking about my issues. I had an obvious complication that could be seen EXTERNALLY and my concerns were left ignored and after consulting with 3 OB specialty surgeons, it's confirmed that my complication was OBVIOUS and ignored. I am now facing a surgery, due to an undiagnosed issue that could have, and SHOULD have been diagnosed early on, and will have to heal all over again. Greed is the driver here. Dr. Powell started off by spending a lot of time with me during the early stages of pregnancy, and then once I was in the final stretch of the pregnancy, the tables turned. She became rushed and pushy. Oh, and she loves her Pitocin to speed things up!

Avoid this doctor if you are a complex case. She refuses to optimize care for the best outcomes. She will not do personalized medicine or listen to patients. Her staff is highly disorganized. I would avoid this doctor.

Dr. Powell delivered my 10lb 5oz baby this week she was amazing. I had previously had a 9lb 4oz baby who had gotten his shoulder stuck so she knew to prepare for a shoulder delivery. She was like the goddess of delivery she had me move around to reposition the baby helped my body stretch and basically helped pull him out of me. I can't recommend anyone else for obgyn. This office is the WORST to work with. I've been waiting for Dr. Powell to call me back for more than 3 months now! Melissa and MaryAnn both said they would have the Dr. call me and after trying to follow up... here I am still waiting for a call. They take your money and treat you like garbage! Saw her this morning....with the news of the CV numbers growing..... she is grace under fire, handling her busy practice steadfastly. She is a skilled doctor with great communication skills. I am happy to have found her! ????

The visit was met with pleasant and courteous staff. I was able to obtain the results of my visit, while still there. I feel very comfortable with Dr Powell

The staff is awesome. Dr. Powell always spends so much time with me and answers all my questions. And Maryanne is so welcoming and friendly. I always feel like I’m getting elite care.

Dr. Powell is a wonderful doctor. She has delivered my children and I've been going to her for 8 years now. Her office staff is very friendly and never wait long. She does have a lot of people in her care though because it is difficult to get an appointment for an annual check-up. She always has time for her pregnant Mamas. But that's a good thing! She also has an option to use jellybeans for the glucose test when pregnant instead of the nasty orange drink. Winner! Dr. Powell is a wonderful doctor. Dr. Powell is definitely very busy but she still manages to take the time to listen and to answer any/all questions. She’s personable and always put me at ease especially being pregnant during the pandemic.. I’m glad I had a doctor like her. She delivered my baby girl c section and I felt very safe under her care. Her staff is also very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend Dr. Powell is definitely very busy but she still manages to take the time to listen and to answer any/all questions. My wife is a patient of Powell's. She had her second ultrasound appointment today. I (husband) joined the appointment via video call. Dr. Powell is amazing and always listens to whatever your concerns may be.

Dr. Powell is a rock star in the delivery room and at the office. She is super knowledgeable, has a caring demeanor, and provides a little comic relief too!

I have been to over 5 doctors trying to figure out what’s been going on with me over the course of 2-3 years. Dr. Powell is the first dr. I have been to that does not just say “here you go” or “let’s try this” and just try’s to stick a bandage on it leaves. She talked with me, had a conversation with me, explained why things happen, and was very thorough with all possibilities. She wanted to find the root of the problem, not just prescribe medication to treat my symptoms. The first doctor I’ve been to that made sense, and communicated with me. My mom now plans on switching to her as well because of how happy we were with how she handled my situation and how patient she was. The nurses also were amazing patient with me and very understanding. Overall the best doctor I have ever been to! Dr Powell is the most compassionate, kind and caring person. She asks about you and really cares. I lost my Dad in Dec to cancer. She apologized for his loss and truly allowed me to share. I was emotional and her eyes were teary too. She could relate as she lost her Grandfather that she was extremely close with. She makes you feel so comfortable. Her questions in regards to health and corresponding advice show her professional and medical expertise in her field. She’s top notch. I give her 10 Stars. Thank you Dr. Powell. You’re the best. The staff is very friendly and Doctor Powell is so caring and warm. You feel safe with her.

I’ve been going to Dr. Powell for 8 years and I can’t imagine a better OB/GYN. Her staff, Dr. Lee, and herself are so kind and friendly. They handle delicate issues with care and always make me feel so comfortable.

Today was the first time I have ever been to this office or seen Dr. Powell but my experience was good. The office was clean, her staff was kind, I didn’t wait long at all and Dr. Powell was lovely. She has a great bedside manner and I felt very comfortable around her. Bonus that they have real gowns not just the paper ones!

I’ve been going to Dr. Powell since 2010 and find her to be an amazing physician. I’ve had a lot of complications during my pregnancies and she’s been there through it all. Everyone in the office is very friendly and I’m able to get in quickly if it’s an emergency.

I have been with Dr. Powell since 2007 and all of sudden in January-February she totally changed her attitude toward her patients. I have a history of fibroids that just began a couple years ago and had surgery to remove them. I am anemic which the bleeding does not help. I was in a state of emergency back in February and called her office at the advise of my hem/once Dr and primary care physician and Dr. Powell never returned my calls at all. ended up in hospital switched dr's don't go to her!
