Dr. Lan A Bui

Although I have been seeing Dr Bui for over 10 years , I will not be back. Yesterday was the third year in a row that I have asked for the first appointment so I can work around my work hours and AGAIN I waited for over an hour in the room. When I walked in the girl at the front counter was not interested in me being there ( maybe if you do not like your job , look for another one) I then asked her after 20 minutes if it was going to be much longer as I need to be out within an hour and she yes, they are coming now to get you. Once I was in the room I waited another hour and had to leave. Missed a meeting at work and wasted my time and gas, which I will be billing them for. If they would have been honest the last three visits and just let me know they were running behind or even checking in with me it would have been better than leaving a patient in a room for an hour!! Dr. Bui took the time to listen to me and my health concerns. She helped me understand what my insurance company may or may not allow for treatment of my extremely heavy periods. In November 2020 I ended up in the hospital with extreme blood loss due to my heavy period and she supported my choice of a hysterectomy and helped me navigate getting the approval from the insurance company. I’m grateful for her expertise and professionalism. She listens to her patients and uses wisdom and discernment to help guide them to the best decision for their health.

I remember calling this office back in June and honestly the receptionist lady was totally awful. The first few minutes of been on the phone with her, she blew me off & just said there's no appt till late sept for a new patient & just ended the call. I didn't even feel like calling back, it was very unprofessional & rude.

Dr. Lan Bui made my experience quick and easy. She's super nice and also her assistant Ryley was very helpful as well. I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Dr. Bui when my previous gynecologist retired. Dr. Bui has been amazing the entire time I’ve known her. She is not only very informative to her patients, she is very insightful in helping explain how anything works. Be that your body, a surgery, or finding from a test. She explains things thoroughly and in a way that helps you completely understand what is happening so you know that you are in the best hands. She has performed two procedures on me in the hospital, and each procedure went well , and there were no complications. I had the NovaSure uterine ablation done by her, and the results were the best. I should have done it sooner but I’m glad I finally did it. No more heavy cycles , no more fears of embarrassing accidents .I can now actually function and live without painful cramping and heavy bleeding. It was just what I needed. And Dr. Bui was there to explain everything and assure me that the procedure is safe and that she will take very good care of me. And she did .Best decision I ever made and I would recommend anyone considering it (if you are done having children) to not only do it ,but if you are close by have Dr. Bui as your surgeon . I had a hysterectomy done by Dr Bui and I felt we worked together to make that decision. She explained every option and then allowed me to choose what I was comfortable with. She is trustworthy & caring.

Today was my first time at this office...(and even though they didn’t take my insurance) I am actually considering switching just so I can continue to go here! The staff is all so friendly and helpful! The Nurses and Dr. Bui were also extremely friendly and so informative! They made me feel so comfortable and they took their time to not only talk to me but to teach me things! I didn’t feel rushed at all and they were very personable! I recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Bui has been my doctor since I was in my early twenties. She is very professional and caring. She always has you’re best interest at heart. I recommend her to all women young and old. Hands down the best gynecologist I’ve ever had. The office is very clean and, the staff is very nice.

She is the best !!!! Delivered two of my children. One via csection! She has the hands of an angel . Listens to all concerns and she is very proactive is all diagnostic treatments. I couldn’t have had a better experience with her and all the staff at her office . I can’t recommend her highly enough. ??

I have been seeing Dr Bui for annual checks, but this year needed treatment for excessive bleeding. Dr Bui made sure I had blood drawn, an ultrasound, and conservative treatment first before we discussed a hysterectomy. I have never felt rushed at appointments, she made sure I understood everything, and with both telecalls and appointments in person I felt well cared for.

On October 28th I had an open myomectomy and I am healing beautifully! I am very happy to have met Dr. Bui. She is for sure on her A game.

I absolutely love Dr Bui, Dr K and their staff. I’ve been a patient since maybe 2006(ish). She is kind, understanding and matter of fact. I appreciate her staff personable personalities. I’ve talk to Dr Bui about weight loss, work stress, relationship issues you name it. She’s always provided sound advice. She’s not one of those Drs that prescribes a pill for everything, but gives you alternative options. Because sometimes we have to work on us first. I interrupted the staffs Christmas party because another Dr where I was delivering wasn’t telling me why I couldn’t go home after completing my stress test when I was overdue. Dr Bui stepped away from the party called and reassured me everything was going to be fine and she’s going to see me soon. (My first child I was freaking out) Dr K performed my C section. Dr. Lan Bui and staff were so nice, so knowledgeable, and SO helpful! The front office staff was extremely friendly. The back office medical assistants were understanding, kind, and fun. Dr. Lan Bui, herself, was extremely knowledgeable and she took her time during the appointment to explain everything to me and didn't rush me whatsoever even though I had many questions for her. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease the whole time. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. Dr. Rula Al-Aouar was very fast, in and out but it felt very transactional. She was speaking so fast I had no idea what was really happening. Very uncomfortable.

I was a new patient as of October 2018 On my first visit, got there 15 mins early, completed paperwork, and waited to be called to the back After about 30 mins, I overheard someone in the office, upset about the wait; she had been there 40 mins; she was advised the doctor was running an hour behind Needless to say I was instantly frustrated; all I need is communication; when I sign in let me know the doctor is running behind; allow me to reschedule or maybe I can run and get a bite to eat; the office charges me, a full appointment, if I am 15 mins late yet did not give me the courtesy to let me know the doctor was running behind; all together I was at the office 90 mins and again this was my first visit; Dr Bui overall good counselor; she calmed me down and apologized; she was very informative and I trusted her advised. Second visit, I signed in and sat down to wait; after 15 mins I ask the office receptionist if they doctor was behind; needless to say, yes and once again no common courtesy by advising of the delay; however this is the doctor’s office I TRUST with my health Final visit, I go for a procedure and was advised to take this medicine 6-12 hours before the biopsy; I take it that morning and head to work; when I got to work my entire body was in pain; I couldn’t bend over I couldn’t stand up; I didn’t know what the heck was going on; I told my boss I felt like I was having a baby so he looked the medicine up for me; it was Misoprostol - soften their cervix or induce contractions to begin labor. I was at work I called the doctor she advised Ibuprofen which I took already; I felt like I was in labor. If you have been in labor before, like I have, I don’t remember anyone asking for Motrin lol anyways I finally get to the office crying about the whole ordeal; let’s get this over with; at first it was a problem getting through my uterus (horrifying pain) crying the entire visit; I was told if I couldn’t handle it, I would have to go to the hospital to have it done. I sure wish I had that option in the first place; I know this procedure is needed however the entire ordeal was TERRIBLE. My body has not been the same since; my entire mood is off; I just got gutted in the back and yet dismissed; man I had felt like this since my last c-section 16 years ago I know what all to expect now so hopefully when I find a new doctor, they will take the test results from Dr Bui office and give me the concern and care I need. Well I can say I will never go back. The staff was really nice though but I just didn’t like Dr Lan Bui. My first problem was two people entering the room and asking me questions, I felt like I am in a curt room and trying to defend myself why I have certain problems. While the second person, who was her assistant, keep jumping in the middle of my conversation with the Dr. I was feeling so uncomfortable and nervous during the visit. My second problem was, the Dr’s impatience to “listen”. I am here at your office because I need help I want you to hear and show some empathy even if you don’t care you should at least “ pretend” that you care. I was so angry when my appointment was ended. I was thinking why I should even pay for something that I hated and didn’t get the hep I was looking for! My Thrid problem was, after I didn’t set up the second appointment at her office. The next day,I was keep getting calls, email, text about me needing to schedule and appointment! After years of having bladder leakage. I spoke with Dr. Bui and she encouraged me to try Votiva. The procedure was painless and I noticed results right away. A positive side effect was this procedure also helped with vaginal dryness. Votiva has been life changing, I would recommend this procedure!!!

I went to Dr. Bui for my routine check up during pregnancy. She was good and always gave honest opinion for recommendations I asked for . I lover her, she made me feel like my well being was her top priority.

Dr Bui has been my OBGYN for the last 8 years. She did my endometrial ablation (Novasure) 5 years ago and I've had exceptional results. It literally got my life back! Dr Bui is very knowledgable, experienced and her staff is top notch. I recommend Dr. Bui and Khraizat to all my friends :)

I went to Dr Bui to help with extremely heavy periods, resulting in severe anemia. From my initial appointment, she was thorough and informative. She explained all the procedures and tests I needed in detail. She fully explained, with diagrams, all the options I had available and each ones chances of success/side effects. In the end, I needed a hysterectomy. She guided me through all the upcoming stages with care and concern. She makes you feel like you are her only patient. ONE GREAT DOCTOR!

I have endometriosis and it took me years to get diagnosed. My symptoms were not typical so many doctors dismissed endometriosis as a possibility. I was starting to think I was crazy! Dr. Bui really listened to me and my body and was able to give me not only a diagnosis but a plan that allows me to be pain-free finally!

Dr. Bui is the second physician to ever make me feel completely at ease and comfortable. I have full trust in her. She takes her time out to sit down and explain everything with you. She is never in a rush and never makes you feel like she doesnt have time for you. You can tell she actually cares about you. She is very intelligent ad confident which makes me feel very safe. I am blessed to have a doctor that takes time to listen and also is doing what I need to help me.

There aren't enough words to express how extremely grateful I am to Dr. Lan Bui. Speaking post-op from a very necessary surgery, I have a unique vantage point of Dr. Bui's multi-faceted talent. Dr. Bui became my doctor through high recommendation as I desperately searched for a second opinion. Dr. Bui's professional, attentive, and very knowledgeable approach is so reassuring. Ultimate kudos- I will absolutely bring my daughters to her. Dr. Lan Bui supersedes the title of doctor- a true healer.

Dr. Bui delivered 2 out of 3 of my children for me. I am a person of fear and she made things at ease for me and I felt so confident of myself during labor because of her support. She is a very intelligent doctor with lots of experience. Thank you Dr. Bui. You and your partner are amazing.
