The whole team deserves a big shout out... Not just the Brighton office but the Novi Bone and Joint surgical center as well. I was a patient in 2016 and more recently in fall of 2022. From a badly injured rotator cuff to reverse shoulder replacement. They're proficiency is remarkable and the combined efforts of Teamwork is notable. Dr. Farjo did a labral tear and impingement repair on both my hips this in the last few months. I am beyond pleased with him, his team and the outcome. My recovery was smooth and much easier than I’ve read about with other surgeons. He’s truly perfected his profession and it shows. The staff at the Novi Bone and Joint center where both surgeries were performed were amazing. His team there are very professional, timely and make sure you are comfortable. They even remembered me when I came in for my second procedure. His PT team is amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and have helped me recover quickly. I am so grateful I was directed to him and his team for the procedure on both my hips. I haven’t felt this good in 20+ years.

Always an efficient and pleasant experience at Dr. Farjo's office. Scheduled my third arthroscopic knee surgery, never fun, but Dr. Farjo makes having this surgery bearable. His pleasant and friendly nature lessens my fear about having surgery, and his unmatched skill makes it successful.

My experience with Dr. Farjo was amazing!! When he first looked at my MRI he said I had a massive tare in my Rotator Cuff. Wasn't sure if he could fix it. But with his magic skills he was able to repair it. But a few months later I fell on my surgery shoulder and tore it again. Since then I have had several months off to let it heal. He isn't pushing another surgery but he said at the end of my "vacation" I will decide if I can live with the few "hiccups" I'm having or due surgery for a new shoulder. Dr Farjo is a gem! He has treated a number of our family, mostly injuries from playing sports but also surgery doing repair on my meniscus and replacing two torn tendons, excellent results. He is personable, kind, professional and a master at his craft. I'd recommend to anyone!

Have had both knee and both shoulders repaired by Dr. Farjo with great success. Have also recommended Dr. Farjo to sevral family members with great success, even my 89 year old mother who was told by other surgeon to just live with the pain. Dr Farjo was able to get her quality of life back.

Dr. Farjo was able to fix the pain that countless other doctors were not able to diagnose. He is an excellent surgeon and is the best at what he does. I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon!

Dr Farjo and his staff are great! Unfortunately for me, I have had shoulder surgery twice with him. I would, and have highy reccomend him to anyone who wants a first class experience if you ever need an orthopedic procedure. Physical therapy at Advanced Orthopedics is also top notch!

Not sure where to quite begin!! Dr Farjo is heaven sent.. From the time you enter until the time you leave amazing staff representation.. He supersedes his capabilities.. Recovery is amazing, the incisions are so minute, pain is normally minimum... Unfortunately, I have had a lot of surgeries performed by Dr.Farjo. My Rotator Cuff had 2 severed muscles. My first Ortho Dr told me it was inoperable, so I waited over a year, then I got my second opinion with Dr Farjo. After successful surgery, he was able to give me back my life. I am so grateful. His office staff and PT staff are also great. I would highly recommend Dr Farjo.

Dr. Farjo has worked on both of my shoulders. This last time I was able to have my own stem cells used on/in my shoulder. The difference between my level of pain post operatively between the two surgeries was night and day. Both surgeries went better than expected. This surgeon has no peers in my opinion. I had shoulder surgery done by Dr. Farjo and the whole experience was flawless. His team made me feel comfortable as I had never had surgery before, they made sure I understood every step of the process, no surprises. That made the surgery feel much less scary.

After dealing with a previous orthopedic doctor for years of shoulder use and abuse it took me telling the doctor to DO a shoulder surgery which did find a bone spur. So to no surprise when my hip started showing its wear, again he went down the dame path of injections and PT. I am an owner & instructor of a pilates studio and when I couldn't even do my own workouts I knew I had to make a change! One of my pilates clients and a great friend told me they had their hip fixed by Dr Laith Farjo I knew I had to go check him out for a second opinion. I instantly liked Dr Farjo's ease with clients as well as his knowledge of my situation. After ordering and then seeing the MRI, we both knew what was already there, a torn labrum. My surgery went smoothly as did my recovery and PT. My surgery was the very end of July and less than 3 months later I was back on a reformer working out again! After seeing 2 other physicians for my hip labral tear, I found Dr. Farjo. He educated me about my dysfunction, gave me treatment options with pros and cons of each and we planned my surgery as a team. He and his staff were wonderful throughout the whole process despite a delay do to Covid-19. The hip labrum repair performed with stem cell therapy has made a huge difference in my ability to be more active with daily activities as well as recreational endeavors. I know others who have had similar surgeries with other surgeons and my recovery has been much smoother and faster. Dr. Farjo is so outstanding and professional in his field. My carpal tunnel surgery on December 29 was my third surgery with Dr. farjo. My other two (right and left rotator cuff surgeries) healed wonderfully and that’s why I came back to him for my carpal tunnel. I am confident that it will heal better than new. Always waited 45 mins to get called back, just to see Dr Farjo for 1 min in the room. He repaired my ACL& did multiple other knee scopes& my knee continuously got worse. I have around the clock pain& it is not getting better. I went back & forth with him for almost 1 year until I went to someone else& was told I had a posterior meniscal tear& that was part of my chronic pain. February hip surgery to remove bone spurs and reattach cartilage went wonderfully. This surgery was far less painful than expected and the outcome has been terrific. I have high praise for Dr Fargo, his physical therapy staff, and office.

Please excuse this very long endorsement but, I beg you to read it compleatly as it concerns my personal experience a great doctor!! Dr. Farjo is the foremost orthopedic surgeon in Michigan. Strictly by personal experience of course, but with backup testimony . Dr. Farjo was extemely professional, friendly, and showed he cared above and beyond any doctor I have previously met. So for some history. I am now 77 years old and had compleatly, totally, torn out my entire left rotator cuff. This was over a year and a half ago. I had been doing more and more damage since, doing heavy labor with my arm. This June 2019 I underwent the repair surgery. Everything went extreamly well showing his technical and talented experience. After the required healing time I began physical therapy. This is where the testimony comes in. At the physical therapists everyone commented on my range of motion. every week or two, they kept stating how far advanced I was I growing in my ability to retrain my muscles. So when three and a half months has passed, they all tell me that I am now over six weeks ahead of schedule. My coach told me that, that was as far as they could reasonably expect improvement. further instructions being , continue home exercises as long as I desired.They included that they knew of Dr. Farjo and all had admired his ability. During my visits to Dr. Farjo while at rehab., he continued to be the same friendly, caring, information giving, upbeat Dr. I first met. Dr. Farjo had previously repaired a knee injury, and was the only doctor I considered seeing with my hip injuries. I needed a total of 4 different surgeries to correct everything and am now successfully running 5k's. Thanks not only to him, but his wonderful staff.

I had a shoulder replaced a few years ago in another state. I moved to Brighton and needed a shoulder manipulation. Since another surgeon did the surgery (2000 miles away) he refused to see me. As a doctor whose job is to help people, I found this repugnant. It is ok though. If he does not want to see me, I definitely don’t want to see him

Dr. Farjo has operated on both of my shoulders and both times things went just as expected. Actually the second surgery went better than expected. And his staff is the best.

Everything relating to my shoulder problem, from start to finish, was handled in the most professional way I could have ever imagined. From Dr. Farjo's expertise to his. PA's, and the office staff, it was the best experience I could have hoped for.

Dr. Farjo and his staff were kind, professional and responsive. My situation was quickly diagnosed and thoroughly explained to me. The necessary surgery was scheduled immediately and performed in such a manner that I was walking (with crutches) later that day. Every time i have an appointment its like 45 minutes to an hour before the doctor ends up seeing me. This not only is frustrating but very unprofessional. Please learn how to schedule your appointments. Haha ridiculous.. My recommendation is to find a different dr.

I had a torn labrum in my hip and spent years in Physical Therapy. The Therapy helped but never solved the problem. Dr. Farjo did a great job on my hip and I feel much better than I have in years.

My 17 year old son is a competitive soccer player and was dealing with hip pain for over 2 years. He was finally diagnosed with a tear in his labrum. Dr. Farjo was extremely patient and knowledgeable in answer all of our questions. His medical center staff were amazing and made a very nervous mom and 17 year old feel very comfortable. I am 57 years young had a labrum tear in my shoulder, 2 bone spurs and bursitis. Everything was as they said it would be with exceptional care. I think having their own physical therapy is extremely beneficial as file and conditions are shared between the two connected offices. I was diligent in following all instructions for icing and pt exercises. I could not be happier with the outcome. I have no pain and full range of motion. I would highly recommend Dr. Farjo. Excellent highly skilled surgeon!!! Dr. Farjo repaired my right shoulder 8 years ago, and when I needed the left one repaired last December, going back to Dr. Farjo was a no-brainer. He has an extremely well organized office staff and his PA's are first class. Shoulder surgery is no fun, but when you have complete confidence in the surgeon and staff taking care of you, it makes the in the experience in total well worth it. Did a great job fixing my hip without having to cut me wide open!

About 2 years after a successful rotator cuff repair my tissues started to tear again. Then I put up with two years of progressively worse constant shoulder pain and limited motion until I couldn’t handle it anymore. Dr Farjo did a reverse shoulder replacement and aside from incisional pain there was no pain. No shoulder pain. After 6 weeks of physical therapy I had nearly full range of motion. I highly recommend Dr Farjo to anyone with shoulder issues. M Strocel, CRNA

I thought the whole process of working with Dr Farjo and Advanced Ortho went smoothly. 5 months later after an 80% quadricep tendon tear in my knee, I am back to most activities.

Dr. Farjo is an excellent surgeon. He performed rotator cuff surgery which was a success. I saw Dr. Farjo to get a second opinion because the previous Dr. I saw didn't think it was possible to fix it again. (Had surgery on the same shoulder in the past) Anyway, he performed the surgery and I would go back to him again if I need to for any other issues that might come up. Staff is always nice and helpful.

Had a hip arthoscopy sugery with Dr. Farjo. Turned out great and at every appointment I felt listened to and he took the time to answer all my questions. Before I had the surgery I saw several doctors and he was by far the one I felt most comfortable with. I have also seen him for knee and shoulder concerns and he is always very caring.

Fixated on joint replacement rather than patient functionality and health. Although of late this practice appears to be more attuned. I do not recommend him.

I was still on crutches until the 5th month and ran 50ft for the 1st time at 18 months. I had a second labral tear in the same hip 29 months later. Both shoulders repaired, bone spurs, torn rotator cuffs. Paunfull, took most of a year to be back at full strength but excellent results, active 51 year old with zero complaints. Rehab facility excellent as well.

Dr. Farjo has repaired both of my shoulders and has done an excellent job on both. It is wonderful to be able to reach over my head again. He also has the right people working there.

From the time you start the experience with the office staff and Dr. Fargo it is a 5 star experience. The staff is very efficient and caring. You can tell everyone is trained and knows their job. Dr. Fargo has some of the best bedside manners. You can feel that he is concerned. He makes sure that you know everything about your treatment and what to expect. Dr. Farjo repaired my left rotator cuff back in 2005 and after healing it was as good as new and I am happy to say that my recent right rotator cuff surgery went just as well. An over all great experience as far as surgeries go.

Gifted sergeon very greedy with pain meds post op. Pain levels after shoulder surgery were horrendous and I was never informed how bad it could be after such a procedure. Also misrepresented how much the pain block I payed extra for would work ( did nothing!)

Dr. Farjo has tremendously improved my life! He is very knowledgeable, and he treated my hip condition that went misdiagnosed for 8 years. He definitely puts my needs first and is willing to work on treatment plans that fit with my busy life. The appointments are quick (I rarely have to wait past my appointment time to be brought back to an exam room), and x-rays are done in the office (which is very convenient). Dr. Farjo is amazingly kind, and I feel very comfortable being treated by him!

Dr. Farjo is by far the most caring, understanding and wonderful bedside manner doctor. He listens to everything you have to say and is always in the know of new treatments. I had excellent results. Diagnosis, preop, postop and physical therapy exceeded all my expectations.

I was in so much pain prior to my surgery. Before, during, and after the surgery, Dr. Farjo and his staff answered all of my questions and responded very quickly. They were very attentive to my concerns. My arm/shoulder feels so much better and everyone was wonderful and I am happy to be pain free!
