I went 25 years on pain medications and still in pain! I met Dr. KIM and he put a Boston Scientific stimulator in my back and it took my pain away. Now I am off all my pain medications! I feel so fortunate to have met Dr. Kim for this reason. He has always taken time with explaining just what he is going to do or how he feels I am doing. I have been in a wheelchair for 22 years, it is fair to say I have met a great number of doctors. I walked out of my appointment with Dr. Kim in under six minutes. 'Rude' does not do the man's behavior justice.

Horrible pain specialist doctor Kim twice billed my insurance company just to tell me no. I do not recommend this place .he does not care about your pain obviously, it seems like he only cares about the money He should look for a new job maybe at Walmart

Dr. Kim is one of the best doctors in the PNW. He is thorough and never rushes the appointment. Several weeks ago I had a pinched nerve flare up that left me in severe pain. He scheduled me for the next day and did an epidural injection that took the pain away immediately. He was gentle, quick and always made sure I was comfortable. His staff is A+ and kind. I had an electronic paintrial July 2012, then a pain pump installed August 2012. Dr was extremely helpful, exceptionally nice and took great care of me until April 2014 when I moved out of state. I see the negative reviews and wonder how much demand these people are putting on the professional, who has spent years taking care of, seeing the character of patients who may be pushing the limit on what they're looking for. Are they telling doctor what they want or are they looking for the best options available. Meaning; are they drug seeking? I've been u enough clinics and seen enough drug seekers to understand what doctors are up against. When a patient is so negatively reviewing, it makes me wonder if they couldn't get what they 'wanted'. Just my opinion, I personally loved doctor and he did wonders for me, titrating me down from high doses of medications to minimal in my pain pump, exactly where I needed it the most. Been seeing dr Kim over 10 years. He is amazing. He cares about his patients and the staff is all great !

Dr. Kim and his staff have treated me with the utmost kindness and consideration. I appreciate the valuable advice and treatment that he has provided to me. Dr. Kim is an outstanding doctor.

He was not as bad as everyone is saying. I think people interpret his behavior as non caring, when it is just a cultural difference.

Mean spirited. Not a good doctor at all

He isn't a caring dr. He isn't supportive. Why is it so hard to find a good Dr?. These kind of Dr show that any idiot can be a doctor

My husband has been suffering from RA for about 15 years. In the past he has had some amazing specialists!!! Unfortunately they have either moved to a different state or are now out of network. He was passed off to Dr Kim. His compassion for his patient is minimal. His office staff haven’t been much help either. Getting scripts has been a nightmare. Have missed doses several times because they don’t transfer the information to the pharmacy. Have been battling to get records, labs,and images to a different dr. They have been extremely difficult and simply don’t care about making this transition easy. I had been in pain for about 8 Months, I meant Dr. Kim at 3:00 PM and my pain was gone by 3:20 PM ***** Five Stars

I have been a patient since 2011 for failed back surgery. Didn’t actually see dr Kim for a year and a half after being in the er and at that time dr Kim first words was “are you seeking attention?” Turned out I had two autoimmune diseases. Every 3 to 4 months there is a new dr so they never get to know the patient. After not seeing Kim for well over three years,“ because another dr left”, I was told I tested positive for an illegal drug and was released. It’s a false positive, He didn’t care.

Check out other sites for reviews of this doctor. His sense of self has changed dramaticly, from the time he published his biography. I have been under pain management since 1994. NEVER, EVER, from ANY doctor, have I been treated so rudely. No smile, no handshake... just a preconceprion, that I was not worth treating. His examination, was long and excruciating. My body was throbbing for days. He doesn't have a clue about Adhesive Arachnoiditis. He was just mean!

Dr. Kim was never in the office a Dr. Vo who was new was doing the treatment. Dr. Vo was doing the best he could. However the policy of waiting two weeks before I was accepted and then two more weeks for a face to face appointment and then two more weeks before my injection, was unbelievable. Then my records were lost and I was billed for cost that were not authorized by my insurance which took a month to resolve. This office is the worst medical office I have ever visited in my life.

Dr. Kim is an extremely knowledgeable physician, who naturally is going to be cautious with new patients seeking medication. After the initial evaluation and proceeding to therapy he is very gentle and kind. His procedures have been virtually painless, from epidurals to IV's to refilling my pain pump. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I had come from Seattle Pain Center, which was closed in July, and I have legitimate chronic pain-from chronic pancreatitis. I also have a pain pump in my abdomen which dispenses medication. His manner is very cold and I was treated as if I am an addict, which I am not. Has an attitude of distrust, is operating out of fear. I am not the only person who came from Seattle Pain Center who was treated this way. Requires a psychiatrist appt. for treatment. Do not recommend.

I have seen Dr Kim for over 7 years. He has helped me to open my mind and change my thoughts on chronic pain. He doesn't want patients addicted to pills. He is a very kind man who is serious about his profession and is dedicated to helping people. I can't explain in words how dr Kim has helped me and my family. Kyleen blank
