About Dr. Kyle Thomas Osborn
Reviews for Dr. Kyle Thomas Osborn
Didn’t listen or believe in concerns I had about allergies for my newborn baby. Ultimately wouldn’t refer us to allergist when this child was later diagnosed with milk, soy, egg, dog, and other allergies once tested at 18 months. Severe eczema without referral for allergist or dermatologist. For myself, yelled at me when I expressed frustration with his staff and timeliness of response time. Made me cry in the office and had no remorse. I work in healthcare and understand how important it is to have respect and trust in your provider. I would never recommend him as a practitioner. Steer clear if you have a choice.
Be prepared to pray! Be prepared to wait a week for a return phone call. Don't mention you smoke pot or that will be the reason for anything that might be wrong with you. If you are older and have symptoms, be prepared to be told to get used to whatever you are feeling - he believes bad things happen as you age. He does not believe in using masks during COVID. Did nothing to make me feel better.
I haven't had a Primary Care Provider in almost seven years, because I had too many experiences with docs who were either pushy or dismissive. I needed a physical therapy prescription from a PCP so asked my neighbors to recommend one. They overwhelmingly recommended Dr. Osborn's colleague, Dr. K., because "she really listens." Dr. K. was booked solid for 2.5 months, so the practice set me up with Dr. Osborn. I thought he was trying to be jovial and agreeable with his constant chuckling and interrupting me with "yeah, yeah," but I found it very upsetting. I felt as if he was not listening to me or taking me seriously. I got my PT referral, but I'm going to wait to see Dr. K. as my new PCP.
Kyle Osborn is by far the worst doctor I have ever interacted with. He is the reason women don't like doctors. He is rude, sexist, and simply has no ability to listen to anyone other than himself. He has no concept of mental health and should not be allowed to speak on the matter. When I make an appointment with a doctor I expect to be listened to, not assured by some man that doesn't know me that I am simply depressed. I would never suggest him to anyone and I will continue to leave reviews because no one should have to endure this man's stupidity.

I left his office feeling so awful I cried when I got to my car. He did nothing but berate me. He berated me for saying I was feeling "stressed out," for being an over-privaledged, coddled Milennial, and insinuated I lied to him about my sex life (other people may but I did NOT). I will never go to him again and am confused as to how he even still has patients??? Why would you pay so much money to be treated like utter crap?
I saw Dr Osborn for a few years. Mostly for physicals, in general I found him pleasant but when i had a medical issue he was unable to explain his recommendation which seemed o disagree with everything i had read about the condition (from sources like the Mayo clinic and Mass General) . He told me it was a gray area and then yelled at me for not wanting to do what he recommended. Note he has moved twice since his Latham office time. I saw Dr Osborn for a few years. Dr. Osborne was the rudest, most condescending doctor I have ever interacted with.
Intensely did dislike him and do not think him appropriate or competent. Told me I would never need another colonoscopy and my father died from colon cancer. Won't let anyone accompany a patient (my husband) during any part of a general exam. He is the only one of numerous doctors we have seen for various conditions to refuse anyone else present. It really takes two sets of ears to competently hear compunication from any MD . He probably doesn't want a witness to his misinformation etc. This was likely in 2017.
Do NOT see this excuse for a doctor. Told me I was 31 so blood in stool is no cause for concern. My grandfather died from colon cancer with this symptom in his 50s. My dad has had polyps. Another doctor completed exam thank God and determined I had polyps and am now being sent to GI. Hope benign. This doctor further was insulting and rude, and told me anxiety was the cause of my symptoms. He refused to leave the room when I asked him repeatedly after that insult. Don't really think anxiety causes polyps or brain lesions. Disgusting. Do NOT see this excuse for a doctor. Told me I was 31 so blood in stool is no cause for concern. Horrible. TWICE he left the practices I was seeing him at with no notice. The last time I saw him, he told me to stop taking my meds to see if diet and exercise would bring my Type 2 diabetes and cholesterol numbers down. Told me to come back in 3 months to check blood work and when I called to set up the follow up blood work, he was gone. He left no indication where he was going. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.
What an incompetent fool. I do not know how this man "earned" his MD, but it should be taken away from him. I haven't had a primary care physician in well over a decade and he was the worst case scenario for someone like me. He immediately claims that 'all' of my problems are in my head, caused by anxiety, and that he can't help me unless I stop smoking marijuana. At one point during my visit, he answered a joint pain concern I had with, "You don't have any joint pain." I stopped listening then.

I have been one of Dr. Osborn's patients for many years and I like the patient care that I received from him and his staff. He is a no nonsense kind of guy. He is a former military doc, and that may explain his no nonsense approach, but I am a former career military man myself, so I can appreciate his directness. I never feel rushed with Dr. Osborn. He takes his time in explaining what is going on with my health condition or health status,
I went to Ballston spa health care on Geyser road and he kicked me out and told me to find another doctor when I needed my medication filled Omeprozole , he told me to go buy it when i have insurance that covers it .
After switching Doctors for 3 years (2 left the practice and 1 just disappeared) I contacted Dr. Osborne. He is a no BS type of guy, but friendly. He has reviewed my medications, adjusted as necessary, and now I am on the right track. He recently switched to Milton, and I followed him even though it is 40 minutes away from me. I am doing much better thanks to him.
Dr. Osborne completely ignored and discounted my husband's symptoms of infection. Dr. Osborne even went as far to tell my husband that he needed to find a new PCP. Two ER visits and an appointment with a Urologist discovered a series of serious infections. My husband is starting his 3rd course of antibiotics and will have to take these for 6 weeks due to Dr. Osborne' refusal to treat him.
I think he's great! He comes off a little rough around the edges, but he's a good guy and very to the point. I don't understand the bad reviews. I trust him and know that everything he does is necessary because he's no BS.
Worst doctor ever! I would never recommend him to anyone, not even to my worst enemy. Was beyond rude to me. Started me on a medication I couldn't afford and told me to work more so I could afford this medications. WHAT! Who says that to a patient. Immediately switched doctors and never have been back.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This man was so incredibly rude to me. I meant to actually call the doctors office, but they were closed at 4:28pm...even though their office closes at 5. I asked the operator why they were closed..she didn't know. She had him paged. He called me back. He said I don't know what you want me to do about it now, why did you wait until now to call in the most rude way. I had as at 730a and left a msg. No call. I tried to tell him this. He said whoa whoa worst.
