I was very disappointed I feel like the doctor didn't connect with me very well I was trying to explain things to him and he didn't seem very interested for me explained somethings to him how I feel about how feel what going on with me some of stuff he said oh okay. Understanding what he was saying. But I was very disappointed I couldn't connect to him and I couldn't tell my feelings my feeling very well or how I felt or what I was going through that didn't help me at all so it kind of got me upset so I was disappointed it didn't work out. And the videos he sent me that's not going to exercise for me being on the floor but I'll do my swimming and stretching and all my exercises that I'd like to do but I won't do that at all. Not easy talk too. He needs to learn to be more open to his patients and what different every patients out wants wants. What best for them. I feel like for the most part that appointment was not worth my time only a few minutes was time worthy my time. My appointment was at 8:15 and he didn't come back to like 8:45. Dr. Achampong is very patient, kind, and understanding. He listens to his patients and their concerns. He makes sure the patient completely understands what he is saying and wants to do. I won't let anyone else near my back.

Horrible experience. I would never let Dr. Achampong treat me under any circumstances. Everything I said he contradicted. I was telling him about my pain and symptoms and he said that has nothing to do with your lower back. So basically he talked at me and my wife for 20 min nonstop about everything except my pain. His only suggestion after asking him at least 3 times…”what would you suggest “? was to implant a SCS. Spinal Cord Stimulator. I said I’m not trusting of those as I’ve read about some horror stories. He then preceded to tell me I was wrong about that to! Basically he is smarter than me in every way and I should just shut up because I’m stupid. I actually know all my pain very well. Better than he ever could. I live it every day 24/7. He was of no help and extremely rude.

He is an amazing doctor who knows what he is doing. From all the doctors he is the only one who found the issue my friend has and suggeated the correct combination of treatments which are working! Thank you Dr. A ????

Dr. Achampong is great, caring and compassionate!! You don’t feel rushed and he takes the time to explain everything to you!! I highly recommend him for a Doctor!! He is absolutely Awesome!!!!!

He is polite and theoretically knowledgeable and patient but to a certain extent. I think he just needs to understand that most of his patients see him because they have been having chronic and severe pains and also after they have exhausted other options. I really appreciate how he made sure I understood the proposed treatment. It's sensitive ... just be empathetic and scientific at the same time and don't jump into conclusion about the patient's personality when the treatment doesn't work. Very respectful and caring doctor. He has shown me respect and dignity which is hard to find sometimes as a chronic pain patient. If you are honest with him he will be very open to ideas. I don't know where I would be without him.

Dr Achampong is a great doctor. He has improved the quality of my life. He has spent considerable time with me in clinic discussing various options. Pain management is an important service for the management of chronic pain. Dr Achampong works really well with the other members of my medical team. He is respectful and open to patient ideas. Like another reviewer said, very respectful and caring doctor. After my initial consultation with him I was 100% confident that he was going to help me handle my chronic pain, and he has done wonders for me so far. I highly recommend him if you're looking for trigger point injections.
