Dr. Kurt G. Meissner

The staff and Dr. Meissner are very caring. Appointment's wait times are very short. Dr. Meissner has a great bedside manner, takes his time to explain and listen and answer all questions. I had a bladder sling on 2/15/23. Everything went well. Recovery is going well. Dr. Meissner and the surgery staff were awesome. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff and very knowledgeable and friendly doctor. I will be returning for my follow ups.

My husband just had his vasectomy procedure at this office on Friday July 2,21. He said the Doctor and nurses were great with him. I just want the staff to be aware of what happened to us so that it will not happen to anyone else. My husband walked out and looked fine and said he felt good that he was ready to go. I was confused on why no one had walked him out and explained anything or asked him if anyone was with him to drive him home. I figured since they had released him that he really was good to go. So my husband, two kids and I walked out. My husband drove us out of the parking lot onto the street. Luckily we hit a red light as soon as we drove out. Because my husband fainted! In the drivers seat! I immediately put the car on park and turned our hazards on. I yelled out for help and my kids were screaming for their dad. I kept shaking him to wake up. A few minutes later he woke up and didn't know where we were at or how we got there. I yelled for him to pull over and I drove us back to the clinic and ran in to ask for someone to come to our car and check my husband who had just fainted on us. He was shaking and sweating heavily. They should not have let him walk out so quickly after his procedure. I don't think the anesthesia had completely worn out. Or someone should have walked out with him to make sure someone else was driving him home. He looked good when he walked out . He even said the nurse told him " Ok you are good to go!" Things could've been so much worse. We could have been further down the road on the freeway or on a bridge, on a loop. By some miracle we hit a red light with no traffic. The staff needs to be more aware with their patients. My kids and I had the biggest scare of our lives that day. I just don't want this to happen to another family. Someone should have walked him out or they should have kept him there longer to make sure the anesthesia had worn out. They should walk the patient out and always make sure the patient has someone picking them up and driving them. Even if they look like they are fine. What can one say about a Physician thats saves your life. And on top of that makes every day more comfortable to live and enjoy life ! "A Hero" That's Kurt Meissner to me. :-)

Dr. Meissner and his entire staff provide excellent medical care. His interest in me as a patient is very evident and he explains things clearly. His medical support team and office staff are very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I have known Dr. Meissner since he was a 3rd year medical student. I have been a patient for close to 20 years and received 2 surgeries. Obviously I am very happy with the care I have received or would not have continued my care with him.

I have been going to Dr. Meissner for over 10 years. He has been excellent in fixing my Urology problems. His staff is excellent! If I have a problem, I will call and they are always there for me. I would highly recommend him!

He is awesome.

During an attempted hernia surgery an issue was found with a blockage in the urethra and Dr Meissner helped to resolve the issue. My family and I are deeply grateful to Dr Meissner and everyone on the Staff at Urology San Antonio for their professionalism and caring. Strongly recommend Dr Meissner and the folks at Urology San Antonio - EXCELLENT care.

Dr. Meisner has a wonderful bedside manner. He really listens to you . He knew exactly what to prescibe for the issue I came to tell him about. The prescription fixed my issue! I highly recommend Dr. Meisner!

I have been going to Dr. Meissner for 13 years after having been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003. My PSA is, and has been, non detectible for about that same length of time as well! I couldn't recommend him any higher. He is a professional and personal, often a rare combination to find these days.

Every one in the office was very nice and helpful. There was no long wait time that you get at some offices. Doctor Meissner was helpful and took his time to explain things. I would recommend him to everyone. It was over all a good and informative experience.

My Father and I took my 90yo Mother into him yesterday. The staff is so Sweet.. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. They all went above and b yond the normal protocol and couldn’t do enough to help us. We see A LOT of Doctors......... This one stands out as the Best I’ve ever been to. Thank You, Wendy L.Khalil

I've known Dr. Meissner many years, and unfortunately, I've needed his talents to lead a normal, comfortable life. After yet another surgery, and a lot of research on how men recover from this particular surgery, I'm left knowing that once again, the guy is extremely talented.
