As a first-time mom, Pediatric are the trustworthy source. When I ask Dr Brown how often and how much we should feed our infant (2 weeks visit), she said, just feed him whenever he wants to eat. No need to track. I asked, "How do we know if he is eating too much or too little?" She said "That is my job, I will weight him during next visit. And I will tell you if he is overweight or underweight. Let me worry about it" But the next visit is going to be 2 months later ... We also asked regards to formula, if there is any issue to try different brands. Dr Brown said, "You can mix, it doesn't matter." I was not sure because Hoag nurse told us at hospital after delivery try not to mix different brand, I asked Dr Brown twice to confirm her answer, she becomes a little impatient and said, "it makes no difference, you can mix" I have some doubt, but we still trusted her and followed her guidance, feed whenever baby shows hunger sign. He started to eat close to 1000ml/day. Few days later, we started to notice baby is becoming fuzzier and have constipation. Mother instinct and after a lot of extensive research, we also went to a lactation consultant and another Pediatric, we were advised it is too much for infant his weight and age. The formula isn't digest well for him. Poor baby is going through a very tough time for the next serval days. This is hard to see as a mom. Maybe Dr Brown has a long-time experience, I feel she is more about following the growth chart, rather than care for each individual kids out of passion and love.

Our daughter loves Dr. Brown -- as do we! She's extremely patient, thorough, and always takes the time to answer our questions. We never feel rushed. Her recommendations have always worked out really well. Grateful for Dr. Brown!

Stephanie the receptionist is great and we appreciate Dr. Brown SO much. She has been my son's doctor his whole life. She is caring and extremely smart about caring for my difficult boy and dealing kindly with me his equally inexperienced difficult mom. We followed her from her old place. Dr. Brown is awesome.

Dr. Brown has taken wonderful care of my daughters for over 12 years. Her patience and intuition are just what you want in a pediatrician. I highly, highly recommend her. The support staff and nurses in the office and thorough and kind.

She’s so patient and knowledgeable and gentle with the kids. Kids love her.
