Dr. Kristin Kay Elliott

Very thorough and caring doctor.

Dr Elliot is very negligent with care she provides (or lack there of) and is very rude and disrespectful to VA patients and their families. Her attitude and remarks are very degrading to patients. She does not listen to patient concerns or want to be questioned. She also makes excuses for not wanting to make specialty referrals when patient and family express desire for second opinion after care has been neglected repeatedly. When questioned about why there have been no interventions made to help my dad feel better and improve symptoms with consistent abnormal and concerning lab results, her comment was “we treat patients, not labs”. I would avoid seeing Dr Elliot at all costs as no one deserves to be treated so disrespectfully and have care neglected like my father has experienced.

Dr. Elliot treats my Dad at the VA in Brainerd, if you can call it actually treating him. She is not thorough, does not follow up, and does the bare minimum. She was actually rude and condescending to him at his most recent appointment. Avoid her at all cost...she should lose her job for lack of care.
