Dr. Kristen Nooshin Ganjoo

She may be knowledgeable about standard cancer treatments, but she didn't go out of her way to research unconventional treatments (when the conventional ones weren't working). Throughout my brother's illness and treatment, it would take her days to respond to his questions, as if discussion with a layperson was a waste of time. And when she told his family that he wasn't expected to live for more than a few more hours, she showed no compassion or concern...it was very blunt. I don't think she even visited my brother (whom she treated for ~2 years) in his last moments. Hopefully she'll do better with her next terminally ill patient. I had a consultation with Dr. Ganjoo about 2 years ago. She was very thorough. Although I have not seen Dr. Ganjoo since my initial consultation, but she has been involved in reviewing my case at tumor board and has spent quite a bit of time on the telephone afterwards explaining her evaluation and explaining my options. I have been EXTREMELY happy with all my care at Stanford.

Dr . Ganjoo has been a wonderful physician to have following my case. She is thorough,kind,& answered all my concerns. She is outstanding! Stanford is a very special place & I am so grateful to have been treated at stanford.

Dr. Ganjoo is incredibly busy because of the nature of teaching hospitals, but we never felt rushed and she always took her time explaining options and treatment plans. She was always responsive to emails and calls, even 3 years later.
