Hello, if you are reading this your search is over! Call him TODAY! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND I wouldn't be walking and doing the things I'm doing today if it weren't for him and his staff! Not only did they make me feel comfortable through the whole process, the proof is in his work! I did hair for 30 years and wore it out and arthritis did the rest. Karl Varhan is beyond talented. He is EXCELLENT. I AM WEAING HEALS, WALKING AND EVEN DANCING AGIAN!! I am 50

Dr Varhan is wonderful. He did my total knee replacement November 29th, 2022. My recovery has been wonderful. He let me know what to expect after surgery. I will highly recommend him. Thank Dr. Varhan for making it so that I can once again be mobile without the pain I had prior to surgery. You are wonderful

He missed up on my broken arm when I was in the 2nd grade when he practiced in GI. He broke it the wrong way back in place and forced me to receive open surgery to repair his mistake. Literally scarred from my experience. This was 20 years ago, so maybe he improved since.

Did my shoulder no problem and no pain after.

Dr. Varhan took the time to explain everything and what to expect. I Love his bedside manor as well. Most times, they do not have time for you, but he makes sure to take the time. He is very personable as well!

Just went to my last appointment today. It was kinda bittersweet, as I've been coming for the last 10 months. I can honestly say that given the extent of my injury, this has been the best experience I've ever encountered with a physician and his staff. Thanks to all those involved...????

Went to see Dr. Varhan for a toe injury. He recommended 2 weeks off of work but refused to call to start my sick leave process. I explained to him that was what my job required and was the only way for me to be off and that I cannot wear an open boot to work. He said he can write a note and that's all. Was involved in a vehicle accident which tore my rotator cuff, Dr. Varhan preformed the surgery & through strenuous physical therapy was able to return to light duty work in 6 weeks. Back to work without restrictions in 11 weeks. Highly recommend his services! Courteous & caring.

Dr. Varhan has done both of my total hip replacements. I literally got the best of the best with him. You could not ask for a better surgeon. I mean that with all my heart. My hip replacements were done 3 months apart. My second one this morning at 7:30 a.m. it is now 7 p.m. and I am almost pain free and up and moving. He has a system that can not be beat. Dr Varhan was great he did my knee replacement and did a excellent job I was walking on it with out any help after 3 days

He was very prompt, informative, and a great surgeon. I had no problems after he repaired my broken ankle. He was always to the point and very honest. I would highly recommend Dr. Varhon.

He just didn't seem to care my husband had both hands a mess he ended up at Indy .Just don't think he wants to spend time.

I wish I could give zero stars. I saw Dr. Varhan after an unfortunate trip to the ER where they informed me of 3 (detailed) breaks in my ankle after an X-ray. Later, When I saw Dr. Varhan, he diagnosed a sprain instead and said I should be walking on it. I could not. He was very rushed and seemed to have much more important things to do. He did not want to hear anything I had to say as he constantly cut me off or talked over me and treated me terribly as he rushed me out. He said that people see lines in X-rays and think it’s a break and that’s not always true. I tried to talk with him about a previous injury of the same ankle because I’ve been living with pain for quite some time prior to this injury and he didn’t want to hear of it and claimed nothing was there. (Even after I’d seen a specialist awhile back and saw the X-ray with my own eyes as the Dr. educated me on what I was looking at) Varhan reluctantly gave me crutches when I asked for them (I came in by wheel chair) he didn’t even know if the office had any. I even knew they did and it was my first time in ortho in this hospital because obviously it’s ortho and why wouldn’t they? He then said I could see his nurse practitioner in two weeks. Or follow up with whoever. Clearly wrote me off. He threw his hands up and told me no matter what the injury, break or sprain, the treatment is the same and I should be walking in a boot. After one week, I’m still in extreme pain and swelling has not gone down at all and obviously I’m going elsewhere for another opinion. So do yourself a favor and skip this arrogant, inconvenience of a Dr. I never leave reviews, but this time was a must. I wish I could give zero stars. Dr. Varhan did a total knee replacement for me. He went into great detail about my options and what to expect if I did the surgery. He did an unbelievable job. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Went to see him for a bad knee. Told me what was wrong and would need surgery. He did such a great job that I didn't even need therapy. Very nice man. So glad I went to him.

Just had complete shoulder replacement preformed by Dr.Varhan and his team at Logansport Memorial hosp. in Logansport Indiana and feel amazing ...Im going back in September to have my other shoulder done and I'm sure it will be great..

My son had a broken elbow. Dr. Varhan was cold and didn't explain things well at all about surgery. A later follow up appointment showed the screw was coming out on its own. He wouldn't do surgery for 2 months! He blamed my son who did all he was told to do. He thought he did something to cause this, which another doctor assured us he didn't. We got a second opinion after the school nurse called and said she could twist the screw through his skin.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a doctor who listens to you. Having MHE for 35 years he treated me like I knew nothing. His patient manner is terrible. And obviously dosent review medical history
