I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Smoak. She's wonderful. She's listened to my concerns, taken care of all 3 of my kiddos. We moved from Indiana, we had seen so many different doctors and no one could figure out what was going on with my son. Turned out he has ADHD and ODD and Dr. Smoak knew immediately. She's consistently seeing him to make sure he's thriving. My family could not be more grateful for her. The staff is also wonderful here and go out of their way to make sure our needs are met! Love this office and staff!

Very attentive and patient with explaining details and next steps to my son as well. She helped him prepare for his first blood draw.

every time I call the ladys at the front desk are always sweet and on point with everything helpful in every way. dr smok is amazing she takes her time to make sure that my son is ok with his medication and his check ups are always a success

We always have a fantastic experience

Dr was so nice and understanding and really seemed to care about my child and him not feeling well.

Dr. Smoake is always great with our son Danny. She takes the time to talk t k him even though he’s only 3. Always remembers who he is for every checkup and makes the experience so pleasant that he looks forward to seeing her.

Dr. Smoak is very kind, professional and informative on all your options. She was very gentle on a procedure with my daughter and helped her feel at ease. I would highly recommend her.

Line of questioning was a bit Awkward. African American family the Dr. asked my teenage daughter if she knew who who dad was or was he in her life ? I was puzzled at the line of questioning

Staff was very friendly. We had an early appointment which was nice. Dr. Smoak was friendly and made us feel comfortable and was easy to talk to.

Dr Smoak was incredibly kind. She listened, was very sweet to my baby (as was the nurse) and super informative. I am so happy she is my baby’s pediatrician after relocating to the area. Dr Smoak has provided excellence in care for all 3 of my kids since they were babies. Office staff is always friendly and attentive and I love this team. I've even recommended it to friends with kids.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ENTIRE OFFICE!! Dr Belloso is THE BEST OF THE BEST. He as a pedi ER back ground which I think gives him an edge over other pediatricians. He is caring, compassionate, soft spoken, and seems genuine. Being a first time parent, we have a lot of questions and he always takes the time to listen to us and hear is out. Dr Smoak has been treating my kids for 15 years. She is great!

Dr. Smoak has been both my kids doctors for 10 years. She is great! Highly recommended!! Not pushy or arrogant she listens to you and explains her course of action. Pre covid it was super easy to get appt. My kids was sick I got same day appts within hours sometimes. I havent had to see her during covid so not sure of turn around times now but it has never been a problem before. My kidd are scheduled for there normal well vistis in November it wasnt hard to make the appt. Dr. Smoak has been both my kids doctors for 10 years. She is great! Highly recommended!! Dr Smoak is the BEST Pediatrician I have ever encountered. She is patient, down to earth, knowledgeable, friendly, and interactive. She takes a genuine interest in myself and my kids every time we go in for an appointment. She is one of those people that you instantly feel comfortable around. You can tell she loves her job! The staff is always so warm and helpful as well. Thank you all for being so wonderful! I came in on a day where they were short staffed and running behind. Everyone in the office handled it with grace and patience. They worked as a team. I can appreciate that so much because I know it's not easy to do. She sent someone working with her to see us, then she came in rush to talk with us, which I don’t like. The doctor was just bad in her job! The diagnosis for my son was poor, she doesn’t know what to suggest or provide to help solve the issue with my son. It was an awful experience!

I liked the pediatrician, not the office. They (the office staff including a nurse) turned my infant away twice and referred us to the emergency room because they don’t seem to take into account taking sick patients throughout the day. After being discharged the first time from the hospital (without being seen by the pediatrician first) I was instructed to follow up with the pediatrician if any rash appeared. A rash appeared after being home for a few days. Contacted drs office immediately. I was turned down again by the office. Via phone and when I went into the office. Wasted several hours at the ER and risked exposing my recently ill infant to more illnesses. FYI if you ladies in the office read this- it was just an amoxicillin rash that the emergency room pediatrician identified immediately. The cherry on top includes the billing department refusing to bill Medicaid after I gave them the ID number several times. Not sure what the problem is. I called several times and gave them then information. Now I’m getting contacted by bill collectors for $35. Nice job! I’d pick a different office if you’re considering this one. They are clearly WAY to busy and don’t schedule accordingly. I know I’m not special, but my child is and it would be nice to see an office that cares a fraction that I do. Kimberly did not even see us. Turned us away by sending in someone else because our exemption was not good enough for her. The sign in their office is a clearly a lie (See photo). I would be careful choosing a pediatrician for your precious baby who doesn't care about anything other then the way they see fit. Being a mother means I also get a say so in how my child is medically cared for, especially when it's saving his life from another reaction. AVOID!!! Kimberly did not even see us. Wouldn't trade her for anything

Staff is nice and patient. Wait time was short. Dr. Smoak, takes the time to listen and answer questions and does a thorough assessment.

Great experience with all staff. Dr. Smoak is extremely great with my boys and has a great plan for any concerns and their asthma.

Both my children, 2 and 5, have been going here for about a year now. I LOVE the place. The staff are always so friendly and understanding (my 2 year old can be a big handful sometimes). Dr. Smoak and Dr. Belloso are excellent doctors to the children. Very caring doctors and legitlly wanna help the kids. Will always recommend.

They worked us in for an emergency appointment and Dr. SMOAK even stayed past leaving time to see us. From the amazing front staff and nurses to the best Doctor, Dr. SMOAK, this office is the best in the biz. We are very blessed to have found them.

Dr.Smoak truly cares about her patients and takes the necessary time with my son to ensure he has the best course of treatment. She isn’t quick to write a script and usher us out of her office and that means the world to me as a mother ♥️

Dr. Smoak is not our PCP but it is who was available for a appt next day so we took it. She was great. Answered our questions. Was professional. Made my 14 y/o son feel comfortable. All you can ask for.

We have enjoyed seeing Dr. Smoak for the last 5 years for two of our kids. I haven't had any issues with bedside manner, and honestly appreciate her approach to medicine. So many doctors have started prescribing for every little thing - after being pushed by pushy parents- even when it's not in the best interest of the child. We rarely have to wait and they are pretty thorough. The office is always clean and the staff always friendly. However their medical records department is the absolute worst. I think its run third party - through shared care as part of baycare and they are so inefficient. We have had to go in for requests because it was so hard to get something requested and sent out and this time when that wasn't an option, I have had to call and email multiple times. Would definitely not recommend their medical records.

I wouldn’t recommend any parent to see Dr.Smoak , she’s terrible. When my daughter was born , the first 2 weeks she had RSV, I was told to wait a couple of days to see if it would get better with no medication .. keep in mind my newborn wasn’t hospitalized .. I came back 3 days later when she lost weight , lost appetite because she couldn’t eat she was too busy choking ... then all she gave me was medicine & nebulizer & said it will take 6 weeks to see a difference .. mind you this is 2 week NEWBORN . Now my daughter is 7 months with a cold, she was seen immediately from dr.smoak she said to get over the counter stuff & she couldn’t help her.. 4 days later the mucus was getting worse & she end up getting conjunctivitis & was put on Zyrtec to stop the mucus from ANOTHER DR. because clearly the cold got worse.. I would not refer any parent to this doctor, Unless you want to get the push back to “wait it out” & go back in 4-5 days for the same issue that should’ve been taken care of.

This facility is always kept very clean and every single staff member from the moment you walk in to the time you check out are always such a joy and wonderful with my two kids! I’ve never had to wait long to be seen, even when we are scheduled for sick visits and both Physicians that each one of my kids see there are so thorough and pleasant! It’s never easy bringing your little ones to the doctors, at least from my experience, but Dr. Smoak and Dr. Holley’s Staff do everything they can to make it the best possible experience they can! We relocated to the Tampa Bay Area a little over a year ago from another state and unfortunately went to two other Pediatrician’s Offices that were an absolute nightmare before stumbling across BayCare Pediatrics (Specifically Dr. Smoak and Dr. Holley). I have recommended these two, to anyone looking for a Pediatrician since! Before going through trial and error like I did, save yourself the headache and make an appointment for your little ones with either one of these two Doctors. *Also, they have a patient portal and options available to check-in online to save yourself a bunch of time when you get to the office! We parents know how hectic it can be having to fill out a ton of paperwork on top of juggling, diaper bags, bottles, toys to keep them entertained, etc, so this feature is WONDERFUL!! We love Dr Smoak! I actually originally interviewed her former colleague Dr. Mankodi when I was pregnant with my first born. She let me know when I was delivering it was a possibility I would see Dr Smoak or Dr Holly depending who was on rotation. I saw Dr Smoak in the hospital and was impressed with her thoroughness. When I scheduled my follow up newborn visit and had more time to chat I knew she was the right doctor for us. It’s so important to pick a practioner who has a lot of the same parenting views and ideals. For us that’s Dr. Smoak! She doesn’t believe in over medicating, my kids have never been given antibiotics or antivirals, the medication we have been prescribed we talked about at length before we came to that decision, she remembers each one of my girls from birth, knows their personalities, she supports breastfeeding and is willing to listen to what the mother’s gut is telling her too. Took my daughter in last week for her Regular Check up before school starts and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Smoak took her time and answered all the questions we had ! Shes great. My daughter felt comfortable with her and is happy she will be her new Doctor.

My son had a hospital follow up with her and suffered with severe colic. She left the room and said she would come back in once he calmed down.
