Wanted to know more about COVID vaccine vs natural immunity. The doctor was saying natural immunity is not good enough and that vaccine is better. I couldn't find any current studies that could prove this and didn't know why she was pushing me to get the vaccine. She go into detail about side effect or about FDA emergency use like she did about benefits of vaccines. As a doctor, I would think you would see both sides of evidence and have patient decide. Wonderful doctor. Very calming and reassuring manner, also good sense of humor. First began seeing her in 2004 after my initial diagnosis, and was with her for several years. When I was laid off, she continued to treat me in clinic, and again after I found new employment. With another change in jobs, I had to stay in network and I was sad not to be able to stay with her. When you have a doctor who can get you to laugh about your own diagnosis but still treat it seriously and responsibly, that's a good doctor. She and Dr. Rosenberg teamed together for a time to get me a treatment I needed. She is now educating the public in Pasadena regarding the Covid-19 virus and is on staff at Huntington Hospital. I recommend her highly.

What an excellent doctor! If only half of the physicians were ask educated and easy to communicate with.

Glenn Close in 101 Dalmatians, terrible bedside manner, staff is afraid of her. Wrong diagnosis and biased because of ignorance!

Best IDS I have ever encountered in 35 years with HIV. Caring and well-informed.

Dr. Shriner was always available, she explained things in such a way you could easily understand. From her interaction with me and the joyfulness of her finding out which madady I had contracted gave me confidence. Her office staff is amazingly positive. I can think of no better Infectous Disease Doctor to have in your corner. Plus there is her work overseas.
