Dr. Khalid Sethi

I just had a Surgery recently and I’m in the healing process now. He listened very well during our consultation, it’s very hard to find a doctor that does that. My Surgery went great and I’m healing very quickly with little to no pain. They were all amazing, keeping me as calm as possible talking to me and having a normal conversation before they put me under. I definitely recommend him and that hospital for Surgery and any medical care.

Dr. Sethi is a phenomenal surgeon who has been caring for me for the past 20 years. Without his steady hand and amazing knowledge I would definitely be in a wheelchair! Instead I am leading a full life and enjoying my 12 grandchildren, gardening and artwork even after 17 surgeries!! His staff is as good as he is and you will never feel scared as they will help you every step of the way! God Bless this group !

I'd give him a zero but they won't let you. THE WORST SURGEON EVERY!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

I seen Dr Sethi for a second opinion, And I'm glad I did!! I have degenerative disc disease and it has gotten so bad i cant walk or stand for very long. He explained my all my options. I have hear excellent things about him.. now I just wait for the call for surgery

I don't understand why UHS continually pushes patients to use "MyChart" when the practitioners and the supporting staff do not use it. Trying to communicate with anyone in this office in a timely manner is next to impossible... Even when NOT using MyChart... Very professional as always and answered all my questions and we were able to come up with a plan that was best for me! I'm extremely pleased!

Dr Sethi removed a menengioma from behind my eye. I was in the hospital for seven days to recover. I never even had any discomfort. I'm sure they just wanted to make sure my healing was within normal range. I was very surprised that nothing hurt but I feel that is because Dr Sethi is a phenomenal surgeon. Dr.Sethi and his team have been amazing since the start! I was going through the most painful time in my life with a a horrible herniated disc. His team was attentive and always compassionate. Dr. Sethi came in on a Sunday to see me and then realized I needed surgery ASAP. He did an amazing job on my back surgery and I feel so much better. Met Dr. Sethi last Saturday. He was knowledgeable and informative - exactly what someone wants in a neurosurgeon. He is performing my surgery next week and I really feel my surgical experience will be top notch.

Dr. Sethi is a fantastic physician, and skilled surgeon who's well worth the consult. He's approached my care thoughtfully and I feel served while under his care. His clinical skills are balanced with a solid bedside manner. Five Stars!!

Dr. Sethi is a skilled surgeon with the best bedside manner. He carefully explains and answers questions. Visits are quick but don't feel rushed. His office quickly completes paperwork without needing follow up. The morning after my surgery I could walk normally without any pain. I fully trust him if I need further surgeries on my spine.

Dr Sethi was one hour late and entered the examination room as nothing had happened. He is also a complete negative Nancy with no real answers to solve the problem at hand. I will not be returning to see him.

This practice was once an excellent place for neurosurgery, but as of January 2022 they are down to one surgeon. I like Dr. Sethi but he is usually running 45min to an hour behind. When you do get to see him it is very rushed and he does not listen. i am going to go to NYC, Syracuse or Rochester to get the care I need.

Of any one of the 5 doctors I have seen for my whiplash injury this doctor gave me the best description of what is going on with my injury and the process I should pursue to help with my healing. Dr Sethi was fantastic and made sure he told me everything about my upcoming surgery and he has a great bedside manner! His nurse Tracy was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable! Then I spoke with Julie to schedule my surgery and she wonderful! Everyone there works so well together and I highly recommend seeing Dr Sethi and his staff for the best care! After being in constant pain for 20 days, under the care of Brandy Benjamin at Lourdes Pain & Wellness, I saw Dr. Sethi, and he listened, understood, and helped the pain. I actually slept for more than 2 hours in a night after seeing him. 10 Stars.

I really like dr Sethie. I didn't get to ask all the questions I wanted to ask him though? Would like another appointment appointment with him, before I get operated on. Other than that I really think he knows what he's talking about.

Dr Sethi is committed to his patients and very compassionate. The best neurosurgeon snd we are lucky to have him in this area.

He just want to do surgery and doesn't spent time to answer your questions.

I had a very positive experience at UHS Neurosurgery with Dr. Sethi and his staff. Everyone was very polite and knowledgeable. My visit with Dr. Sethi was very thorough and informative. He took the time to explain my situation in detail.

I’ve been treated by Dr Sethi in the past and have always held his care in the highest regard. This includes my most recent appointment with him. He is very thorough with his care to his patients as well as dedicated.

Called in for my appointment right on time. Waited no more than 5 minutes for the doctor’s arrival. The doctor was kind, courteous and efficient in providing a diagnosis and treatment for my back/neck problem. I came away from my appointment feeling satisfied with the result from my appointment.

I was made aware of Dr. SETHI due to a life threatening issue. He took me in on a days notice and performed emergency surgery . Dr. SETHI is an amazing doctor. I've been a patient of Dr. Sethi's for many years. He's always been kind and gentle and above all tolerant of me, i have degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, stenosis, arthritis and several other incredibly painful spine conditions i can't spell or pronounce. Very painful stuff and he's been able to deal with me in agonizing pain at times and take me to the needed surgery and support me during recovery. He's done a number of spine surgeries for me, a hip surgery and a minor carpal tunnel surgery with more to come, degenerative disc is "the "gift" that keeps on giving" as my disc spaces continue to collapse. I feel that without his help I wouldn't still be able to walk. Other doctors over the years have declined to operate, feeling that my condition is too fragile or too risky for surgery. Dr Sethi is the man. I’ve trashed my back over the years, had 2 prior back surgeries for ruptured disks and one level “caged” or “fused” previously. Dr Sethi fused 2 more adjacent levels having to redo and connect to the previous fusion hardware. My recovery has been excellent. I’ve been able to walk long distances since week 4 post-op. And the X-ray shows his handy work, he did a really nice job! Having dealt with other orthopedic and Neuro surgeons over the years, I would trust my life in the hands of Dr Sethi again anytime. He is a busy man and doesn’t have a lot of time to chat, so can leave you nervous about what he will do, but having been in his care for a while now, I am comfortable with his decision making and course of actions. Additionally, I got in to see him much sooner than I was lead to believe I would.
